House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - Orlando
Book your next event with us
Not what I expected. Rather dull with no entertainment
First time there and I can say that we will definitely be back again when we visit.
Awesome food. Enjoyed the live music.
Staff was super friendly and offered great advise for choices on appetizers and main course
I enjoyed my visit at House of Blues Orlando! The food and service was great! I ordered the Voodoo shrimp and the sauce was a amazing. It was served over cornbread. I'm not a cornbread fan, but my father thoroughly enjoyed it. As an entree I ordered the blackened salmon and the Cajun pasta with Cajun shrimp. They both were so good!! They also carried my favorite wine Chateau Ste Michelle which was the icing on the cake. They also had live music! Overall everything was Excellent. The ambiance was a little too dim for me, but I'm sure that was the look they were going for! IT IS A MUST VISIT!!
Excellent appetizers and great chicken flatbread. Great servers.
Everything was delicious. The waiter did get my order wrong but fixed it quickly and got my food out before everyone was done eating.
Our waiter was training but apparently much training was needed. He was outstanding. Food was good. Jalapeño cornbread absolutely yummy!
My family and I are from Washington DC and we were in Orlando for thanksgiving. We decided to spend our last night at the Orlando location and had amazing service!!!! I myself have been working in the hospitality industry for Topgolf and now Drive Shack as a Training and Development manager and I can not say enough how fantastic Niko our server (I think that’s how it was spelled) was. Niko greeted us is in a timely manner, suggested food and drink knowledgable of the whole menu, and was even able to get the attention of my 3yr old.
Over all my family had a great time and would recommend HOB Orlando to anyone I know who will be in the area.
My husband and I tried the Impossible Burger, which was delicious.
Food is consistently good, excellent service and great atmosphere.
Mark our waiter was phenomenal!!! Great menu knowledge and was dead right the voodoo shrimp was a must. Will definitely return just because of his service.
Such good vegan food!!!
Nice selection on the menu and very friendly service. The decor was quite impressive.
Awesome place. Food was excellent and our waiter
was top notch.
Visite a Disneys
Have been eating at House of Blues for 14 plus years. It's a favorite!
Our reservation was 6:15 and we were seated close to that time. We mentioned that we were going to the HOB concert and the doors open at 7 pm. I asked about the "go to the font of the line" service. Our server was not totally up to date on the policy. The food was good, but our service was a bit slow as was our food. We got out of the HOB about 7:20. Then we found that the "go to the front of the line" service stops once the concert doors open, so we had to go to the end of the line, which was long now. It took us about 30 mins in the cold to get into the concert. I will reconsider eating at HOB before a concert. Or will come earlier.
Service was great, food was delicious
I enjoy the food, music and the service. Everyone was inviting and we was greeted with a smile from the front door to when we left.
Food was ok. Caesar salad a little bland. Service excellent though. Dining atmosphere had a New Orleans ambience to it.
Great service. Great food ... jalapeño cornbread is amazing!!
The food was mediocre at best the prices were hi we were told if we spend $25 each we'd be in past the line we found out everybody was in past the line and we had to go to the end of the line disappointed
The food and drinks here are always delicious! Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Thsank you! We will be back again!
Being in disney Springs it was some what expensive. paid 50$ for 2 entrees. No side salad come with it.
Server was very attentive. A member of our party has severe peanut, shellfish, and dairy allergies. This member was cared for and had a seamless dining experience. Music was tasteful and not too loud. Highly recommended
Our server JJ was absolutely amazing.
I've been to House of Blues for concerts before, but this was not one of the better nights. First, although I had called and moved my reservation time, it wasn't done on their end. Second, the bar inside had the worst bartenders. There were 3 and they all moved slow, avoided eye contact, and were doing numerous other things rather than tending bar. Andrew finally noticed me, only to tell me that he knew I was waiting. Then proceeded to chat up the girls at the bar, put their napkins and plates together, chat them up some more before placing the plates on the bar - all while avoiding eye contact and doing it at the pace of a snail. We then got called for our seating, (still no drink after 15 minutes of waiting) so left the bar area thinking that at least we could get someone to take our order at dinner. When I mentioned the bad bar service to our waiter he actually rolled his eyes and agreed! He said he'd been working with Andrew for 15 years and it never got any better! Crazy... normally you want the bar to be well staffed because that's where all the money is. Not this one. Bar Rescue needs to pop in and shake the place up!!! Fortunately, the food was great, the waiter good and the concert excellent!
Waitress was very rude, slow
Had the sweetest waiter ever and the food was well priced for what you got. Will definitely be back!
Terrific service, friendly staff oh, nothing to complain about all good!
We made a 7:45 reservation and arrived a little early. We had a short wait and were seated. Our water PJ took our drink order first then came back for the dinner order. My husband and I both ordered gumbo to come out first. We waited quite a while for them to show up. Eventually a runner came by and started to place caesar salads in front of us. I said, "no, 2 gumbos." Those came out 10 minutes or so later. After a while PJ stopped by and asked if I wanted a refill and I replied yes. This was the only time we had seen him since we placed our food order. He brings back my drink and runs off. Now it's 8:30, no entree.' I see him walking by and as he passed our table I shouted out his name. He came over and I said, "hey, what's up with our food? Did you forget to ring it in or what?" He agreed it was taking a while and said he was going to talk to the manager. That is when Diane DiMarco the manager came over. By then it was 8:40. I told her what was going on. I stated that we were not tourists, we live nearby, that we just worked an especially long and hard week and just wanted a nice dinner. We had tried to book Morimoto Asia and the Boathouse but the earliest they had was 8:45. And it was NOW 8:45. I told her that PJ hadn't checked back on us and that he wasn't informing us of the wait, that he was avoiding us. I also explained that I had been a server for many years AND that I had worked at Disney Springs a few years ago. I said he was not living up to the Disney standard and that he was not doing a good job as a waiter. She listened to everything, she agreed, she offered us some jalopeno' cornbread til our food came, and said she was taking over our table. She offered us anything else while we waited. She brought out our food shortly after and it was delicious. She comped our meal, offered dessert, but we declined. She offered us a 15% discount at the HOB store and a coupon for free drinks and app to use later. She did and said everything right.
Completely underwhelmed by food, atmosphere and service. The only thing that was overwhelming were the prices!
We enjoy going here and always enjoy the Food. This particular experience the waitress was not BAD but definitely Rushed and did not give the attention we are use to. The meals both my Wife and daughter had Jambalaya and I had Fried Chicken were Good but someone else brought them and we did not see our waitress til we were done eating. She was pleasant but disappointing.
Amazing food and service. But I hate paying $150 for lunch when the music is so loud I can’t hear the person who’s dining with me. It was unnecessary.
Great date night and JJ our server was fantastic.
Service was nice. Food is mediocre. Facilities are shabby. We did enjoy the music venue.
A lovely dining experience with an excellent choice on the menus. The waitress was very attentive and made sure we all had what we needed. The food was well presented and also as tasty as expected. I would recommend a visit here.
Food ok, not great. Excellent friendly server. Very noisy.
We had a great time visiting this restaurant and we will be coming back for both brunch and dinner in the future.
waiter was very attentive, food was extremely good
The service was phenomenal. Our server was polite, knowledgeable & attentive. I felt like a valued customer. This was my first time dining here, but not my last.
