Food was good but service was less than desired. I ordered BBQ and had to ask another Server for sauce. My drink order never came till I asked about it and we also had to ask about my daughters side of sweet potato fries. I doubt that O will be back.
Thanks to HOB for the balanced menu with something for everyone. Food was good and well priced for being on Disney property. Good service, quick and attentive, food delivered in a timely manner. Great time with friends, enjoyed walking around Disney Springs after our meal.
We visit Orlando every March so this was our 3rd visit to House of Blues! We enjoy it every time we visit it! Great food, service, decor and we will visit again!
AARON TOOK CARE OF US AND HE WAS GREAT!! I had Jambalaya w/shrimp which was spicy and big portion. Two had Mahi sandwiches and one had salmon and all of our meals where good. We would definitely go back.
This place doesnt seem to honor reservations. Had to wait an hour past when our reservation was scheduled for. Wont be coming back.
Our server was excellent and efficient! After a negative experience at Disneyworld earlier in the day, HOB was exceptional!
Very pleasant experience. Good food, fun atmosphere
It was great. The people were accommodating and the food was delicious.
Excellent food and service, very fun atmosphere. Would highly recommend it.
The family style honey crispy chicken dinner was delicious and a great value.
Good food wonderful service tonight way above average. I wish they played blues music.
Dinner with Family while visiting Disney Parks. Love the food. Shrimp and Grits, burgers... excellent service and a breeze to reserve with open table
Wait staff was amazing, food was incredible, overall ambiance and experience were great. Will definitely be coming back.
Food was good, service was great, I would normally be disappointed with the drink prices, but it’s Orlando and tourist trap of America so it was expected. Had a great time!
My brother and his girlfriend took me to House of Blues Orlando Restaurant as a special evening that started with a promise months ago during my recovery from surgery. They told me then, that once I was physically able to go out with them, they would take me to House of Blues because they knew I would enjoy it. They were absolutely right. I loved it. I've always love Disney Springs as well as the House of Blues concert hall, but surprisingly, had never eaten at the restaurant in all these years. It was a great experience. The food is delicious. I had a bowl of gumbo as an appetizer (delicious) and the pulled pork BBQ sandwich (also delicious) for entree. The BBQ has a great authentic smoked taste. The Fries are also a treat, as is the slaw and homemade bread n' butter pickles. Great authentic southern food.
Whether kicking off the evening with it, or closing the evening down with it, this is a great place for any occasion. Ambiance is really cool with the decor and beautiful Christmas lights. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was especially thoughtful. Overall a great experience. I look forward to returning again and again. I highly recommend.
Reservations were at 5pm but they actually seated us early and were able to accommodate an additional 4 people to our party. Outstanding service and quality food at a moderate price.
Good food excellent waitress but they lost our reservation
Had to wait another 15 minuets
Great place for a casual dinner and maybe catch some music. I was in a group of 8, everyone enjoyed their dinner. Service was ok - not great not bad.
Very good service and pacing of food was excellent as well. Food taste and quality could be improved based off menu prices.
Jj our server was fantastic! He made it a great time for us!
Overall great service and ambiance. Food was also very good.
We had a reservation for 715 and arrived on time but were told our table wasn't quite ready. The hostess suggested we provide our number so they could text us when it was ready. We went to the gift shop and wondered around for a bit and returned just after 730 to inquire on the status of our table, which still wasnt ready. After a few minutes they were able to seat us. Our server was friendly. While we've been to house of blues on many visits to Orlando previously, this time we were disappointed with our food. It wasnt really memorable aside from the $6 to add shrimp to the jambalaya ( didnt it used to come with it?). Unfortunately, we likely won't return for dinner anytime soon.
Horrible service and horrible food wil never go back to this place.
Really busy when we went but overall great experience and we’d definitely go back again!
WE LOVE TO COME HERE WHENEVER WE ARE IN ORLANDO. THE FOOD NEVER DISAPPOINTS. IT GETS CROWDED, SO THANK GOODNESS WE USED OPEN TABLE FOR THE RESERVATION. OUR SERVER WAS BUSY, BUT SHE WAS GREAT.
We’ve visited this restaurant a few times. This visit we were rushed by our waitress and the food overall was mediocre. Visibly appealing, but way over spiced even for HOB. The only bright spot was the wedge salad.
I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. I'd been there before, but remember it being a little more cramped, but that was not the case. The server was friendly and efficient, the food was good and we could easily talk amongst ourselves. We will be going back.
Very slow moving and food was just ok.
We chose this restaurant based on our love of blues music and was saddened not to hear any.
I had the Smokehouse pulled pork plate, my wife had the Smokehouse brisket.
Both were dry and lacking flavor. Waited entirely too long for bbq sauce to be brought to the table only to be disappointed by it's lack of flavor as well.
The baked beans were in a better sauce.
Overall the worst bbq I've ever had.
I've paid a lot less for a lot better
Both my son's and my pulled pork was riddled with huge chunks of fat. Chose not to eat Total bill was $157.86. Won't go back.
I will also add: Probably the best spot to grab grub before a concert at the HOB concert venue! Make a reservation, eat, keep the signed item ticket, and pass the line for the concert! Can't beat that added perk! The grub is good; service is awesome. But I'm a local/regular...so I might be a little biased! ;-)
A fun atmosphere to dine and enjoy friends.
Slow to get served
The service was great. We waited a long time to be served our food. Mine camner out etong a nd by time I received my dinner my husband was done. I did not really enjoy mine after all that waiting. The waitress said the manager was going to come over but never saw him. But they made it right with the check.
We made a reservation through open table. I walked in to the front, inside the restaurant, to notify them we were there. I stood there for 5 minutes before someone from the group of 6 people standing at the hostess stand acknowledged me. Then the girl, literally waved me away to the person outside, when she found out I had made a reservation to check in. UGH!!!
Fast forward to getting a text message stating our table was ready. I went back up to the hostess stand, where the 6 people were talking to one another...and again waited about 3 minutes this time before one of them acknowledged me. Both times I was treated as if I was a bother to them. I worked as a hostess...they're the first face any patron sees in that venue. They could use a refresher in customer service.
Our server, JJ, on the other hand was PHENOMENAL!!! From the moment we sat down to the moment we left....he was terrific. Absolutely captivating personality and a witty comeback for everything. Our party of 4 literally said how much we liked him every single time he would come to the table. He definitely made up for the lack of service at your hostess stand!
We went as a group prior to a show at House of Blues. We had a mix of dishes the best being a generous shrimp po boy. Beef brisket was excessively fatty but tasty. Was disappointed in their selection of beers. A bunch of generic everyday brands and a handful of craft beers that we were informed that the list was out of date. Great service for our server made it a great evening.
Way to noisey and way way to long a wait even with a reservation. Service was too slow.
Everything was great except for the host. My reservation was at 5:45, I got there but there rest of my party (2 more) was on their way. Since they weren't, there the host didn't wanted to sit me. Even though I told here that I wanted to be seated because I was hungry and I wanted to order an appetizer, she said that she couldnt sit me because my party wasn't ready. I don't know if that's the restaurant's policy or if it was the host's decision. But, that was disappointing.
Overall, our server, the food, music, everything else was great!
