House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - New Orleans Ratings and Reviews
It was a very nice time. It would be better if the attendent that received earlier has given me the correct information. I was at the House of Blues in the afternoon just to know and be aware of its direction. At that time, I asked the lady if they would transmit the NFL night football. She said "yes! We always show the main games of the evening". For my surprise, when my wife and I got there, there was no NFL games on TV. I asked thus and they told me that the night game was the baseball game insted of the NFL game. Not a big deal, bur I was really prepaired to watch my favorite game and having some fun. In the end, we just had our dinner and moved to another place to watch the game.
My husband and I came to House of Blues looking for great live music and great drinks to celebrate his birthday. Although our waiter, Mike, was very sweet and pretty attentive...we left pretty quickly because the ambiance was dead and we were bored to tears.
I found this place on the internet and said I wanted to go there. My boyfriend saw it when we where walking and and ask me did I want to go there and I said yes. The food was tasteless the menu doesn't offer much and this is from the food menu to the drink menu. We ordered jambalaya they gave us a plate of tasteless rice a few pieces of meat.
We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The music was not so loud that our party couldn't have a conversation, but was a good volume for enjoying. The restaurant was kid friendly, so our granddaughter was able to join us for a nice dinner. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed the appetizers and entrees.
