First time visiting a house of blues and the music venue side was definitely better than the restaurant side. I had high expectations because they are nationally known, but I was pretty let down. First of all, the place stinks like mildew and fishy water. It seems really old and in need of updating, which they can definitely afford to do with the money they are charging people. When you walk into a place that smells, it sure doesn't make you hungrier. It's very dark and I was expecting more colors and cooler artwork and decorations, especially since the art is managed by the Smithsonian. Paid $13 for a cocktail that was a glass packed full of ice and maybe 3 swigs of actual beverage. Food was not terrible but I've had better for sure. On the venue side I paid $12 for a rum and coke that was in a tiny little 6oz plastic cup.

The kitchen was closed 30 minutes after arrival due to a gas leak. They also did not have the vegan burger that I came for. Thank goodness I was able to order the delicious bread pudding, it’s the best I ever had. The service was exceptional though. We went out back and enjoyed the live band and had drinks.

This food is beyond sub par. Service was fine but the food is just not good. If this is your only option for reservations just go through McDonalds and call it a day. You will walk away with money in your pocket and no disappointment. Seriously, the fries were even cold.

Cheryl our server was a blast. She reccomended some items and we added to our order relying on our taste buds. I'm a chicken fan. We had a mix of appetizers and one dinner. Split with my wife. We're quirky on dinner and appreciate a mixture of food. After dinner went out back and watched the band Black Glass. Absolutely great evening.

I’m sorry but we were so disappointed with the service and food. Our waitress was very confrontational with us. The bbq ribs platter barely had any bbq sauce and when asking for additional sauce she kept saying there’s sauce there and took forever to bring any extra. Eventually the food was just cold and sent back to the kitchen. The drinks (all drinks) came back with too much syrup or too much seltzer in the sodas. The atmosphere was nice. Live music outside the doors but we never checked it out after the disappointment of food. Plus we were bombarded with photography purchases at our table.

We are locals. Ate here decades ago. Still fun place. We ate early so it was fairly quite. Service was good. Our waitress has been there a long time which speaks well for a tourist restaurant. All the staff seemed to work well together. Food was good but could be taken up a notch. Good specialty drinks. Very good portions. Will definitely try again.

Our server,Nikki, was absolutely amazing! Very polite and informative about everything. We were going to the Jason Isbell show after dinner. Our server gave us fast passes to bypass the entrance line to the sold out show. We will definitely make this a regular place to visit when we come to town! Food and drinks were excellent but Nikki made it a great experience!

We arrived right on time and we’re seated immediately. Our server came over quickly and introduced herself and took our drink orders. We started with appetizers of Crispy Brussel sprouts and a Southern salad, the waitress even made sure I was aware that it came with Pecans just to be safe! Both the Salad and Sprouts were delicious. For our meals we enjoyed the NY strip and fries. Both steaks cooked to order perfectly and very tasty, fries were great . Our server never rushed us and was extremely courteous with us. Over all a wonderful meal , especially since we were going to the show at the house of blues venue.

The bad: The restaurant wasn’t very full, yet 6 of us were crammed into a booth and forced to jockey around each other for return visits to the buffet areas. Our server was not attentive at all and failed to take dirty plates for long periods of time, plus neglected to bring refills until the end of the meal. Several of the chafing dishes weren’t lit, resulting in cold waffles, and cold grits—two things which are always better with melted butter, but they weren’t even lukewarm and nothing melted. We had to wait a good 15 minutes before our check was ever brought to us. The good: The entertainment was good and uplifting. The foods that were actually hot, very delicious. I’ve wanted to go here for years, and it finally worked out this vacation that we could. We were disappointed.
