House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - Myrtle Beach
It was a nice dinner. Very friendly staff. Loved the environment
This was a great way to have brunch with live music. Great food!
Awesome restaurant. Great food and service. A little pricey but worth it.
Our waitress dumped a full glass of sprite on my daughter. Finally got enough napkins to give to her to wipe up but the floor had a puddle where her feet were but we were not moved to a new table. We were not comped for anything. She never even went to the manager as we found out when we did afterwards. Manager gave us his card and asked if we were going to the tribute band concert after, we said yes and he told us to text him when we were there and he would buy us a couple of drinks. We did not. Very bad service through whole dinner and food was not very good.
We had a fabulous experience at the House of Blues from the moment I booked our trip online to see Travis Tritt in concert.
The HOB emailed me multiple coupons, perks and a dinner reservation prior to coming down. With all that taken care of, we were able to go straight to our table upon arrival, enjoy some really delicious dishes ( I highly recommend the BBQ Ribs) and obtain a front row spot for the show.
Thank you so much House of Blues for your outstanding hospitality!!
Our experience was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was great, fast friendly and helpfully. Can’t wait to come back!!!
Overall the food was good. Was disappointed that we made reservations about a month and a half in advance and they put us at a make shift table. It was an outdoor metal table with a cover and two small folding chairs. Wasn’t ideal for a nice dinner. Was uncomfortable. We’ll be back, as we regularly attend concerts here. Four since December. But next time the seating will have to be different.
We had a great time! I won’t say it’s the best value around but it is a tourist town and theme restaurant. Our food was great and the service was excellent. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Thank you for an amazing time. 👍👍
My wife and I both had great meals. I had the Jambalaya and my wife had the salmon. She said the salmon was one of the best she's ever had. I do think their wine list needs improvement and the wine prices are a a bit too high.
Made reservation for during happy hour. Did not hav any menu for happy hour specials. My wedge salad was not even a wedge! Would not recommend
Big disappointment! We had heard great things about the House of Blues. In our experience the food and drinks were mediocre at best and the service was terrible. They did have a local band outside for entertainment. On the plus side, the bread pudding was fantastic! Otherwise, I doubt we will be back.
The server was excellent, food was the best we had while at Myrtle Beach and we were seated at the time of our reservation. We were out in plenty of time for the concert. The venue is decorated nicely.
We had an amazing server named Dawn. Hands down the best service I've had dining out in a long time. She was very personable and friendly. She knew the menu and made great suggestions. The food was really. Definitely eating here again
The only issue we had was the hostess looked like someone just ran over her dog. Wasn’t inviting at all. Even rolled her eyes at a few people.
Sunday Gospel Brunch on Mothers Day was an outstanding experience! Food was good. Atmosphere was beyond!
Mother’s Day brunch was outstanding! Food selection was great and gospel group was uplifting. Will do it again.
Great service. Even though they were really busy the food came out in a hot timely manner.
We were there for a show and had dinner before to get early admission. We ordered our food, I had ordered an appetizer as my entree along with a side dish. My husband's food and my side dish arrived with no appetizer. The food runner said she would check. The waitress finally came by and I told her my "entree" had not arrived. She asked about drinks, took our order and said she would get BBQ sauce for my husband's entree. She left and was gone for over 10 minutes, the manager came by and asked if we needed anything. We explained that our waitress was checking on my food and was supposed to get a drink for my husband and BBQ sauce. She went and brought back BBQ sauce and someone else brought the drink. Still no food for me. The food runner also brought some BBQ sauce and stated the waitress was waiting in the kitchen for my food.
The food was okay but not worth the wait. The waitress also brought another beer for my husband and said "Oh you have one already, well then this is on us."
When the bill came we were still charged for the beers. Terrible service. Too many people not knowing what the other people are doing.
There was also things stuck to our chairs and we did not know it until we stood up. Stains on our shorts that would not come out in the wash.
I do not recommend this place for the food or service even to get into a concert early. Overpriced. You would think after all of these years they would be able to perform better with all of the concerts that are there.
Great restaurant and outdoor deck. Food and drink and service is wonderful.
It takes a little long to get food. But the food is delicious! Server was super nice guy! Overall, we will definitely be back!
Attended Shinedown concert. Had good dinner at HOB before an epic show.
The food and music ay the Gospel Brunch were outstanding. I can’t wait to return.
Family get together
Love the singers! Service is great! Food is amazing! Make sure you go see the young man doing the omelet bar, he is wonderful!
We were there for the concert and ate there for the fast pass line. We ate there last time and service and food was awful. This time however food was great and was very impressed how tender our steaks were. Service was friendly but very slow. They just all seem overwhelmed but once again way better job with the food
Enjoyed a delicious meal prior to the Blue October concert on 4/27/19. There was lots to choose from and the prices were average for this type of venue. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. I would highly recommend the Voodoo Shrimp from the appetizer section as well as the Key Lime Pie. Our waitress was very attentive and had a great personality. We were able to skip the line for the concert which was icing on the cake! Can’t wait to visit again.
Really unique, and fun experience at HOB. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was spectacular. The live music didn’t show and that was sad, but I’m still glad we went. The Impossible burgers were delicious. I’ll def be back!
Rather than a meal our group of 6 had a few appetizers and drinks. Typical fried foods but well prepared. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. After dinner we sat outside where they had a live band and a bar. Very relaxing evening. My only question is why country music at the House of Blues?
We had an amazing experience at the Easter Gospel Brunch!
Had a blast! PURPLE MADNESS WAS
AWESOME! Food was delicious! Great First time visit experience to Myrtle Beach!
Reserved table for dinner before going to the show with the Journey cover band. BBQ here is as good as it gets. Ribs and smoked chicken were fantastic. Moist and full of flavor. From the front desk the wait staff and manager were all great. Noise level a bit high with dining time entertainment but we had a great time.
Thank you for visiting House of Blues. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Food was good but service was hit and miss. Took a long time to wrap up after our meal so we could pay the check. We wanted to catch the band after dinner but we're there long enough already. Food was good and loved the impossible Burger.
Thank you for visiting House of Blues. We apologize for you wait and hope you visit us again soon.
If I did I would say plan to set reservations much earlier bc the kitchen and waitstaff were behind then they dropped our appetizers which came out after our entrees. We only had time for a few bites then had to pack everything up and put it in the car to be on time for the concert.
We were told that we couldn’t order nachos because they were out of brisket. We asked if we could put chicken on them and we were told we couldn’t do that because the computer system won’t let us do that...seriously? Overall terrible experience!
This was our first Gospel brunch and visit to House of Blues and we enjoyed it very much. Suggestions would be to add olives on Bloody Mary bar, make waffles to order so they aren’t soggy and don’t serve crab cakes since they weren’t very good. Otherwise the food was delicious, shrimp were nice size and good, fried chicken and tenders were fabulous. Music was excellent and Group was engaging and happy. Decor was fun and server was attentive.
Thank you for your feedback and visiting House of Blues!
Staff was very friendly, especially our waitress, Dawn. Food was very good.
Our waitress was great! She made sure we got our food in time to be in line for the pass the line! We had a great experience! We will be back!!
Thank for your 5 Star Review! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Our waitress Dawn was great! Food was also very good. The only downside is we were seated in a corner which was quite dark.
Thank you for your feedback and visiting House of Blues!
Food and service was great. Nice atmosphere
Food was not very good. But the band on the outside patio was amazing.
