Love the atmosphere! The place for dinner if you’re attending a show, but would be great to just chill and enjoy when they have live music.

Was not best day for the restaurant. Normally receive good service and enjoy the food. Both were off today. Disappointing. Will give another shot in light of several good experiences in the past.

Omg I loved it. I'd never been before and was glad I made the reservation. The house was packed but we were seated right away even tho we were early (I heard others being told there was a 45 min wait if u didn't have a reservation). I went for a concert and enjoyed my entire experience. The food and drinks were really good not at all over priced. I'll definitely be back.

While attending a conference, we set our dinner reservation for 7pm yet arriving early, the hostess was able to seat us quickly. I ordered the house recommended brisket plate. The meat serving was generous and was served with BBQ beans, slaw, butter pickles and cornbread. The brisket was very tender but had an odd texture- a bit mushy. My husband had the pulled pork plate and seemed to enjoy it more than I did mine.

We came here for dinner at 6 pm before going to the concert upstairs. There were a lot of people since it was after the Astro parade but we were seated right away since we made reservation. We had to wait before getting our drink and food but it was acceptable since the restaurant was really busy. The waiter got one of our order wrong but they immediately offered the wrong dish fir free and the right one was brought up very quickly afterward. We ordered the tacos with brisket and it was delicious and seems healthier than many of the other choices of food on the menu! We also got to try the brisket hamburger with fries, which was the wrong dish that they offered for free, it was also very good. We also got the waffle fried chicken skewer and drinks for a happy hour price so the bill was pretty low too :) The noise level was acceptable despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and the service was exceptional. Definitely will come back and recommend to others!

Love going to the House of Blues, especially before a concert on the third floor. Their shrimp and grits are very good, so is just about everything else I have ever had. The Saturday Jazz Brunch is really good.

The main course food was good. The pepperoni flat bread tasted like a frozen pizza. Service was slow. Drink refills few and far between. Super convenient location when going to a concert!

Service was pretty slow and the food was cold when it came out. We didn’t send it back because we didn’t want to have to wait and risk being late to the show we were going to see. Disappointing beer selection as well.

While our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, something caused the service to be horribly slow. Whether it was the kitchen or the bar, we were there for two hours for a party of 4, and it wasn’t a business night. Better options in downtown/Green street for pre-event dinners.

Would have been better if we would have received our pitcher of Sangria before we finished our meal. But our waiter was nice and it wasn't his fault. The manager was nice too. I would have discounted the food with the apology and explanation why it took over 30 minutes before any explanation or suggestion about our pitcher we didn't receive

We had to go back up to the hostess to request a server after sitting at the table for 15 minutes with no one stopping by. Waited 45 minutes for food to come out after ordering. They offered us 15% off for the terrible service and mediocre food and no manager ever came by. There was supposed to be music but there was not and the background sound was so low you could barely hear it. Worst experience at a HOB ever.

We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly seated by the very polite hostess. Our waiter was quick to introduce himself and take our drink order. Since the menu had just changed the day before, he gave us a rundown of specials. I loved our table, it was near the kitchen and the executive chef checked in with us. Also very friendly and it was a pleasure to talk to him. It was wonderful to see a well run and efficient kitchen and you can clearly tell that those people enjoy their work and fellow employees. The portions were good sized and the appetizer was very good. Burgers were huge, pasta was cooked to perfection and the fried chicken was the moistest I've ever had. The quality of food was much appreciated as well as the cost.
It was a special event out, so the bread pudding and skillet cookie rounded out the meal. Excellent. We drove over 1 1/2 hours to Houston to dine there and it was worth it.
There aren't many places I would review and rate so highly, but this is one of the top places I've ever dined. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Excellent!

Came in for pre-game drinks and dinner. happy hour menu did the trick, flatbread of the day was unusual but good, as were the sliders (except for the pickles - keep those on the side). happy hours drinks were well priced, but selection limited - you could use a few more craft beers on the list - maybe a local one

This was my first visit here and I was so pleasantly surprised. Good food, good service, casual and clean atmosphere. Great for watching a game downstairs a and definitely the hot spot for live music!

There's also another room for more of a special occasion or celebration.

I would surely recommend this place to friends and family and plan a trip back.

It's been a nice evening with delicious meals and good music. Musicians worked enthusiastically, with a good set of compositions. We've been surprised to see that the hall was almost empty - about 10 people totally.

We had a really good time. Often when you have a large group, the service falters, either with food or drinks. Everybody got there food hot and timely, drinks were not very strong, but quite tasty. The food was good. I got the fried chicken w/sweet potato fries and the house salad. The fried chicken was perfect. I would definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

Booked and noted for the Jazz and Blues brunch but apparently our time was when it ended. Hostess said there was still time to order off the brunch menu, the waiter said no. Reservation made in advance but they didn't inform us of the time conflict. Waiter was to busy and distracted.

Our waiter David was great! My son Vince had a blast for his birthday. I do habe a question. We bought 2 drinks that came in the famous "House of Blues" glass. Were we allowed to keep those? If so can someone email me or call me ao I can go to pick them up. Thank you.
