We had so much fun! The food was great-we dined family style-the staff is very personable and accomodating. The only snafu was they took my only half-finished EXPENSIVE cocktail before securing my approval when they bussed the table. BIG NO NO. PERIOD. They did remove it from my bill - but they should have given me the option of replacing it. I left a lot more sober than I wanted to after a LONG WEEK, and more sober than the rest of my party. Sad face. I would definitely go back. The ambiance and decore was amazing.

No live music in restaurant at 8:30 on a Saturday night...really?

We ate at the restaurant prior to a concert. The food was outstanding, service was great, and it's a neat atmosphere. The only complaint is that they had a couple of guys playing blues riffs, and it was too loud to talk to eachother. I like music, and I like blues, but this was turned up to 11, and it should've been a solid 6.

Reserved a table for two as a pre-concert dinner. It was our first time to dine and attend a concert (OMD) here at HOB Dallas. We were seated right away without any wait. Our server was able to answer all of our questions and was very accommodating! Service and food was excellent! Concert venue was awesome and OMD rocked!!!

The restaurant was very empty for 6:30 on a Tuesday evening, 4 tables were occupied. The hostess seated my party of 4 behind a pillar so we weren't able to see the stage which is why we were there. We were also seated at the smallest table in the restaurant so after we ordered our drinks there wasn't enough room on the table for our appetizers.

We ordered the smokehouse platter - the chicken and pork tasted sour, they were awful. The other food was edible but overall not at all good!

The waitress was friendly and the music was good but even that wasn't enough to make the experience enjoyable. I would never recommend this place.

This was a pre-concert meal for myself, my teenage son & his girlfriend. I ordered beer, the kids ordered sodas & we all ordered entrees. I will say that we probably took 15 minute to decide on our food order. My son's girlfriend's dinner salad (it was not a side) came out 15-20 minutes ahead of my son and my entrees. The waitress seemed frustrated by this, but did not send the manager over. The server did not know his tables and attempted to deliver our food to another table. The manager visited several tables nearby, but did not stop at ours. I would have flagged him down, but this dinner took over an hour (including our 15 minute decision process) and we needed to get into the show.

Came here for our anniversary and had a blast. A little pricey and a bit loud but well worth it. The staff and managers were so friendly. It was a great first experience at the house of blues and we will definitely be back!

The food was once again a bit disappointing especially for the prices.
The server did take my meal off the check without a question. That was good but I’d think bad for kitchen feedback unless they were accustomed to complaints and returns .....

The service was really slow, it took over an hour to get our food and the restaurant was not even full. The food was good when we got it, but we were basically starving by then. The waitress gave us free dessert to make up for some of the issue, which was appreciated and a nice gesture. An offer of a percentage off of our bill would've been preferrred.

Very disappointing, the 6th HOB I’ve visited and always love them. This location lacks the ambiance the others have, staff was very slow and the food was mediocre at best. The upside was that the musician playing was outstanding!

We ate early, 5:15, so it was relatively unbusy. Service was very good, kitchen, beer and wine list were adequate, food was good, live music was excellent. Place is definitely busy later at night. Gift shop is worth the stop.

Kitchen is always slow. Budget accordingly. I'm still searching for the dish here that I would recommend to someone. Greasy, bland, bar food. Really enjoy the shows here so the convenience plays a large factor in my choosing to eat here before a show. Not next time.

The live music was nice while we ate, and that is really why I brought my 7-year-old son to The House of Blues after an afternoon at the Ross Perot Museum. I feel the food is a bit over priced for the quality and presentation. But as an overall experience, listening and watching live music while dining, I would go again and perhaps stick with appetizers instead of entrees.

Our waiter was wonderful. I decided to treat a couple of friends out for great food and fun. The the chicken pasta, fried chicken, & the ribs (were tuff to chew) has no season at all. I only recommend this place only if you have nowhere else to go

Overall the restaurant was okay. I had been there before and it seemed better then. I ordered the salmon and it was really good. However my wife ordered the cajun shrimp tacos and the shrimp looked like packaged and were not even close to spicy or cajun as far as flavor. She did not like them. Lastly they were out of Amber beers on their craft beer list which I would of liked to try. I am coming next month for another show and hope this could happen.

Food was good! Service was slow, could have been because we had a larger party(6 adults, 3teens). I’m town for a cheer meet that could have also been the reason for the service. They were very busy this night.

Ordered steak salad. Looked like a chopped up piece of meat with a side of roasted veggies and arugla all separated? That's not a salad, that's a steak with sides. Menu also said there were grilled onions but it was Brussels sprouts. And arugla is way too bitter by itself, needs to be mixed to be edible. Slow service and drinks are way over priced.

I was disappointed with the preparation, taste and quality of the food in general. I ordered gumbo and the special that was reccomended to me by the waiter, chicken teguchipoulas. It is supposed to be Cajun cuisine and it was really bad. The gumbo was really bad and did not resemble any gumbo I have ever had. I live close to New Orleans and I am very familiar with Cajun cuisine. The chicken was supposed to be blackened and was not. It was also served at room temperature like it had been sitting around the kitchen fo a while. I am dissapointed that my wife did not like her fish sandwich which was also supposed to be blackened. It was not and was as bland as the chicken I was served. Took the staff over 30 minutes to gind s bottle of Pelagrino, a sparkling Italian water.

Staff and service was fantastic; however, they had to be because the food and cocktails were below average at the very best. The server and manager did everything they could, but they couldn’t fix mediocre food and drinks. Only thing that saved the night was a very nice Voodoo Shrimp appetizer.

This was my first visit, it was a date with my Wife for Valentines day. We were early for our reservation so we went to the bar, the service was almost non existent, the bartender seemed bothered to be there. We were seated for dinner, after 3 tries we ordered a beer, and after 3 more tries we ordered Dinner, A wedge salad that looked like it came from Kroger, a skillet of cornbread that was cold in the middle and Shrimp and grits that may have been worth a third of
the menu price. All in all a bad experience. I will not return.

We arrived early and sat at the bar for drinks prior to dinner. This portion of our visit was perfectly fine.

Upon being seated for dinner we were placed a t a table in the center of the room but because the door kept opening and it was cold outside the entire room dropped to about 60 degrees which made it rather chilly.

Our waitress finally arrived and took our order for our two meals. My date ordered a meal which consisted of veggies and chicken. The veggies were fine but the chicken was so overcooked on the grill that it was like shoe leather. We ended up sending this meal back only never to see its replacement after speaking to the manager. We waited about 25 minutes for the replacement which never showed while my meal got cold, I ordered the jambalaya. My meal was overcooked as well with the rice being extremely mushy and a pretty small portion in relation to the price. We were so tired of waiting for my dates meal that we finally just got up and left without paying for either meal as the waitress apologized.

Will definitely not return for the food or service. HOB should definitely be concerned with the food and service in the Dallas location.

The service was fair. We waited a long time and the appetizer came out at the same time of ONE of our entrees. We had to wait for the other entree. I sent one entree (jambalaya) back because it was BARELY luke-warm. They brought me another bowl which was hardly any hotter. Because of the length of the wait for our food, they did take the appetizer off of the bill.

The service was great! The Live Music was great! The food was good, but they were out of 2 of the 4 desserts offered. It's Saturday night HOB. You're not a newbie establishment. You should really have everything you offer unless it's fresh fish flown in from the coast. We liked the place, but were disappointed with the dessert options & lack of availability.
Also, two sets of entry doors or rotating doors are REALLY needed to keep the weather outside. We were freezing because of the cold air rush every time someone came in or left.
