House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - Dallas
Until then…Hang in there, be kind, stay safe and this too shall pass. Be sure to check back or visit www.HouseOfBlues.com/Dallas for updates.
Conveniently located near American Airlines Center, Dallas World Aquarium, and the Ross Perot Museum, the House of Blues experience brings together authentic American food, live music, and art like no other place on Earth. The sounds are electric, the art is inspiring, and our kitchen is as rockin' as the talent onstage.
Everything was awesome. That was the first time we had been there for any event. Will definitely recommend to my friends.
Nikki Glasser Concert
Made reservations 545
Bar was slow
Food was delayed
Not a good 1st experience
Next concert April 17; considering eating off site
Service took forever and it wasn’t even busy. Waitress disappeared several times. Wrong food was served than what we ordered. Waitress apologized and said she was just tired from working all day and she was ready to go home
Loved the service, friendly
We booked a table at the House of Blues Restaurant prior to our concert. The staff was attentive, and the ambiance is fantastic. Live music on the restaurant stage started at about 6:30pm. The food was good, and we opted for a variety of menu options - apps and burgers/sandwiches. Our issue was with the mixed drinks. We went from a watered-down marg to a mojito with straight alcohol and finally, a disappointing hurricane. These are relatively standard cocktails, but they were awful. Despite the fun appearances of the restaurant's cocktails, I would stick with wine or beer.
Second time we have made reservations before a show and it didn’t get better with age. Food was mediocre at best, service was slow and “working a double”, drink was weak and a bottle of Michelob Ultra was $8.
Food was very good, but could have been better if our waitress would have got our request right. She was new I believe. The atmosphere was great. Priced a little high, I would go back.
Great menu selection. A little pricey but you get plenty of food and it is high quality. Great service & friendly staff. Short walk to our hotel and arena.
We happened to be going to a concert there, and decided to grab dinner beforehand. Neat place, but the food was not anything we’d come back for. My salmon was a bit overcooked, and my husband didn’t care at all for the BBQ sandwich he ordered.
My kids wanted to come to the House of Blues to check out some music and have dinner. They were thrilled there was a crab leg special called the Zulu platter, the waitress Alex was super nice. We alerted her we had a shellfish allergy at the table so her as well as managers Rosa and Patrick were all super careful with us all. All the food was delicious, and my children were big fans of the skillet cookie. The band that was playing was great, they were playing a nice variety of songs from different genres, and the sound level was good for a Saturday night dinner. We will definitely return when we are back in the downtown area, all the staff we encountered were very friendly they made us all feel at home, and paid extra special attention to my children, which is a big plus for me!
From the beginning of the evening until the concert was over the service and staff at HOB were wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Our waitress was Ashley and she was amazing. Full of energy and a great sense of humor she made great food and drink recommendations and also entertained us with stories of friendly ghosts at HOB. We finished up dinner and headed over to the concert where we had great service again from the waitress for the opera box seats and every staff member we interacted with was great. Everyone was courteous and helpful, made my first show at the HOB memorable and enjoyable!
The food was good, but took a long time. We were 10 min late to our show.
The artists playing in the restaurant were pretty loud at times and it was hard to hold a conversation. Maybe that’s by design, but we had a hard time hearing. Request a table in the back if you plan to spend time talking.
Family came in from out of town. It was great. A little loud, but normal for house of blues
Make sure everyone has silverware and that when you promise someone the tickets to skip the line that you actually pay up.
It was our first time to visit so we didn’t know what to expect. Kind of a neat place. I had the jambalaya and it was delicious. My wife had the steak. It was overcooked and fatty. The waitress was trying hard to keep up but the place was busy and appeared to be understaffed. Drinks were good but expensive. Waited a long time on drinks and food. We weren’t in a hurry so overall it was a good experience. Don’t think I will go back but glad we tried it.
I brought a group of friends & family for a late lunch here on Sunday. Rosa, Chef Greg & Patrick all made us feel right at home. We were seated immediately, wait staff was on point, and the restaurant over all was very clean. We ordered BBQ chicken flatbreads, House of Blues burgers and drinks for our table. Everything came out quicker than expected, was made just how we ordered them, and tasted fabulous. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our glasses were never empty, and we left with our stomachs full. Will definitely be returning next time I have guests to entertain.
The food was fantastic; we got the Mardi Gras platter and it was definitely worth the price. Our server Micha was very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience!
Great service, very friendly and the waiters know the menu! Alcohol is a little over priced, but it is everywhere. Great food, it to seems a little overpriced.
The food was horrible wasnt' able to eat nothing. My family did not enjoy their food
My college friends and I had an amazing time at the
House of Blues! The service was fantastic and the waitress and manger went above and beyond, to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious and drinks too!!
Very disappointed. Waitress telling what they don’t have. They even ran out of spoons. Never again
Excellent service and always a good time. Sat at the bar and was well taken care of. Got a pass to cut in line for the show!
We made reservations before the concert we were attending, and I’m so glad we did. We arrived and were promptly seated! Our waiter, Micah, was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We chose our food based on Micah’s recommendation and we were not disappointed! The food and drinks might be considered a bit pricey, but it was well worth it for the convenience of dining at the concert venue with the chance to pass to the front of the line to get into the concert and not have to wait in line!
Food was good, not great. Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. Really enjoyed the live entertainment.
Everything was great! The only hiccup we had at the end was that our waiter promised us the 25% off promotion when I showed him the facebook post with the promotion and he did not give us the 25% off as promised. The service, food and drinks were fantastic though!
Service was perfect. Food was okay. A little messy, but the taste was okay.
the food took 1 full hour to come out - we were attending the big freedia show + had to eat on the run. the server was kind and embarrassed about it all - but given the thin dinner crowd it was way too long of a wait.
My sister and I were going to a concert later in the evening so we figured eating at the House of Blues restaurant would be an easy option. The service was okay. The food was not good at all. The restaurant did, however, have a nice atmosphere.
i made reservations on the open table app and i had a party of 7. the time slots available were 4:30p or 8:15pm and nothing in between. when i arrived at 815pm the restaurant, had about 10 people in it. very inconvenient when you do not live downtown to be put off until 8:15 when there's no other patrons to service. more than likely i'll never go back due to this.
Bbq was dry should of got burgers and fries
We enjoyed our dinner. The service was excellent and enjoyed the live band playing. Atmosphere was great too! The meals were of generous portions.
We had a great time & also thoroughly enjoyed the concert!!!
Easy to grab a bite before a show. Food was pretty good. Items were barely Luke warm unfortunately. Server was nice but forgetful and a bit slow following up on things.
This is a frequent stop for us to see live music and we usually have a great time. This time was a fiasco due to the restaurant. We sat at two tables (6 and 4) across from each other. Two different servers. The table of 4 were done 45min before our table of 6. We had arrived plenty early to eat and get into the concert right at 8pm to buy seat upgrades. Unfortunately dinner took over 2 hours because had to wait an extreme amount for everything. Instead of getting in at 8pm we got in at 850pm. We tried to leave the restaurant for a few minutes mid dinner just to upgrade tickets but were told we had to go through screening and then would do it a 2nd time if we returned to the restaurant to finish our meal. It took nearly 30 min to tab out a table of 6. We used our receipt to skip the line but ironically it took us longer to get in then it did for our friends who were in the normal line that was 3 times longer. By the time we made it in no seats were left so we stood for about 40min and had enough so we left. We complained numerous times during dinner and was told a manager would come by table but it never happened. What a way to see our favorite HSB performers. Great music venue but horrible service in the restaurant. May be our last visit.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!😊🎉👍🏻 Our server Taylor was so helpful, friendly and FUN!!!!😃 Valet parking was friendly helpful and accommodating. 👍🏻 We had made reservations which was easy and they seated us right away. Dinner was excellent and the steak were tasty although they made a mistake with my wife’s but the corrected it right away. 😊 The musician playing at dinner was great and extremely talented. 😀 We also had tickets for the New Years Eve 80’s bash which were great seats!😃👍🏻 The show was awesome and the bands were awesome!!!😎
We got our meal before our appetizer. Very disappointed since we specialize asked to make sure our appetizer came out first.
We went prior to a concert. The service was GREAT. The food was mediocre at best and extremely over priced! One expects a premium but it was beyond reasonable. Even worse inside at the concert. $16 beer
Attending a Concert but the food was great!!
Food and service were great! Enjoyed the live music!
They were less than 10 people in the restaurant. We were seated immediately but waited awhile to see our server. The food was bland and barely warm.
