This was my third visit to Houlihans. Food was excellent (fish tacos). Marc, our server, was very pleasant and efficient. Can't ask for much more!

We went for lunch and ordered 2 items off the lunch menu. You get a choice of soup or salad with the lunch items which we enjoyed. My husband got the fish taco, he thought it was somewhat flavorless. I got the chicken wrap, it was good.

Food was horrible. Probably the worst Cesar salad I have ever had (hard to mess up). Soaked in dressing, and the “grilled” salmon was a dry sad charbroiled pink piece of something. Requested a new salmon. Took forever to get the new salmon. Came after I was already done with my salad. They were out of several beer choices. Service was slow. Simply a horrible dinner experience. Never again

While the food was good, the dining room was not. Usually sit outside or in bar area, but the dining room is in need of attention. Sat across from a missing table and plexiglass separating table was dirty. Not pleasant to look at. And in ladies’ restroom the soap dispensers were not working and the grocery-store hand soap was empty so no soap! Disappointing experience. Usually love Houlihans but not this time!!

The service and food we ordered was excellent. We brought a couple friends that had not eaten at Houlihan's before. One of them had looked at the menu ahead of time so she had an idea of what she wanted to order. She ordered the lettuce wraps and a side of asparagus. The lettuce wraps were not available because they did not have teriyaki sauce so she ordered the cheeseburger and when she was asked what side she said she would use the asparagus as her side but they did not have that as well. She ended up loving what she ordered but ironic that both things she wanted had not come in on the truck. I realize we are still in that state of things not being in stock so there is no one to fault. It just means we will have to come back and try again for the lettuce wraps.

I was flying solo for the weekend, so I decided to redeem my Houlihan's $10 off Birthday gift. It was a lovely night to dine al fresco as well. As always, the food was good and my server Sienna (sic) was one of the best I've had at the restaurant (and I've been there countless times). What a nice way to spend an evening alone - Thanks!

In spite of making reservations, we had to wait five minutes as they were not able to have tables cleared and cleaned, even though there were five unoccupied booths when we arrived. Short staffed? My entree (pot roast) was not up to standards. Mashed potatoes were runny and the meat was just warm. I am a stickler for temperature. When something is supposed to be served hot, that's how I expect and want it. And the onion crisps were hard and cold. I'm tiring of their undercooked green beans and I long for the old days when the pot roast included carrots and celery. Disappointing meal for me and it's a dish I won't order again. On the plus side, my husband's Sedona Shrimp Pasta was quite good. While the sauce was thinner than we have ever experienced and it was less seasoned (spicy) than normal, he found it quite good.

My husband and I were looking for a 3-course meal for a reasonable price and decided to go to Houlihan’s. We’ve been there before and had some concerns but not enough to keep us from visiting this time. Concerns: the tables need replacing (the finish is sticky, not a new problem); the pasta dinner was almost tasteless and the shrimp in it was not fresh; the donuts, although fresh fried, were terrible (mostly a greasy crust with no dough inside); decaffeinated coffee was terrible - lukewarm and very strong, probably sat too long on the warmer and it was served 5 minutes before the dessert arrived. Although convenient to our home, we’d think twice about going back. We liked our server.

The food and service were excellent. The kitchen was running a little slow but they kindly provided some extras to tide us over while waiting as they were a little shorthanded in the kitchen this particular night. Overall, a very good experience and flavorful dinners

Service was very slow. Calamari was inedible. Food was served cold. Too bad because the taste was great. Very disappointed in our evening as Houlihan is usually one of our go to places, However the manager made it right. Hopefully it was just a fluke

We had reservations for 4:30pm knowing we had a commitment at 7pm. The restaurant filled up quickly and the kitchen got behind. The chicken on my salad was not cooked and had to be sent back. When the salad returned, the chicken was still not a good quality and I had asked for the dressing on the side (which I received), but the salad was drenched in dressing. I also had water to drink and the empty glass was never filled back up. When I pointed this all out to the server, she said she was sorry and they just got really busy. We will not be back!

Food was cold and they were out of several items. We didn’t get a bar drink until right before dinner was served. I had the stuffed chicken and it was burnt on the bottom. My husband had lemon piccata and it was ice cold when served. They were out of the chicken avocado rolls so we changed to dumplings and the dumplings wernt brought out until dinner was served. The server talked very fast and was not personable. The restaurant was very dark and cold. Would not recommend.

still one of mine and my wife's favorite restaurants in Columbus. This visit it seemed as though the portion sizes had gotten much smaller than previous visits. Were a huge fan of their spicy breaded cauliflower.

Delicious food! Their scallops are some of the best in town. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Only suggestion for improvement in the restaurant is to replace the tabletops in the booths. The surfaces are degraded and items, e.g. wine glasses, plates, actually stick to the tops. They tops were not dirty, simply have had too much cleaner liquid that likely was the culprit.

I usually enjoy Houlihan’s, and I enjoyed my chicken wrap. The other members of my party, however, ordered fish and chips. The fish portions were skimpy and not very tasty. Our server was very friendly and started out well, but she disappeared and left us unable to request any additional service. I am not sure I would recommend Houlihan’s.

The table was very sticky and didn’t look like it had been wiped off after the customer who sat at this table. The service told me that the cleaner they used makes the table sticky! She nicely wiped the table down. Our menus stuck to the table, our wine glasses stuck to the table. The sticky table made dining unpleasant even though the food was delicious☹️

In fairness, the server was great as well as the ambiance. However, thequality of the food was not great by any means. I had my server take back the green beans because they were very undercooked twice. I thought she would've asked if I wanted a different side, but she didn't...the mac and cheese wasn't that good either, so I basically paid $18 for a piece of stuffed chicken.

We went for an early Father’s Day dinner, and the food was good except for the Sedona shrimp dinner. The shrimp and it was excellent but the noodles were awful. Dry wasn’t the word. But the server made it right, but taking it off the bill. Everything else was really good and huge portions on the nachos! The fish and chips were really good as three people in our party ordered it and loved it. We will definitely be back and trying other things on the menu!

Terrible service. Took a really long time for anyone to wait on us. No one brought water to the table or silverware. My husband ordered a glass of wine, they brought the wrong wine 4 different times (not kidding). We ordered rose and 4 times they brought red, this is after 3 very polite discussions with our waitress that rose is a light pink. My food was brought about the time the rest of my party finished their meals. I was a server once so very sympathetic to that profession especially with the current labor market. There were maybe 3-4 tables in the restaurant and a few staff so I don’t believe it was a staffing issue. Our experience was so bad we will never go back.

I ordered the chicken parmesan from the seasonal menu. It was without doubt the worst piece of chicken I have ever had. It was very tough to cut, and the couple of pieces I tried to eat were so rubbery that I could not eat it. This is the second time I have a bad experience with an entree in the last several visits. On that other bad visit, my steak had so much fat and gristle that I had to cut away almost half the steak. These issues should not happen at a restaurant like this, and I don't intend to patronize them in the future.

This location has been a reliable option for years, but either I had a random bad experience or something has gone fundamentally wrong here. The wait between the time we ordered our entrees and the time we received them was easily an hour and 15 minutes. The waitress told me four separate times my stuffed chicken breast was "almost ready," and the last time she even put a number on it: it was "two minutes away." Ten minutes after that, we finally got our food. I guess I don't understand the point of lying about things like that. They obviously forgot to turn in our order, it happens, but don't treat your customers like they're dopes. The meal itself was not worth the wait, to put it mildly. The chicken breast, which I have always enjoyed before, was awful -- a lousy, chewy piece of meat with a severely overcooked crust. The "garlic green beans" were an embarrassment, undercooked and completely unseasoned. Our waitress gave us a significant break on our bill, which was nice; but despite how much the prices have gone up at Houlihan's (and the noticeably more limited menu), I would have much preferred paying the listed price for an actual edible meal delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I really hope they get it together because it has been so much better here in the recent past.
