   Rump steak was excellent, served nicely and professionally. bar was excellent wide choice of drinks and hotel was easy to access and depart from by taxi

   Was a wonderful experience for our family xmas day lunch. The food was exceptional, the staff friendly and attentive. We've been to several different venues over the years but this one was the best. Will definitely return.

   We chose Hotel West End for Christmas Day lunch and thru did not disappoint. It was well spaced out to ensure everyone was comfortable, food was amazing with and endless buffet of cold and hot seafood and all the usual roasted foods and trimmings. Service could not be faulted with everyone friendly and eager to help - cleaning away empty shells regularly. Continual table service of beverages with an easy access to the bar if needed. Would highly recommend this place and we’d definitely come back! Thank you for working Christmas Day to make our day special!

   Christmas Lunch was outstanding. I would be confident booking this venue for events because they clearly demonstrated their ability to manage and cater to a large crowd. I would expect their day-to-day operations to also be as efficient and good value as their events. Staff were pleasant, helpful and there were plenty of people to call on if assistance or service was required. The decor was attractive, the layout of the area easy to navigate and the noise level even with a large attendance was very comfortable. There were a few small issues, such as a slow-draining sink in the toilets, but sometimes an older building has these kinds of challenges. Speaking specifically of the food in the Christmas Day buffet, the seafood was absolutely fresh and of good quality, trays of hot food were replenished regularly and the dessert display was absolutely delightful. There was an impressive range of food available and it was plentiful. Everything was well labelled. The large group was managed well with no long hold-ups or bottlenecks. The atmosphere was subtly festive without being over the top. Overall my group had a great experience and I would not hesitate to attend another function at Hotel West End. If I lived more locally, I would also be happy to visit on regular days.

   An awesome night with interstate friends who I took along to this venue to partake in the uniquely Queensland menu. The rump steak was sensational and the Sticky Date pudding to die for. Cannot recommend this venue enough for easy,casual and affordable dining!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   We go to Hotel West End every week for the trivia night. The food and service is excellent and it’s a very pleasant atmosphere: not too noisy, light and airy, spacious. And the trivia host is clear, well-organised and fun. Nice place for a group/family meal as you don’t have to yell at each other to be heard.

   Standing at the ordering line waiting for our drinks and to another staff member whom I was told was the shift manager served other patrons but had them over reach me to use the terminal I was still being served at twice for 2 other customers This particular counter is the only counter to order food, the other 2 customers were ordering drinks only Very rude with no apology so asking if I wouldn’t mind changing where I waiting for the rest of my order Very, very rude and worse from a shift manager, they’re meant to set the customer service expectation Then to get our pork belly with the top soft as jelly No crackle at all and they were unable to change it for one the would have crackle and we order 2 dishes of the pork belly Poor overall for dinner Lunch has always been a 10/10 for me

    This was a great night out. The atmosphere was wild with the football on. Food was delicious and most of the staff were friendly
