Excellent food, decent variety. Freindly and efficient staff. The price you pay is knowing everything is hand made amd fresh. Very happy
there is no longer a lunch menu so we were limited to the brunch which way over priced. we didn't know the cost until the bill arrived.
The food was beautiful. Could have been hotter.
The price needs to be posted in thier menu prices i was taken back at 30 $.
Overall good.
Good day I appreciated the prompt and friendly service, the staff were smiling and efficient. The food was very well presented and much enjoyed by all. Thank you Hotel Saskatchewan Dining Room for a great Christmas lunch.
Great place to eat and the ambiance is cozy and elegant without being stuffy,
Our waiter was extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to treat us well.
Quiet atmosphere with elegant ambiance and superb food. It is always a pleasure spending time in this restaurant.
We loved our brunch in the dining room. Perfect location to celebrate my daughters 20th birthday with family. The staff was incredible and surprised her with a special birthday dessert. Thank you for going above and beyond and helping make her day truly special.
The food was excellent as always. Hot and attractively presented. Chef is always on hand to answer questions. Nothing is too much trouble for the servers
Such a treat - such a lovely place, outstanding service, food, creativity —- and ambience.
Music a little too loud.
The dining experience met my expectations. I was most impressed with the lady who looked after us. I will definitely return.
Great brunch. Pricey but you get your money’s worth. They make omelettes right fresh in front of you. Have a lot of selection. Love this brunch.
We have a big loud family and we never arrive on time - the booking staff was pretty great about our weird requests and made helpful suggestions and changed our booking time for a better experience!
We have been many times to the buffet. The food this time was cold and not much selection.
I'm glad I have this opportunity to relay how disappointed we were in your brunch for Mother's Day . With your price we were expecting something amazing which it certainly was not. The set up was not great for getting the food, and the food,we all went for eggs Benedict but unedable, egg so runny and the bottom uncuttable, then a couple waffles left in the tray that were very dry. Very unimpressed!!! Really have no intentions of ever going back.
We have been here many times for brunch, over 30 years. This year just felt less than the usual. The side room where we were sat was far too crowded with its regular furniture. The service was good but not Hotel Sask good. The food is was alright, over cooked benedict, grainy waffles but maybe I just built it up in my mind. The place was magical when I was a child.
I found the experience to be underwhelming. What happened? The selection of brunch and desert items are one third of what it used to be, and yet it was still $75.00 for 2 Easter Brunch.
Our bill was left on our table about half way through our meal, which left us feeling like we needed to hurry and leave.
I will not be going back.
I booked our reservation online, through the open table app. I booked a table for four at 11am on a Saturday. When we got there we were informed that the restaurant actually closed at 11, but we were welcome to eat in the lounge. We were a little put off by the change (I mean, why would the app even allow a reservation to be booked for the time that they close?) but we accepted. The lounge service was great. I ordered steak and eggs... aside from the steak being a little undercooked (I ordered medium and it came to me medium rare), the food was good.
The server was fantastic. Very friendly, helpful with the menu and welcoming.
Four of us went to the Sunday brunch to celebrate my 60th birthday. We waited a very long time to have someone serve us coffee and explain what to do. In fact after almost 10 minutes we flagged someone down. The food was good but not the variety they used to have. The service was not good. We had to flag someone down to replenish coffee each time. Our used plates were not removed, so we had to move them to another table so we had room.
They did bring a piece of delicious cheese cake as a birthday treat.
However, on the whole I was definitely disappointed. It was not worth the price and just isn't as elegant an experience as it once was.
food was rather tasteless. very expensive for the quality. beautiful building, though.
Circa 27 is a hotel lounge. It is not a dining room or restaurant. This was disappointing and detracted from the evening. Our reserved table was waiting for us. A reservation was not necessary. The food was so so. The service was what you would expect in a lounge. The price was a fixed amount for a 3 course meal. The menu was for restaurant week.
This is not a place i would return to when i am going out for a meal.
While we had a reservation seems it was not necessary or knowledge by the personnel. The food was very good, as expected.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service.
Took a group of 9 there for a special celebration & it just didn’t have the vibe we heard of offered. Hockey game was on tv and just seemed very hotel lobby and not at all what we expected.
Super beautiful spot! Nice and small comfortable seating and cool vibe. If you like old fashions try the smoked old fashion it is delicious! Over all great experience we will be going back to circa 27 lounge in the future.
the price was to much for what was available.screwed up the time that the dinner was suppose to start.the meal and variety that was there back in 2013,was a lot simpler for food choices.this was to fancyfor a Christmas dinner.we are from the praires and like old fashion plane variety of food choices.
Was very disappointed that the Mushroom Soup has been taken off the menu. The Hotel has been known for their mushroom soup for years and years. Sure wish they’d reconsider.
Circa 27 needs to provide more details, ie time for Sunday brunch is from 10-2; breakfast is before that. I could not get that info until I and friends got there at 9:30. I tried to phone the hotel for clarification, but could only get a recorded message 2 days before.
Our service by Dora was outstanding as usual! We are really going to miss her. The food is not as good as it used to be. We've been coming for Christmas High Tea for 10 years and the food and ambiance are not as enjoyable as in the past. It's disappointing not to see the room full of others enjoying the tea. There was no Devonshire cream or jam for the scones, just the butter. Somewhat disappointing.
We have been to your Sunday brunch a few years ago. It was unbelievable and so busy that you would have to book your settings. The buffet now is not very big at all. We were very disappointed after telling out friends what we had enjoyed previously. The food was very good, and the service was excellent but not a big choice for the money we spent.
Food was really good.
The Hotel Sask has, sadly, closed its "Ranch Room" and moved formal dining to the lounge. The front desk advised the restaurant is only open to serve breakfast. The Lounge is very informal, service good, very quiet and food very tasty. Nice emphasis on Saskatchewan dishes, including meat, fish, seasonal vegetables and beers from local breweries. Despite all this, bring back the formal dining experience with a first class restaurant in a once great hotel!
Family member’s 25th birthday
Made reservation-- but was not in the books when we arrived. Service was good. Food was ok.
