I ordered the lamb loin which wasn't cooked, Brussels sprouts were still hard, not cooked properly, so very disappointing on this meal & price.

The food was great as was the service. We went on a Wednesday night and it was busy but not too noisy. The open fire was lovely. Only a few option for coeliacs to select from but enough.

This dining experience was not great. We noted on booking it was for an anniversary and we were not made to feel special. Put next to a very noisy 20 seat table. Seated down the back in main thoroughfare. Had to ask for more water. Felt rushed and uninviting. Food was lovely though.

Though we booked for the restaurant, the venue only opened the cafe side which wasn't near the same quality in terms of ambience. Disappointed, we stayed and were seated at a table that felt like we were on a stage. Not winning. Then we ordered. The service was great and the meals were better than expected. My husband had a couple of cocktails which were on point and definitely turned the evening around.
