   I have been dining at the CBD for over 7 yrs now and I have to say over the last 12 mths the quality of the food has dimished considerably ,the service is great and having said the steak and pasta dishes are very good and good value on weekends Ibtried to edit my booking details on the appb3 times it wouldn't process and as been a rewards member forbears no one can say what is the benifet if the programe ?

   You cannot fault CBD for any problems. Had dinner again at the CBD last Friday night, very busy, the staff handled this without any problems.

   Steak was over cooked and salad was just lettuce leaves nothing else pretty poor

   unfortunately i ordered the salmon on sunday night I was 2nd person to order food came out within a few minutes salmon was half cooked and roast tomato and potatoes were cool normally everthing is excellent

   Outdoor seating is very calm and pleasant. The $17 lunch menu is great value, the crispy salmon bowl (like a poke bowl) in particular.

   It’s my local so hate to bag it but if you don’t say anything then they never know so I’m saying that my meal was average ordered a chicken parmigiana and my mum got the mushroom schnitzel….well the parmigiana went missing and I was served a plane crumbed schnitzel (lucky I was hungry) bit meals were well over cooked as well unfortunately but everyone has a bad night and hopefully next time will be a lot more enjoyable…see you again 👋🏾

   Let me start by saying the wait staff are all so lovely and especially the female duty manager. We have been coming to hotel CBD every single weekend for about a year. It used to be amazing. Now the chefs are absolutely abysmal. 2 weeks ago when we came, I asked for two garlic pizza breads and to have a gap between mains being bought out. One steak was bought out before the breads, then a bread and only one then they forgot 2 meals. It was a disaster from start to finish. The next weekend I mentioned all of this to the female duty manager and she sorted it by giving us a comp voucher to pay for the meal the following weekend which was fine. Tonight a rude unfriendly male duty manager took my order at the till, couldn’t even crack a smile. So unfriendly. I went up to the chefs and said please do not start our main meals until we have had our entrees of two garlic pizza breads. Then yep everything came out all together again. Pizza breads were not as they usually are. I’ve attached photos. The first lot was sent back these photos are the second attempt. Steak came out well done I asked for medium rare it was meant to have only chips no sauce but came with salad and gravy. Also at the very beginning we had to ask for another jug of coke as it was completely flat as. I am sorry but I think you’ve almost lost us. The wait staff are so lovely and bubble and friendly and they’re constantly having to deal with complaints because of these useless chefs. Even after a few weeks ago when we got the comp voucher. There was 11 complaints from that Sunday evening. So the first date was July 1st and the second date was tonight 16/07. We have loved CBD and are so disappointed to be made out to be a Karen due to these incompetent chefs. Also tonight I had garden leaves and a stick in my meal.

   We usually love coming here for dinner. But jave noticed the food quality has definitely dropped quite dramatically in the last few visits. Not sure if there is a new chef or what the problem is. Not sure if we will be back.

    Our meals took a while to arrive. I am a coeliac and I chose a gluten free option which was brought to the table with fries that contained gluten. I was then told that their second fryer was broken and the meal wasn't 100% gluten free. My family's meals arrived cold and looked very disappointing. We won't be going back anytime soon.
