   Great place to hit prior to a Maple Leaf game... food was good... at bit on the pricey side but overall good.

   Hit or miss and this visit was a miss. Service was not as good as usual. Steak was not as good as usual. For what is being charged, especially when you are in and out in an hour or so to get to the game, it should be better.

   Spiros our server was excellent in guiding us through the menu and was attentive. I would go back the only thing I was disappointed in was overall cost was expensive 50 bucks per person with tax and tip should not be that expensive to take a family of 5 out for fish and chips burgers and soup with soft drinks.

   I was worried about service when everybody shows up at the same time and especially for Leafs Habs on a St.Patricks Day Saturday night. Thinking sort of a Hell’s Kitchen nightmare. However, the service was second to none and food fantastic. We had time to spare before the game started. Cant recommend Hot Stove enough.

   Overall a bit disappointing. It’s been a few years since I’ve been. The service has fallen significantly. This used to be a very special night with exceptional service. We were pressured to order immediately. Our appetizers were prompt and delicious. But the steaks took 45 min and we almost missed the start of the game. The steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly but overpriced. We had a medium valued wine and the bill was well over $300 for two people. The place was packed and noisy, which I don’t mind, but I guess popularity leads to complacency. Our server seemed distracted and insincere and had no idea what was going on in the kitchen. It’s a fun experience eating so close to the action with the option of returning at intermission but I sincerely hope improvements are made. The Hot Stove used to be a memorable evening and a reprieve if the glorious Leafs didn’t happen to win

    I've eaten here several times prior to the Raptors game and it has always been a great experience. This time around .... Not so much. Rack of lamb was chewy, server didn't know his alcohol offerings, and service seemed to be spotty at best.
