   Delicious food and wine in a spectacular Austrian Chalet located on the piste with stunning scenery. The wine list is known worldwide. The welcome after lunch at the long bar is also and important part of any visit.

   We came for lunch, so service, food, price etc fairly standard for the region. We were recommended because of the slide going down to the toilets making it a simple rather than painful experience! However, inside it is beautiful and the wine cellar definitely has WOW factor. Would have like to have experienced it in the evening for dinner, but we were in St Anton so would have needed to arrange transport.

   Can’t fault the location and the atmosphere. Seems a popular Restuarant. But the food was very average. They had given up our table when we got there so found us one out the way. I had way better food for less money in st anton. I remember it being a lot better. Real shame.

   The restaurant was very busy, which we expected but service was particularly poor. The menu is not as good as I remember and food is ok but not special. In an area with many other good restaurants for lunch this meal was disappointing and I would not go back.

    Leider waren wir von unserem Besuch enttäuscht. Wir hatten die Hospiz Alm in den letzten Jahren immer wieder gerne besucht. Allerdings wurde die Speisekarte komplett geändert. Die angebotenen Speisen passen nicht auf eine Alm. Was uns aber besonders enttäuscht hat, waren die Preise! Gegrilltes Fleisch war nicht unter 200,- zu bekommen, da die Stücke für 3 Personen berechnet wurden... Wir hoffen, die "neue" Führung überdenkt die Speisenauswahl und bietet in Zukunft wieder die ein oder andere "normale" Speise zu einem angemessenen Preis!

    Outstanding as ever. Renovations to the restrooms was needed but is really well done. Slide fun as always. Food amazing. And the staff were simply superb. Great wine recommendation. Generally a fabulous lunch.

    Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, schön angerichtet und die Portionen reichlich. Wir waren das 2. mal da und unsere Erwartungen wurden fast noch übertroffen. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

    I have to say I was disappointed it feels that they are too busy to care really. Wine was terrific, food very good but we ordered boards of charcuterie to stay then mains, but they started to bring the mains on dribs and drabs. we sent them back eventually to be told the boards come with everything else when they are ready and we couldn't have them as starters?.?? odd seems a very Austria thing to do. because I was so grumpy to be told this we spent substantially less than we would have done on wine etc. shame the last time I was there in their balcony it was epic and made my weeks skiing.

    I have been to the Hospiz Alm a number of times over the last 10 years so consider myself a good customer. I usually call to book a table but this year was directed to Opentable which I used. On arriving with my group of nine I was told that I had no booking at all. I had called earlier that morning to extend the table from 5 to 9, bringing even more custom. I was dealt with badly; they didnt even want to look at my email from Opentable but they eventually found a table for us and proceeded to throw the food at us as it appeared rather than serving the whole table together. Also we were never offered a wine list. Given we were all adults and love wine, this clearly would have been an opportunity but no, frankly they couldnt wait to see the back of us. Clearly the place has either just changed hands or is under new management. We wont be returning. You should also remove Putin’s bottle of wine from the cellar - maybe sell it and a send the proceeds to a Ukrainian charity?

    Charming place. Wine list was outstanding. Duck for 2 probably the best ever and Marie took good care of our group. Can't say enough. A lovely evening that will be one of the highlights of our Holiday.
