Horseradish Grill - Buckhead Ratings and Reviews
We've been to this restaurant several times and have liked it. We took our family there for brunch and were disappointed. This time it certainly did not live up to our expectations. It took quite a while to receive our orders and the food was not as good as we've had previously. The grits were a mushy ball, the spinach salad was drenched in dressing and the burger had no taste while the pimento cheese(my favorite) in the center had disappeared into the patty. The biscuits were dry and not tasty at all. The only really good thing was the banana bread in the basket of sweets. I think it'll be some time before we return.
I have been to this restaurant twice and it has been wonderful both times. The food is awesome and the wine list is good. Service was good too. There is a bar area and separate dining room and a beautiful courtyard. It was pretty crowded so it is very popular. Valet parking makes it easy. I had the vegetable platter and loved it. Try the pimento cheese balls. Yum yum!!!
It's so nice to have a great historic restaurant right at a venue so that you can enjoy a drink, fine dinner and walk to the show. We eat there regularly and it never disappoints. Food and service are both excellent each time. Nice remote areas within a relatively small restaurant allow for quiet conversation, but it also has an energy to it because of the bar & reception. I took my daughter & sister-in-law to the Evanescence concert and they enjoyed the dinner immensely.
Great evening again.
We were well pleased that we had made this our choice for dinner before a concert at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. Everything went smoothly and we had a great dining experience. Service from valet to dessert was excellent. The starters and entrees were unique and delicious. Creative cocktail menu as well!
We love Horseradish Grill! The atmosphere is perfect for a fun date night! I love how cozy the place it and we always get started at the bar with a nice cocktail. The main menu is delicious and the servers are very good as well. We choose this restaurant for a special occasion!
It has been over a decade since we have been to the Horseradish Grill. We lived in Vegas a good part of that time. Since this is where my husband and I had our first date 21 years ago, we thought we would give it a go and reminisce. Food was still fresh and fantastic. I had the grouper and my husband had the trout. Both were tasty as were the grit fritter appetizers. For dessert we had the red velvet cake and the spice cake. Both were yummy. The service was good and we plan to go back again soon.
Great neighborhood restaurant ... so tired of chains. Best old fashioned (with Bulleit rye) I've ever had and I'm from bourbon country! Service the best! Snapper a regular menu item and won't disappoint! Finish it off with the oatmeal spice cake with caramel ice cream. Yummm!
We have always enjoyed this place. Typically great food. It was a little disappointing this particular time because the meals were not quite what we had been used to. The fried chicken, typically one of their signature dishes, was cold and not quite thoroughly cooked. We had two orders of it, both were cold. We may try again but it might be sometime.
We sat on the patio and the weather was perfect! We enjoyed the fried chicken and lamb. The only negative was that the fried chicken portion is way too much for 1 person. I would suggest shrinking the portion size and reducing the cost. Other than that the food tastes wonderful and service is great!
