Horseradish Grill - Buckhead
Everything was mediocre. Waited over an hour to get food and when it came out the burger was over cooked with cold fries. We had to ask the waiter repeatedly for refills. Just a bad experience.
Great place for a Father's Day brunch with the family.
This was our second visit. Our first visit was much better and we really enjoyed it. But this visit was not good. Parking was very difficult as the valet was also parking folks for the concert at Chastain. We did not know there was a concert that night so we were surprised by the volume. The lot was packed and there was a line to get in the lot to the valet. After that, the overall tone was set by the table service, the waiter seemed overwhelmed. Most of the time we had dishes on the table, it took a long time to order our main course and it took over 40 minutes for the main course to arrive. The food we ordered wasn’t what we asked for on one of our meals. And overall the food was so-so at best. On the positive side, we sat outside and really enjoyed the ambiance of the patio at night. Maybe this was just a bad night and not an indicator but we are reluctant to go back now.
Perfect Location for dinner and a concert. Food was fabulous! Most veggies are grown in their garden!!
Wonderful food and service
I’ve eaten at Horseradish Grill for years and always enjoyed it, but not tonight. The scallops were under cooked and the Caesar salad had some not fresh brown leaves in it. Food was disappointing, but the ambiance is always quaint and service was really good. My fiends dinner was adequate as well. For the value of what we ate a disappointment.
Horseradish is always fabulous. It’s our go-to spot. And Peter was wonderful.
Love the atmosphere and the food is always delicious!
Had not been to the horseradish grill in a long time and was so thoroughly delighted and surprised with the food, the combination of flavors, the service, totally an enjoyable evening
You will not be disappointed! The grow their own flowers and make their own ice cream...the food was beyond amazing. I brought my friend here for her birthday...she came back two days later!
dependably great - great atmosphere, food, selection and service...the special was halibut on fresh creamed corn. Delicious.
Great food and inviting space ... always enjoy coming!
Excellent start to summer with a wonderful dinner on the patio at Horseradish Grill!
I know that "good" isn't going to be good enough for those who love HRG, but it will have to be. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great. We shared three apps and had drinks. It was quiet at the bar, although the very nice outdoor seating area was fairly full. This experience won't stop us from going back. Everybody has a meh night now and again.
My steak was completely over cooked. I asked to be re prepared and my second steak was completely raw. It felt like they were upset because I asked for it go back. I will never be back.
We have recently moved back to Atlanta and the Horseradish Grill was a favorite 20 years ago & Still is! It was very relaxing in a park/golf like setting. The menu was just what we were expecting and the service, food, and quality was excellent.
We will be back often now that we live in Atlanta - a great place to enjoy a meal and relax.
Eating outside at Horseradish Grill is one of my favorite lunch activities. The trout main dish and okra appetizer were both perfectly prepared. Our service was quite slow but the food and ambience made up for it. Will be back!
Great service food and ambiance. Tuna on fresh greens was excellent as was my guests bun less burger. Awesome lunch in a great setting
We had fried chicken and cornbread crusted trout. Delicious!
Unbelievable that in today’s world, a fine restaurant sees fit to nickel/dime customers with extra charges for substitutions, sharing, etc.
The food was good but the waitress was extremely slow. And no, it was not crowded at all. Also, this place is very overpriced.
Horseradish always exceeds our expectaions! The food is amazing. Service is the best. Thank you!
We sat outside so the noise and ambience were perfect! It was a beautiful spring night. The food and drinks were great. Service was certainly adequate but I was just a tad disappointed that our waiter didn't have much of a sense of humor...made our banter with him just a little awkward...no big deal. He provided attentive service so that's what is important to most people. I just like the whole experience to be nice and fun when I'm out with friends! The trout dish is a great choice!
Lunch is better
We have been to Horseradish grill numerous times so we thought it’d be great for mother’s day. Unfortunately it was extremely lackluster. The food was like warm at best. Service was slow. My salad was barely touched because it was warm and didn’t taste good and the server didn’t even comment. Maybe they were overwhelmed but it was a pricey meal to not have enjoyed it. Fortunately the shrimp and grits was spot on as usual.
Loved it... but then, we've been going there for years and always love it.
We have always loved Horseradish Grill and this was our second Mother's Day visit there. This year was a disappointment. Service was rushed and the server tried to lie and say that a kids menu was not an option. She seemed annoyed that we wanted kid friendly options for our 3 and 6 year old. They rushed us through our meal where we barely had time to enjoy one drink before our meal was over in less than an hour. It was not the special day we experienced the year before.
fix prix menu on special occasions (mother's day) unfortunately don't reflect the typical outstanding dishes on the menu. Sticky buns and biscuits are grand enough for a full meal in itself with the honey butter but save room. There's a nice mix of breakfast and lunch dishes instead of being lunch-heavy. On a nice day there's no better patio in town.
I was so disappointed by the food. Brunch is one of my favorites, but my entire party was disappointed. Cute place, ok service, ok food, wont be coming back or referring people here. Maybe dinner is better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Everyone from the Valets to the chef’s server were engaging, pleasant and kind. The food was seasoned to perfection and the portions were generous. We look forward to visiting again. We’ll request the patio next time.
We did not have a good experience this time. The food came out rapidly fast which means it was not prepared to order. Although the fish was a good temperature, the sides were very cold. We sent that back and when the plate came back it was obvious everything had just been microwaved, our fork marks were still in the side of grits. It was unfortunate.
We dined on the patio on a beautiful night. Our waiter, Ben, let us relax and visit as much as we wanted. When we did order, food was outstanding. Nice wine list too.
It’s always a great meal. Service is top notch
Always a great place to go, a neighborhood spot with unpretentious feel
The French toast was absolutely superb. Excellent service as well.
it took an hour for us to get our food. The noise level was so loud that i could not hear the person next to me. The food was good, the service ok.
HRG is our neighborhood restaurant. Service can be a little spotty as it was this trip. Food's good, wine's good. Brad is our favorite car parker in the city.
Sitting on the patio outside with the lovely garden is so wonderful in the spring with friends. Great food, service and ambiance.
Friendly service by Nura, great food, lovely ambience.
