Horseradish Grill - Buckhead

Started with the cosmo martini that was PERFECT! Scallops for appetizer, entree of lamb chops that were some of the best I have eaten. Our waiter was always on target. Our rainy cold night ended with perfection at the Horseradish Grill.
Horseradish Grill never disappoints. Total crown jewel in Chastain Park. The food is always outstanding with the fish dishes being the star. Amazing wine and bourbon list including Pappy Van Winkle. Amazing.
Tempura okra and fried green tomatoes are outstanding appetizers. Very large portions. All fish dishes are excellent. Strawberry cheesecake is very good. Ambiance is charming. Service is friendly and excellent. Not crowded at lunch. Highly recommended.
Love this place - so cozy!
Great as always
Love the neighborhood ambiance. Sunday night’s prime rib dinner was just what we wanted. Restaurant not crowded so great for conversation.
Always a classic, Southern experience. Looking forward to the updates that the restaurant will be making in the next few months.
Best Bloody Mary ever. Best biscuits. Great brunch joint
Glad the six of us made it before they close for renovations. Great service. Good food. My short ribs were a little on the dry side, but tasty nevertheless.
I had not been to Horseradish Grill in several years but will certainly be going back very soon. What a lovely gem of a restaurant! Highly recommend it.
Can't say enough complimentary words about this restaurant. The menu is creative with a blending of choices, yet remains true to the Southern palette. Good wait staff who don't interrupt conversations or try to grandstand. Easy access, quiet place to talk. Yes, I recommend.
Took a baby with us. Very accommodating!
Excellent service and food. Great place to meet and visit with friends.
We arrived for our reservation promptly at 7 30 and were immediately seated.
Our attentive waiter took our dinner order after bringing our cocktails. My guest ordered the filet and I ordered the blacken grouper.
My guest requested her filet to be cooked "medium/medium rare." When served, it had no pink showing in the middle. Sent it back. The next one came out browned on the outside and raw otherwise. Sent it back. The same filet was returned like the first one. Being hungry, she took two bites....we boxed it and took it home to the dogs.
I've been coming to HRG since the early 90s. I've been disappointed with a dining experience there, previously. Being New Years Eve, I waited a special time for us. It certainly turned out to be the opposite.
My wife and I had an early New Year's Eve dinner. Once again, we enjoyed our dinner, the service and ambiance. My strip steak was good, cooked to my specifications, while my wife's salmon dinner was delicious. Our wines were excellent, though on the pricey side. We have dined at Horseradish Grill a number of times and have never been disappointed.
Always welcoming. Food very good and service prompt and friendly. A neighborhood gem.
It’s Always a great time and great food, very good people!
Always good but there are more items than shown on the menu that we would have enjoyed.
Special Kudos to our Server, Alex. He was excellent! Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We were sorry to hear that you will be closed for remodeling in the near future; but looking forward to the 'new look'
We try to eat at the Horseradish Grill whenever we are in Atlanta. Brunch was great, egg white omelette was great, terrific Bloody Mary; steak and eggs also great! The best part of dining is the ambiance - what a beautiful room & setting!
Went for the first time mom a Friday night, super cute ambiance. The menu is nice with a variety, but the food was just okay, sorta pricey for the quality. We had the strip steak (was overcooked )and skillet fried chicken ((which is their signature dish). Also had the dessert, chocolate chess pie (which was just okay). Not sure I would go again, except for maybe an appetizer and drink at the bar.
One of our top favorite restaurants in town. Never a bad meal and the service from valet, hostess, waitrees/waiter, chef.... simply the BEST.
The Horseradish Grill is going to be renovated soon and we all wish... and pray... that the charm and history that makes it special today is NOT removed in the renovation. As far as we are concerned, there is NO need to renovate the space. Leave it just as it is!
I just hope the new owners are as friendly and welcoming as the present owner. Lunch and brunch are wonderful. Please, if you revamp the menu, keep the chicken livers! Great bartendress when we’ve been there.
Was special occasion. Made requests in notes. Obviously no one read or paid attention. Restaurant clearly overbooked Sat night. Food & service mediocre at best.
this restaurant is truly one of Atlanta's treasures - four of us gathered to celebrate a life long friendship among us - two of my friends had not been there, and were greatly pleased and impressed - one of whom had grown up in the neighborhood - we could not have chosen better my wife and I are eager to return - the valet parking team were also remarkable in exceeding the expectations we had re their service too
Tasteless food wiy
The a VERY noisy atmosphere. Won't go back.
I had not been to Horseradish Grill in over fifteen years, But it was a great reunion. The food was on point. The only thing that wasn’t a 10 out of 10, I thought, were the biscuits. Just a little bit dry and floury. But the fried okra appetizer, the salmon, and the roasted vegetables were all perfect. The hostess was fantastic. The waiter was good, but maybe not as funny as he thought he was. Ambience was great and not too noisy. I’m definitely looking forward to going again soon.
This restaurant has always been great! Have never had a bad experience there. Hope the new management and ambience is just as good!
Great as always. We hope the new owners will not ruin what has been a great and long lasting restaurant . Love the fried chicken, roll and raspberry jam,
Wonderful Thanksgiving at Horseradish Grill!!!
The food was good, but the service wasn’t as good as it’s been in the past. Friendly server, but delayed in getting drink orders, pouring wine (bucket was not within reach), bringing out bread, and check.
Very cozy and the food was outstanding. We will definitely go again
We enjoyed our lunch and were very impressed with the charm and service of our great waiter.
Just a perfect place. We always forget it about it but will come back more often.
Great food and service!
Service was very poor. Slowest
The food, service, and ambience at the Horseradish Grill are all noteworthy. However, the last two times I have been there, which have been about five months apart, they have not been able to serve iced tea. This may sound trivial, but if you live in Atlanta you need your iced tea.
Our waitress made this experience the best - recommendations and knowledge.
