Horseradish Grill - Buckhead
Book your next event with us
Found this restaurant with the Atlanta Dining Passport book. What a great spot! Peter was our server and did a great job. Food was great. Portions really big, had enough to take home with us. We will definitely be back!
Phenomenal date night with my daughter. We loved the ambiance and food was amazing.
Great service and food.
Great date night for two couples who love good food and a chance to catch up with each other. We count on this restaurant, always excellent. We’ll be back!
Food was terrible. Ambiance nice. Easy parking and great location, but overall, not impressed.
We had a great evening with friends , wonderful pecan pie for dessert !
Took my parents for their 60th Anniversary, and it was a great choice!
Great food and wonderful service!
We always enjoy our eating experience at Horseradish Grill. It is fun to sit in the garden on warm evenings and when cool the grill is so cozy.
It was by dad’s birthday and, unfortunately, the whole meal wasn’t a great experience. It took the server 15 minutes before she even realized we’d been sat and that’s after I said something to the hostess stand. We ordered drinks about 5-6 minutes before she took our appetizer order and we got the appetizer first if that’s telling you how the timing was going. We were almost done with the appetizer when the drinks came and we said we wanted to order. From ordering until when the food hit the table it was 45-50 minutes and tables who had sat after us were finishing their meal. The food was just ok which is unfortunate because it’s normally really good. Finally I pulled the manager and told him everything that had happened. You can tell that Beth, our server, got a pretty stern talking to because she was incredible curt and rude the rest of the meal. As someone who used to wait tables at a 5 star restaurant, her behavior was really not appropriate. You could tell she was mad we complained.
HG is usually a great spot but this experience was really unfortunate... especially since it was my dad’s birthday.
Very disappointing... place was not crowded yet took over 45 minutes to get food which was not even hot when served. Needs an overhaul and better management.
The restaurant had no record of our reservation through open table. We were seated reluctantly by the hostess on the bar area.
I never understand it when the waitperson says, “We had a big group last night, and we out of ....”. My thought is there is a grocery store nearby - even Costco or Sam’s Club! There is no reason to be out of Michelob Ultra, or any other staple that is easily purchased!
Love the setting.
Dinner was great. Best part of the evening was our server, Chris. Even chased us down the street after we left to return a forgotten credit card! Made our evening! Thanks, Chris.
Wonderful time and fantastic food.
Had a nice luncheon with friends. It was not too busy and we had a nice comfortable booth. Our waiter was very Good and attentive. We had the luxury to spend about 2.5 hrs there. Food was excellent and the valet attendant was so gracious and took several pictures of us. The hamburgers, fries and chop salad were delicious. All of us live about an hour away but wld go there again.
We sat outside on the patio and it was such a lovely space. Our server was excellent and our food was so delicious! I had the lamb chops and they may have been the best I’ve ever eaten. That’s saying a lot because we eat out a lot. My husband had the blackened grouper and loved it! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
It had been several years since we last dined at Horseradish Grill, and we realized how much we missed it. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. Our server Alex took excellent care of us. He let us taste the glasses of wine that we wound up drinking. My salmon entree was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his prime rib entree. We both took part of our meals home so we could split the delicious oatmeal spice cake for dessert.
Service was exceptional! My husband and and I had a nice table in the corner. It was our first time there, and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.
We had brunch outside on the patio. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and the ambience was perfect. We had the roasted pork hash, eggs Benedict, and their incredible homemade from scratch biscuits with homemade jam.
Would recommend to anyone!
It was a lovely evening out for a special occasion. Fabulous service, very good food, and an understated elegant ambiance to this restaurant! It was a joy!
This has been a favorite for year's and is still holding true to Quality, Service, and comfort. Some of the Old favorites on the menu as well as nice updated additions keep calling us back. The well stock bar with a great variety of Bourbons is fun and exciting to try something different and new.
All was very enjoyable again for us & our out of town guests.
Good job see you again soon!
My experience was a huge disappointment.
It is a very pretty rustic and expensive restaurant. My waiter was sweet but anxious and I needed to ask him to calm down. We spoke of the kind of cocktail I would enjoy . He recommended the Bourbon mule . I told him I did not like root beer. He said I would love it .. so I said ok. It arrived , I took one sip it was pure root beer .. I sent it back . The crab & shrimp hush puppies were dry . The Creaser salad c-.. everything else was fine .. but not A+ as advertised.
There are great restaurants in Buck Head and downtown Atlanta.. sadly this is not one of them . Skip
Excellent food and service. Quiet evening with few customers so made for a pleasant, casual time for some easy conversation.
Great food and service.
Excellent atmosphere and excellent food!!
Perfect for date night!!!
Love the quaint neighborhood atmosphere. Good food. Will come again soon.
Been a while since I had been here. Very good, unpretentious service, and the prime rib and grouper dinners were of pleasing quality. Was disappointed that they would not consider swapping the mashed potato side that we did not want for a non-starch side. It did not seem crowded that night, and
a spoonful of spinach or something else would have enhanced the dinner experience. But the customer
is not in charge here!!
We had Sunday brunch. Biscuits in bread basket were dry. I ordered pork chop temperature well. It was served with the perimeter medium and the rest was rare. It was fatty and overly salty.
My husband commented that the clam chowder tasted very “fishy” to him. I did not have the same reaction, though later I felt somewhat ill.. Overall the food was not what I had come to expect from Horseradish based on my past experiences. It was my husband’s first time and he does not want to return.
Our server was attentive and helpful.
Great service. Excellent food. Wonderful environment and ambience.
Food is solid, but not anything to write home about. Server had a couple memory lapses, which to his credit he owned, but it did impact the overall experience.
We love this restaurant !! The food is so incredible . The service is spot on. The neighborhood feel keeps us coming back.
Always solid. Love this place. Great atmosphere, particularly for out of town guests.
Like an old friend, dining at Horseradish Grill is inviting and rewarding. The occasion was a birthday celebration for a friend who had not dined at Horseradish Grill. He was delighted with my choice and will be returning.
Neighborhood southern style restaurant right next to Chastain Park.
Haven't been here in years as we moved away from Atlanta. Enjoyed being back and dining at HG. Always enjoyed the food and was not disappointed this last visit!
Years ago was Red barn , now horseradish great place Good food , service great and the best thing is the wine list just right.
We’ll be back soon .
Perfectly fine restaurant, although menu is a bit dated and decor even more so. I understand this will all change in 2020 when the new owners will update everything - especially the bathrooms!
