The Horse and Carriage is a great family restaurant. It does not have the notoriety or ambiance of some chains like Davies or the Capital Grill. What it offers is good food served by a friendly staff at reasonable prices. The Prime Rib was tender and delicious, the swordfish was great as well. This local gem is great for families and friends who enjoy good food.

We had a great meal with very generous portions. My girlfriend loved the Swordfish Piccata and I thought the Prime Rib was great. Our waitress was very nice with just the perfect balance of attentiveness.

First time back since COVID (we have been doing take out here for a while!) Amazed by the safety protocols in place. All servers have masks, disinfecting tables, booth separators, etc Food was excellent as usual! We will be back soon!!

We were initially seated at a table we didn't care for ( too cold ) we were moved without a problem to a better table. We were greeted and served by an excellent waitress , Gail. I highly recommend her. We had to wait a bit for our entrees because kitchen was getting slammed, which is understandable. It wasn't a problem as our apps were out quickly and we enjoyed them. When entrees came they were great, overall a great experience!!

We were seated in a booth in the second room, which was comfortable but had less ambience and lacked the partitions between booths that the front room offers. The restaurant was offering a free appetizer or dessert per table that evening and we tried the stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious. We both ordered the Duck L’orange, which was excellent - tender and crispy. The service was also excellent.

Was a great time. We were impressed with the employees, food options were great. The prime rib was fantastic had leftovers and having them today. We were not rushed. Will return back to the Horse & Carriage.
