Great food, great service, good drinks, good music!!
Good beer selection. Food was very good. Personable service.
The food was incredible and the ambience is modern and fun with a fabulous back patio dining option. Unfortunately for us, although our server himself was great, they were very understaffed so it was extremely slow service.
Loved the place - the prices for the club sandwich & pizza was a wee bit high but tasty - and we were with friends so, all was good, anyway.
Been a Hoppy fan for years, and was very underwhelmed. Service for crazy slow, as was food. Steak and burger were very over cooked as was my son's pizza. The person (not our waitress) who delivered the pizza immediately said it wasn't right and too burnt and they were already making a new one. Water comes in tiny glasses, instead of normal pint glasses. Love the new location, but pricey food for quality.
The staff was extremely attentive and very nice. The pizza was great. Loved sitting in the back patio area. Very quiet and private setting.
Positives. Food was tasty and came in good portions.
Bummers. Overall service was poor. Front desk left me on hold for ten minutes, then I hung up and called back, front desk told me it wasn't busy at all and we could move our reservation back. Wait staff not knowledgeable about menu. Took drink order, came back told us they were out of that drink. Took our food order and came back and told us that meal wasn't available. 1 of 3 dessert on the menu, not available.
Wouldn't go back personally.
The restaurant is very clean, well decorated and up to date. They have a very large beer and wine selection, which was good. The food was only fair, I had a chicken sandwich that was on a regular bun that they called brioche. It came with home made chips; it was about $15. It is pricey for the food, but it is in a touristy area of a big city. Service was fair. The host was friendly and helpful, but the waiter was not very helpful, distracted by other things and we waited a very long time for food when the place was not busy. Wouldn’t recommend based on food quality for price.
Great food and incredible happy hour specials. The patio is really nice, but the service was a little slow.
It was a horrible experience, the food was okay at best, the chef audibly said as we walked by, “I don’t know what I’m doing...” - to the manager; after we waited 45 minutes for two dishes to come out after the first set of dishes was late. It was comical how much a horrendous brunch service they were having. The patio is beautiful though.
Food was excellent. Desserts were amazing. Very family friendly. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
Overall, we had a horrible experience. They forgot to cook all the meals ordered and when that was realized, they did nothing to hurry up the process. My friends had to take their orders to go after sitting there 1 1/2 hrs. The place wasn’t busy at all, they just didn’t care. Drinks were ordered on multiple occasions with half an order arriving while the other half had to ordered again. A second round of drinks was ordered and they straight up just never came. Don’t waste your time or your money, go somewhere else.
Service was slow.
Hoppy’s Railyard Kitchen in Old Town is a wonderful place to grab brunch & drinks. The ambiance is modern, with an open kitchen and giant bar inside the one hundred year old building. There is lot of seating both inside and outside (front patio and a giant beer garden out back) of the restaurant. They are kid friendly and have a lot of choices on the kid’s menus. The service is excellent, from the hostesses to the server, chef and cooks. We will definitely return here next time we are in OldTown Sacramento, especially since it’s around the corner from the train museum.
Great selection of beers! Highly suggest getting flight if you aren’t sure. The Poke is super yummy!!
Great service and fiod!
Beer has gone down and food needs improving. Hope it works for them.
It was nice. We were able to get a LARGE party into a nice restaurant in Old Sac on short. Can’t beat that. Food was good, service was good and it was a nice place that wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t talk. Everybody was happy with our choice to go there.
server Jay was great. Went before a concert at Golden One and worked out great. Happy hour prices reasonable.
