   We were completely blown away at how wonderful the whole experience was. Definitely our favorite winery! We accidentally showed on the wrong day, instead of turning us away Richard still went out of his way to make it a wonderful experience. Wonderful food and wine. Can't wait to go back!

   Overall not a good value (at $100 a person) and would not recommend as a tasting experience. This was hands-down the worst experience compared to of all the other vineyards we went to over several days.

   Hoopes is an adorable and very unique vineyard and tasting experience. I absolutely loved it. As soon as my boyfriend and I pulled up we were greeted and welcomed with a glass of their rosé and seated on the patio where you can take in all the action of the super cute animals they have on at their sanctuary. We arrived just before feeding time and it was hilarious to watch the one pig chase all the chickens and other pigs around the pen in excitement. The tasting options are different than most: essentially you have a “tab” of $100 per person to spend and they have a menu with wine options, bites of food, swag like shirts and bags, and some other goodies. The wine is served in tiny bottles that you can easily get 2-4 glasses out of depending on your pour size. Wine was delicious! I loved their Chardonnay from the steel barrels and the Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. We also got a crudités board made with root vegetables from their garden and tried some candy cane figs right off the tree. The staff is very friendly and it felt more like a hangout with friends than a typical tasting, because while they do explain the wine, they don’t hover over you or pressure you to purchase anything. It was a great way to end our trip to Napa!

   Super cool + quaint tasting room with beautiful grounds to explore. Checking out the animal sanctuary and wandering the garden was such an added bonus to enjoying their mini bottles of wine. It was the perfect wrap to a weekend of wine tasting, even on a dreary day.

   Had the best experience here! Richard was a fantastic host and Lindsay the owner was so gracious and sat and talked with us for a while too! The animals are so cute and the space is just beautiful. I can’t wait to go back with other friends.

   We had a wonderful time! We got to see the animals and the beautiful gardens. The service was amazing and the wine was delicious. Their rose is awesome!!!! The atmosphere is so welcoming! My favorite so far!

   This was our first visit to Hoopes and the whole experience is amazing! Great staff, really good wine and the garden and animals were a huge hit. We will definitely be back Thank you!

   The bill is confusing, expensive for the quality of experience you get. You can have much better experiences from other wineries with the tag price they have.

    Not a restaurant as we did not get any food. Very expensive wine without a high-end experience for the price. Very DIY
