   Horrible service, hostess was very rude. Wait time for everything even to get our check and pay was ridiculous. Horrible we won't go back! Waste of time and money!!

   The quesadilla could use a little more cheese. Ours was a bit skimpy. The staff is friendly and efficient. The trivia is always great on Wednesdays.

   The wings were pretty tasteless. We did not finish them. The Irish egg rolls were smaller than described by the server. They also had very little taste. Will not return.

    It was a fantastic time to be at Hooley and see and enjoy The New Barleycorn. We will be back for our normal monthly dinner and a wonderful time and enjoy good food and have a couple cocktails.

    Waitress was friendly & food was fantastic! Only complaint I had was we were out with another couple and their food came out before ours and they felt bad eating when we didn’t have ours so theirs got a little food sitting there (we did tell them to eat).     Our time at Hooley Westlake was the best. We were there for our monthly dinner and 2 of our ladies birthdays that were celebrated greatly by the manager (I forget her name) and server Jameson. It was a great experience and we will be back. Thank you all

    Only 3 people at the bar and we were one of two tables in the whole place at 6:30 PM on Sunday. House chips were so so stale and server never came back after food delivered. Have no idea where she was at the whole time. Not taking care of other tables for sure. Walked out of there with sticky shoes although I never even went in bathroom. Never again….no wonder no one was there.

    We usually enjoy Hooley House. This day was strange. It took 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us after we walked in. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Food order took 45 minutes. Food was good and hot. They were short staffed due to calloffs. The servers were new hires. The manager and additional help arrived and immediately got things moving. The manager comped our entire meal for 3.

    Trivia is a blast, a little hard to hear sometimes but it's the perfect length and great variety of questions. Service was very good - our waitress was handling a lot of tables but still managed to check in fairly regularly and kept us "hydrated." The food is your weak point - tots other menu items need attention (examples: fried fish not much taste, corned beef generous but soggy bread and average quality meat, shepherds pie generous serving needs more veggies.) We'll come back for the Trivia alone!

    Had a great night out at Westlake's Hooley House. Our waitress "T" was terrific and very personable. Ordered appetizers- they were out of pizzas. Cheese curds were luke warm, the Bavarian pretzel was good. Drinks were good even though the bartenders were a bit backed up. Recommend for a fun, casual night out.

    Overall, a good place to eat. Even though we booked through Open Table and they had our reservation, they initially did not have a table for us. They quickly rectified that. Food good, service average at best. Environment was energetic.

    It’s a great sports bar; has booths, bar and tables. Great service. Band was starting at 8:30. Has Irish food and great fish, good burgers and a really good Black Bean burger.

    I reserved a table... forgot to say no booth, where I was stuck. Lobster bisque looked and tasted like tomato bisque..... Irish stew was Irish soup... no meat or potato pieces found. Server Angie was the saving grace.... an awesome lady. VERY disappointed with this visit. Been there many times before with outstanding experience. Not last night.

    My wife and I have dined at this Hooley House before and have enjoyed the experience. However, this time was extremely disappointing. We arrived for our reservation and was shown to a table very quickly. After being seated, the host told us that the kitchen was behind and we could expect it to take a while for food to be served. Since it was a date night, and we were looking forward to a relaxing evening out, this was not a problem. If fact, I joked with the host that it wouldn’t be a problem as long as the bar still had draft beer available. During the next 30 minutes we had servers pass by our table, and the host stopped at the table next to us if everything was OK. However, during that entire time not one person even acknowledged our presence, never the less asked if we would like to order something to drink, etc. Not even somebody saying someone will be along shortly. Just no contact at all by any staff member. After 30 minutes my wife and I left the restaurant and went somewhere else. Nobody said anything or acknowledged our leaving. I have enjoyed dining at Hooley House in the past, but odds are very good that I will not dine there again. There are plenty of alternatives within a very short distance and this experience was extremely disappointing.
