Hoof Hearted Brewery and Kitchen
Long wait, out of OJ for brunch, but food was good with friendly (but slow) service
Great food - beautiful presentation. Try the breakfast nachos or veggie hash. Sit outside - enjoy!
We had a blast eating at hoof hearted during our weekend getaway to Columbus. Food and decor were excellent and the beer is top notch! Only complaint is their retail beer selection was limited, and we didn’t want to get a growler due to leaving the next day. Overall - it was a great experience!
Love their beer!
An amazing Gastropub- fare that you can’t get anywhere else! Alligator bitez, cajun duck- both delicious. A party in your mouth!
It was fine, except the main course came out too early while we were still finishing our app and salad.
While the food and beer were very good, the prices were a bit on the high side and it was extremely noisy. I would still go back, but likely just for the beer.
We went for a bachelor/bachelorette dinner with 12 guests. The staff was extremely courteous, thorough, attentive and had the best personalities. Every meal and appetizer we had was delicious! We 10/10 recommend!!
Family dinner before sons headed off to college. Great time
This is a fun space with very good food and an interesting menu. The service was very friendly and helpful. Like so many newer restaurants and pubs, it is extremely loud and for people who are no longer young, it is very hard to enjoy a conversation. We probably would not go back unless we could sit on the patio outside. This seems to be a growing trend that is a universal complaint of everyone middle age and above. I suppose restaurants do this for a reason but it limits where we are willing to dine out.
We arrived to find a “seat yourself” sign. Obviously no reservations required so Im not sure the purpose of the open table function. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before someone came over (they were not busy), right about the time limit for getting up and walking out. The staff seemed to be bothered by simple requests like a napkin. The beer was very good but hardly worth the service.
My initial impression was a little bit of a cold vibe with the decor, but that was soon overturned by the really friendly and helpful server/bartender. To be fair, we were there on a Sunday late evening and so the spirit of the place was low key. However, the food (wings, and taco quarto) was perfectly spiced and delicious. The beer was also very good. I have no complaints.
Great beer great service!
Awesome brunch! Loved everything we had especially the French toast!!!
We went for brunch with out of town visitors. The food was unique and delicious. They both loved the music ...
I was there on a busy day, and they were out of several things. I don't know if they were trying to ration what was left, but some of us had very small portions, and others had heaping helpings. I also found the beer selection limited and strange. It's all fruity, and I prefer beer that isn't fruit flavored. The inside of the restaurant is very cool looking, but it's extremely loud. Overall, I was disappointed in the experience, and can find better value elsewhere. However, the employees were kind and attentive!
The food was ah-maz-ing! Flight of beers was tasty. As a brunch selection, it was a great choice having not heard of it before. We highly recommend checking it out. And getting a table reserved with short notice on Open Table was easy and beneficial especially as we were asked upon arrival of we had a rez. 🙂
We love going to different places for brunch on the weekends. We chose Hoof Hearted for Father's Day, and it did not disappoint. They were busy so service was slow, but they did keep apologizing about the wait. The food was hands down the best! I try French Toast wherever I go, and they have the best. Amazing food, great place. Definitely did not disappoint.
An amazing experience! Great staff and menu👍🏽
The seating at the patio tables outside wasn’t sturdy. Hurt myself a bit getting off of it.
Waitress was nice but took a long time to check on us; service very slow.
Repeated what I wanted for my order 3x and it still came back wrong. Didn’t comp it just added more fries.
The smoking is a big turnoff. People should have a designated area, away from people who are eating. We asked for a manager and they never came.
We did the best with what we could, considering it was my birthday weekend celebration.
Honesty, will not be back. Just is not worth it for the pricing, limited menu and slow service.
Gotta try that breakfast burrito, very good!
We love Michael!
One of the best branches in Columbus! We both loved ours. Brunch cocktails were awesome too, definitely recommend
Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. They take pride in everything they serve. Can’t wait to go back.
We enjoyed our meal. They were out of two beers, and wings. Wasn’t the end of the world but was disappointing. Our server was attentive considering it was a bar on a Saturday night. We enjoyed our visit.
Love this place. They always have creative, delicious food.
Hoof Hearted always has unique (and delicious!) food and beer options. And, their service during our recent visit was OUTSTANDING. Perfect for a night out or brunch with the family.
The menu was unique and everything I tried was good. The beer selection was fun and interesting.
Love Hoof Hearted! Awesome patio, great food and drinks and our server was the sweetest! She was so knowledgeable about the food and drinks too.
The brunch menu was excellent.
Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Kind of a buzzard menu. Beer was ok. Ordered simple things with simple requests which were messed up. Water was refilled once despite being empty for majority of time there. Table was so small there was no room for entrée and appetizer. They don’t have ranch??? Odd. Prolly won’t got back.
Great for our big group of 10!
