Spectacular good and drink with more than incredible views. Caesar salad is to die for. You’d think a salad is just a salad. But theirs is super. Mahi mahi dori style is fantastic. Servers are genuine and lovely.

We’ve been to Honu about half a dozen times in the last year. It quickly became our very favorite restaurant while in Maui. This trip to Maui has been no exception. The food is always beautifully consistent and totally delicious, and the bar program is completely on point. The staff is attentive without being in any way overbearing. Tonight we took our server, Kayla’s, advice and tried the crab Louie salad and one of their pizzas. Both were fantastic! Pam (gm) is sailing her ship beautifully

Our first time at Honu was amazing! We started with drinks and the ahi meatballs which were meaty and filling! I had the seafood scampi and my wife had the Italian sausage pizza and we thoroughly enjoyed both! We will definitely stop here again next time we are in Maui! Mahalo!

Very attentive service. We were seated promptly upon arrival to a table in the patio with nice sunset views. However it started to rain and the server (Megan) immediately moved us to table inside where we can stay dry. The restaurant manager also came to greet us to make sure everything is u to our expectations. We ordered the Crab Louie salad, Margarite pizza, and Fish and Chips. Dessert we had the pineapple pie, and chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious. This is one of our favorite restaurants in west Maui.

Great spot to take in the sunset. Appreciated getting a notice in advance that the outdoor section would be closed due to weather but pleasantly surprised that they opened it when the weather cleared up. Wonderful service and food.

We have dined at Honu about half a dozen times over the last year or so. Every time is just as phenomenal as the last. The staff is friendly and attentive, without being at all overbearing. We have never felt rushed, as we have at other establishments. The quality of the food is spectacular, and consistently so! The bar program is also fabulous. The atmosphere and ambience are totally spot on!! Turtles and whales and waves for days. This is our very favorite place in west Maui-unpretentious, completely reliable, friendly and gorgeous! What more could you want? Do yourself a favor, book a reservation!

I was a little apprehensive with new ownership but so happy that everything was great. Fresh new look, enough of Mark’s old dishes but new dishes as well. Marya was a familiar face and excellent server. Manager stopping by was a great touch as well. Honu will remain a favorite. Servings were plentiful. Everyone in my party was very satisfied including our parents who live in Lahaina. A great night all around.

Daniel, our server, was fantastic. Efficient, friendly and there when you needed him. The hostess, not so much. She Refused to let us wait for a window table. The food did not disappoint. Next time I’ll eat at Mala.

Honu used to be one of our go-to spots! While the food is still great, the drinks were not the best, and we miss their signature fried chickpeas! The prices were a little high compared to comparable restaurants. One undeniable plus is their Coconut Banana Pie! Yumm!

We scored a waterside table where got to see a couple of sea turtles in the surf. My wife had a dirty martini with blue cheese olives that she liked very much. We had the ahi meatballs in a rich tomato sauce to start. We had the snapper special which included two scallops and I had the divers scallops. Both were excellent. We had a bottle Rombauer Chardonnay which paired well with our selections. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience as always.
