We had a few different food allergies at our table, but the waiter and chef were incredibly accommodating and respectful of the varied restrictions we had. They made certain modifications, but never sacrificed flavor. We all loved our meals. A truly skilled chef and dedicated wait staff.

It was a rainy Thursday night, so not exactly the liveliest of evenings, and my intention was to treat my wife to a nice, romantic dinner. Great service, tasty food, but unless you’re under the eclectic ceiling in the middle region by the bar, it felt as if I was in someone’s oversized living room. But, again, there were barely any other patrons. Cheers!

For the first part of the evening, there were very few people eating, so the place was very quiet. At 8 pm, a large group came and the noise was horrible. We should have been seated elsewhere. Truly remarkable was the service provided by our waiter, Greg. The food was outstanding, albeit pricey.

We were very disappointed with this restaurant for many reasons. We visited on a Saturday at 8 pm. The restaurant was empty. There were only two tables occupied including ours. Oh, and there were two people at the bar. It felt very weird. We ordered two appetizers, two main dishes and an appetizer. The food was mediocre to bad! The veal starter was so stringy that the knife couldn’t cut it. The only positive experience was our wonderful server. This is not an upscale restaurant.

I thought the veal was the best fare between everything my wife and I ordered. However, the veal had a little bit of white shoe string tendon running through it and it was a little chewy? All in all it was good I just had higher expectations for a restaurant that received a recent Michelin star rating. I thought maybe the flavor pairings were too complex. I realize that the chef was demonstrating his culinary diversity. However, the blueberries in my Filet seemed a little bit of a reach. That caused my palate to decipher and think instead of relax and enjoy. Decipher and think is good as long as the result is an overwhelming wow. Conversely, when it an ok it makes me wonder if we are selling pedigree or repeat business. The dessert menu was also too complicated in my opinion. Everyone doesn't want cigarette ice cream sometimes we just want something a little more straight forward. I'm not saying revamp your dreams rather, don't forget about the less cultured palates as we may be your customers too. Nice location, nice vibe, service was pretty great.

Solo dining. Late 130 lunch. Needed a quiet place to get away with a laptop as I had work to do. Gracious hostess seated me in the far back and near a power outlet. Had the $17 entree special which included a glass of wine. Superfood Char entree was delicious and filled with healthy vegetables. Beautiful interior.

The fried chicken sandwich and the truffle fries were delicious! The sandwich's bursting flavor profile was delectably unique, with crispy yet tender chicken. Definitely would go back to eat it again. A bit on the pricier side though.

Four of went to celebrate a birthday. We thought the restaurant was participating in the extension of restaurant week. It turns out they were not participating, but the manager said he would honor it to the best of their abilities since they weren't carrying all of the same ingredients. We had a delicious meal and our server was very attentive. It was a lovely experience.

Food was delicious - definitely be adventurous with the appetizers, the surprises are worth it. Some of the portions definitely make it where you need to do multiple courses, though. Strongly recommend the duck as well as the dark chocolate dessert. Pecan pie is good, but very rich. Service was exceptional. The banana bread as the free bread option was a nice touch - never would've thought to put blueberry jam on banana breaad!

I recall this spot as Jacqueline’s and Vidalia. Honeysuckle was not very crowded probably due to the government shutdown. The wait staff were not as attentive as we needed. No person came to ask if we needed water re-filled, we asked twice. No person asked if we would like coffee/tea after our meal. We had to ask. There was no question as to how we enjoyed ourselves. The banana bread was delicious. We had less than a teaspoon of the jelly which was not enough. I ordered pork cheeks as an appetizer and asked if there was sheep’s cheese in the grits. The waiter said there was not. There was. The short ribs were flavorful, tender as they are at numerous other restaurants. My friend ordered the salad which we split. I had one leaf which was it for me. I didn’t find it flavorful. Her trout was tasty. The pecan pie was rich and the chocolate mousse was dark chocolate which she enjoyed. I ordered green tea. It was a bag which the waiter put into a press. That was unusual. We did not know it was restaurant week, so maybe that it why the place and meal were only ok for a Michelin mentioned restaurant.

The food was good but the service was horrible. I was so excited to share this restaurant with a colleague after having celebrated my engagement here and having a wonderful experience. We spoke with someone after our meal about our disappointing service and was given the excuse that someone called in sick. No apology, only excuses. The experience was frustrating enough the neither of us will be returning.

The food was truly inspired. Kudos to the chef. We had the Char, duck confirm, grits and grillades, pastrami styles salmon(this was really creative and delish), pecan pie(traditional and perfect in it's simplicity), the mousse was tasty but there were a lot of elements in this dessert and it was less entertaining_ still yummy. Off thing - everything except the pie was served in a bowl. This was the one detraction from the function of eating the food. Sometimes the plate is easier to work with and more inviting to the eye/hand/palate. Great food. Great ambiance, super nice and informed staff.

My friends and I went for Restaurant Week and what a wonderful value for your money! The chef did not skimp in the slightest with portion sizes, and we enjoyed such a wonderful sampling of many of Honeysuckle's signature dishes. We Pastrami Smoked Salmon appetizer was a huge portion and absolutely divine. And the Arctic Char was grilled to perfection. We will be back!

WE HAD GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS RESTAURANT BASED ON THE REVIEWS. We were more than disappointed. The service ruined any pleasure we might have gotten from the fare. The first waiter we had was indifferent at best. When the amuse came, it was dropped on the table with barely a mention of what it was, along with a basket of bread that hardly seemed suitable for dinner - banana bread? From the ceasar salad that was not cut, had no lemon or anchovy flavor and seemed to be drenched in a mayo/sourcream mixture, to the pork belly that was 50% inedible fat, Honeysuckly was a study in how NOT to run a restaurant. I'm sorry chef, despite the Michelin star, I could not get past the dour and unprofessional waitstaff.
