   We had a wonderful time… tasted all of the items on the menu and enjoyed all of them, the food was delicious, beautifully presented and very different! The environment and service was warm, welcoming and gracious. Drinks were delicious and innovative and both traditional and non alcoholic available. The space was beautiful.

   My first visit to the newly opened Honeysuckle on North Broad (having visited their former West Philly storefront/resto several times in the past). Omar Tate and Cybille St. Aude-Tate are two of the most creative chefs in Philadelphia, in the country, and I would follow them anywhere. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious--very tasty, using fresh, local ingredients, incorporating the chefs' lived experiences in Philly and as a Haitian-American, and true culinary artistry. I enjoyed the Akra, the Haitian Spaghetti, grilled chicken and collards, and the Haitian chocolate tarte. They are using a prix fixe model ($95 for four courses) which offers several selections for each course. Honeysuckle now has a liquor license and has a great bar (which will be a great place for a nightcap after a jazz gig at South, across the street) featuring tasty cocktails with Caribbean flavors/ingredients . The wine list could use some expansion (they are trying to support local purveyors), but it is nice to have this offering. The service is outstanding--very professional, well trained, friendly familiar faces from West Philly. The atmosphere is very cool and warm at the same time--modern, wood baffling, great art work, grounded, friendly vibe. Tables are well spaced and were all full on a Saturday night (50+ guests, instead of the dozen or so at the "Untitled" dinners). Good buzz. Honeysuckle 2.0 is a great addition to Philadelphia and the scene building around the 600 North Broad block (and easier to reach from Center City). Looking forward to my next exploration.

   A really amazing restaurant. The menu is creative, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are some of the best in the city.

   I am a Honeysuckle provisions fan girl and have counted down the days for the opening of their fine dining restaurant. This place is incredibly special, every item on the menu is delicious and innovative and often a flavor you rarely encounter because of their dedication. You can tell they nerded out on culture in the best way. The pottery is handmade modern art and so cool. The cocktails are beautiful and fantastic. They are working out the kinks service wise of running this ambitious production and I know they will get there. Please be patient with them if the timing isn’t clockwork. The servers had fun little things to say about the courses and are friendly, lovely people.

   One of the best food experiences I have EVER had. HONEYSUCKLE is special. Also, both MCDONALD’S & $PAY4HAITI are SPLENDID dishes. Make sure you get both of those.

   Cybille and Omar have done it again! Making delicious sandwich shop food in West Philly to developing a decadent full service restaurant right on Broad Street is no easy task. Their front of house team was a delight to engage with, and the kitchen is obviously doing their thing! They meet and exceed expectations and hopes with this beautifully executed menu. Flavours, textures, portions and drink pairings are ON POINT! There is a cultural and culinary point of view, and myself and my partner call it nostalgia. Black food, African Diasporic fare… family, heritage, history. This is a homecoming. And a welcoming for those that know good food from a broader perspective, meats cooked to perfection, sauces that are sumptuous, well designated smokiness, umami everywhere. Damn good meal from start to finish.

   The hostesses and servers were incredible—kind, knowledgeable, responsive. The food was unbelievable. The add-on burger was probably not worth it, as the truffle did not have much flavor and the caviar was overpowering. Unfortunately, the kitchen was incredibly slow. We left the restaurant after 3.5 hours, which included having our dessert and dinner side dishes boxed up to go before even reaching the table because we could not sit there any longer. While the free champagne because of the long wait was appreciated, we would not return unless hearing of an improvement in efficiency.

    We visited during their first week open and were incredibly impressed. The level of service, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness in every part of the dining experience truly stood out. From the glassware and ice type to the vessels each dish was served in, nothing was overlooked. What’s even more impressive is how much of the menu is sourced directly from their farm, locally, or foraged—it adds a layer of care and intentionality you can really taste. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get the McDonald’s money—but we did, and it was amazing. The akra was beautifully done, with just the right kick of heat at the end. And the preparation of oysters was unique and unexpected in the best way. We’re already planning to go back to try more of what we missed.
