Honey Salt - Parq Vancouver
We were disappointed since we didn’t realize that the dine-out lunch menu was not available during the weekend. Our server was amazing and the food was too
Excellent place to go for a brunch with your friends. Try the avocado toast, it is like heaven!
We liked the food and the cappuccino was nice and warm until the last sip! We wished the overall service was a bit smoother which would have added to the ambience.
Had a wonderful time everyone was friendly and helpful . My server was very knowledgeable with the menu recommended some wonderful dishes .
Cute modern atmosphere with a fairly diverse menu. Great service.
My sisters birthday celebration before the Canucks hockey game. Everything was wonderful
I had gone there once before for dinner. We weren’t impressed with the menu or foods first time. But I decided to go once again because my friend and I wanted to catch up between some casino fun. I ordered a Dungeness crab salad. It was so mediocre, very little tomatoes. Crab was okay. Lettuce was sparse with very little dressing. A few boiled potatoes thrown in. I was hungry so quickly. It was such a sad looking salad. Totally NOT worth $19.
I don’t think I will ever eat here again.
Service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Went after the hockey game and was not too busy. Nice decor and comfortable seating. Casino is right next door.
I was there for their afternoon tea. The service was a bit slower than I expected and the food seems to be average. My friend and I felt that there were not enough savory dishes on the afternoon tea set as the sweet ones were really sweet for our liking. The taste otherwise is alright.
Great food and drinks selection.
Server was very accomodating with requests
Overall great experience
Will definitely come back
I came in with a small group for afternoon tea and cocktails. The waiter was nice but seemed to forget about our table as soon as he was done talking to us. We had to ask multiple times for things like sugar and drinks to be brought to the table. It was not busy which is why it was so disappointing to have our waiter MIA throughout the experience.
Food was good but service was very poor.
Parking is surprisingly reasonable, $5 for three hours. Restaurant is bright, pleasant, and not very noisy. Food is good but service needs improvements. Not very busy when we’re there but we had to wait for water, taking our order, clearing plates, taking our dessert order ... in fact when we finally got the attention of our server (intention was to ask for dessert menu), he handed us the bill without coming to ask what we want.
I’ll return for the food and hopefully get better service.
Came to have brunch but didn’t know it was only on weekends. Left disappointed because the menu was very limited to vegetarian options and brunch options.
Great food and excellent service. Was a little quieter to start but later on got more boisterous. Burgers were large and tasty. Mussels tender and juicy. Would definitely come again.
Food was excellent My new favorite POKE bowl in Vancouver. The ahi was fresh and delicious. the server was very helpful and engaging.
A poorly run operation with nice service staff. Food is ok, facility is beautiful.
We were there for afternoon tea which I’ve had there during the week before but when we got there they no longer serve it during the week but it doesn’t say anything on their website about it only being served on weekends now so it was a huge disappointment since we drove into town from The Valley.
Was recommended by a friend, outstanding. Will go back!
Our server was amazing! Food was delicious
Service was slow this time...that was the primary issue
Friendly staff at the check-in desk. They were willing to accommodate our request of our previously booked 7 pm reservation to 6 pm despite it being NYE. Food was tasty, with a nice presentation and came out in a timely manner. Our server appeared a bit distracted and was not that attentive. Had to ask the manager for a fill up of the pepper mill on our table. Very cosy, comfortable, homey dining environment.
This was our second visit to Honey Salt and we found it rather disappointing. The servers were friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty, but it took 50+ minutes from the time we ordered to when the food arrived and the restaurant wasn't even that busy when our order was taken. Other tables arrived after us and were served well before. We also found it quite pricey. On balance, I don't think we'll be going back when there is some much good competition locally.
Food and service were ok but got dinged $25 for parking. Unless staying at the hotel or in the area for an event I would try somewhere else.
This restaurant never fails to impress. Took my girlfriend here for her first trip outside of the states and the food, service, and overall experience were all top notch. I disagree with some menu changes but the service is what keeps me coming back. And that banana cake!
Good gluten free options. Good service and timed appropriately between ordering the appetizers and the main course
We went for my Birthday and really enjoyed the food and restaurant. Our server did not seem happy to have our table and not happy to be there. This did not effect our enjoyment of everything else though. He could have just been having a bad night. Great Blueberry Mojitos!!!
Great food, decent service. Definitely a more homely vibe and more welcoming of kids. Wouldn’t call this a romantic-choice for dates. Would definitely come again.
Love the atmosphere and overall presentation!
Not impressed - - with the holiday seasons, it shouldn’t be under staffed. So it’s frustrating to all your guests and your staffs who actually were trying their very best to accommodate all the guests, plus the manager’s demeanour doesn’t help because he looked more stressed out. The tall gentleman that helped me for my table preference for dinner was very efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, when back for dinner, the blonde hostess was rude and shouldn’t be at your hostess stand ever. She needs extensive training. I loved the ambience and food, so definitely coming back.
We have a great time in the restaurant for Christmas brunch. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious.
Celebrating Christmas morning with my family and we were kind of disappointed with the food. They seemed short in staff so it took a while for service. Food wasn’t all that great. The server was nice so that was a plus.
A Christmas Eve dinner. It was my first experience, the food was delicious, the decor is beautiful. The problem was with the service which was not up to scale. Our server apologized explaining that they were really short staff and trying to do his best. I hope that this was an exceptional situation and that Management will make note of it and correct the situation.
The food was very delicious. Service was excellent.
Great place. Food was rather bland for the price.
Wonderful service and food! We’ll definitely be back.
Despite being quite busy during a holiday weekend brunch service, we received great food and service from an amazing server and Management. Honey Salt has redeemed themselves after being invited back from a previous mediocre experience. We are pleased to be able to patronize and recommend a local business, especially being a neighbour from right across the street, making dining here so convenient. Merry Christmas to the team at Honey Salt!
Came for my birthday dinner. Found it to be a very sterile looking environment- the lighting feels like a hospital. My partner had the steak and enjoyed it. I had the fish and chips and did not enjoy the fish. No one asked at any point how our meal was. I was treated to a lovely birthday dessert which was very nice.
Great time out before the game!
