Honey Salt - Parq Vancouver
Good overall experience. Asked for steak medium raw and it was medium well-done... so that was $40 not well spend. But ambiance was good and my vegan friends were able to enjoy a wonderful meal, will return for sure.
We started with cocktails in the lounge and moved to the dining room. Service was OK in lounge but excellent in the dining room. I found the turkey meatball appetizer to be a little bit bland, but the macaroni and cheese and the short ribs were delicious.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The service was great. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Portions were great. None of us could finish our meals. We received a 15% discount as Parq is partnered with Cirque du Soleil which was the event we were attending following our meal.
Excelent as always. Consistent work and understanding of the client. Thank you
Really enjoyed the brunch, and the Mimosa and Caesar cart was a huge hit!! Incredible service!
The food quality has gone down while the prices have gone up
Service was very poor from the servers to the secondary helpers
We felt rushed out, we were given a bill without asking (we sat for 40min in total)
Great food snd when the bottle of wine I choose not available a better wine was suggested for same price. Best salmon I have had in years.
Delicious and fragrant good. My server was very thoughtful and attentive. I did go on a slower night but they are consistent as I have been to this restaurant multiple times.
They messed up two entrees, and a drink. One entree was completely over cooked and not edible and the other was missing a major component. The second martini was half the size it should have been.
Our waitress had no knowledge of anything on the menu, including the absolute fundamentals.
The “manager” told us she would review our bill and take care of the issues and all that happened was we were given 15% off only each entree? Bizarre customer service.
Not worth the trip.
It was great!
Love the food and interior design of the restaurant. Made for a lovely breakfast for my boyfriend and I.
We came to see the musical act, Tonye Aganaba.
Excellent atmosphere with just the right amount of space and noise level to have table conversation without being uncomfortable or having to shout.
Food was very good. All appetizers were outstanding. He shared many of the share plates and the Honey Salt Market plate was perfect for sharing and very tasty. One of the steaks was mentioned to be a bit “dry” but overall an excellent meal.
All of it was outstanding
Thank you for a wonderful evening
Outstanding Vegas feel restaurant. Great vibe, food, location and service.
I took my elderly mother here for dinner before a concert at Rogers. We both enjoyed the food and were able to chat without shouting. The service was great as there weren't many other people in the restaurant. It was a rainy Monday night and the Canadian election. Maybe that's why there weren't many others there. Good food+good service! Would go back. Thanks
Great date night restaurant lots of vegetarian and GF options. Delicious food and nice cocktails!
Decided to go there for a quick bite and drink on a Wednesday night before an event at Rogers arena. Sat down at 6:05pm, only food menu and no drink menu so we decided just to order food. Ordered two appts and two entrees (one appy was a soup and the other was a crab roll; didn’t think much prep was needed) at 6:10 and sat with our waters. Place had two big birthday parties and it was very loud. The table beside us came after us and got their crab roll before us and we wanted to leave around 7:00 to leave for the next venue. Our waiter didn’t come over to give us an update on the food and at 6:45 we had to flag her down to tell her we were leaving and had to cancel the order. I would think being in that location, some of the customers would be dining prior to an event and the food should be prompt (especially when it didn’t require much preparation). Disappointed to have to eat stadium instead.
Loved the eggs benedict and the breakfast potatoes are so crispy (as they should be)!
Turkey dinner was ok. Could of been better. Restaurant was nice and service was decent.
When Honey Salt first opened we had a bad experience, we were staying at the Parq and we tried to have breakfast, however they say that they don't take walk-ins, that you MUST have a reservation (and there were no other restaurants open in the hotel before lunch). Several months later, we stayed at the Douglas, and booked our Honey Salt reservation upon our booking. The food and service was really good, lots of options for people with different food preferences and/or allergies. Upon staying at the Douglas again, we again decided to book Honey Salt, even tho The Victor now serves brunch too. Disappointing. The server was horrible. Didn't write down the drink orders, forgot what flavor tea, and completely forgot the juice. The menu is completely basic now, offering the standard egg breakfast, or pancakes/pastries. If you have any kind of dietary restrictions your only options are smoothies, or the fruit bowl.
We came for the thanksgiving special which was the turkey but didn’t meet my expectations. It was definitely not the traditional type of turkey you would get. It was dry and we had ask for gravy. Overall, I give this 2/10 for food.
Been here many times before and it’s always been good. This time the service wasn’t fully attentive. Calamari Tofino fry was overly salted. Caesar Kale salad was bland. The Diver scallops were amazing!!! Very delicious with the cauliflower purée. Yum! Mac and cheese was good. The pumpkin pie was delicious but still a bit frozen. It wasn’t overly busy at 6pm so a little care and attention would have been appreciated. It was a mother daughter nite out.
Excellent service and delicious brunch. Cute Caesar & mimosa bar as well!
Very pretty ambience, comparable to a classy brunch picnic in a grandparents’ garden. My waffle was quite hard and too crispy, should’ve been served warmer and fresher especially at their price point. Coffee cup not refilled until I was done my meal. However the eggs Benedict was good. Seems hit or miss with service and food here, I would expect a higher standard of service from a restaurant in Parq.
A very pleasant experience with my coworkers. We went for happy hour before a show nearby and were also able to enjoy the rosé all day! The happy hour food was well priced and very good quality. Our server was also friendly and attentive. We loved sitting on the sofas in the lounge: comfortable and chic. We were seated right beside the live music which made things a little loud, but overall thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Tasty appies and awesome rose selection - perfect location before heading to a concert or game. :)
Paying $35 for a wine that sells for $8.95 at LCBO was a little disappointing!! The afternoon tea itself was lovely.
Everything was perfect. Their egg Benedict was the best I've tried in Vancouver.
The waitress was fenomenal and attentive to every detail. I would definitely want someone as such in a business of mine. The food arrived hot, well presented. Defined they have a good team there. The atmosphere was beautiful and fresh with beautiful colours.
Great service and ambiance.
The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was great! Overall good quality is good however nothing impressive.
one of my guests had specifically requested no tomatoes in their burger, got tomatoes and unfortunately was acknowledged by the server without any apologies. I would have expected a different response.
Loved everything about it
The steak and king salmon were delicious. Cleaned the plate!
We had a great time at Honey Salt. Our server Sarah was excellent and made sure we finished in time for the show we had tickets for that night. Nice bright airy atmosphere and the scallops were cooked perfectly. We would definitely go back.
The restaurant was reaally understaffed. We had to wait a while to find a waiter on the floor to get food, coffee refills, bill, etc. Food and coffee was cold.
We had a reservation and the restaurant was almost 50% empty but they seated us at one of the two worst tables... why? I assumed that the place was going to fill up but it never did. Nice - they brought a birthday cake for our table but why the table beside the kitchen....?
The food was underwhelming and the wine list was inadequate. There was no cocktail menu either.
Love the fresh food choices, atmosphere, and great service. I return here whenever I'm in Vancouver with a friend or at the bar area alone -- always love the hip vibe in Yaletown.
