We visited for Mother's Day lunch. The food is very authentic, as if you were having dinner in someone's home. This food is not spicy, nor is it supposed to be, and just flavored very softly with natural ingredients. We enjoyed the chicken stew and especially the grilled steak, like carne asada. Our server was very friendly and super helpful in navigating the menu. The ambiance is very colorful, and it looks like it would be a hopping party place on Friday or Saturday night. Parking is very tight in the neighborhood, and there is no an attached parking lot. I just kept driving around a bit and finally found one a block away. Not too bad. Just drop your companions first if need be, and then go look! The plantain chips are excellent with the warm salsa they serve.

Came here for Dine Out Long Beach. Got the $40 fixed price menu. Super yummy and great value. First time here and I'll definitely be coming back! Parking is terrible, but no fault of the Restaurant. That's just this part of Long Beach. I recommend taking an Uber/Lyft.

This was in a not so nice part of town but once inside it was clean and pleasant. The service was amazing and they were very helpful in negotiating a menu with unfamiliar food. They make their own fruit juice concoctions which they allowed us to sample. I chose the tamarind blend which was quite good. This is a neighborhood gem.
