Dined on the patio - nice atmosphere, not crowded. Had some delicious cocktails and the Caesar salad with cornbread croutons for a starter. The menu is limited right now but everything was fresh and delicious. The fried chicken sandwiches are amazing and huge! The gnocchi was light and had a nice sauce with fresh herbs, peas, and mushrooms. We were too full for dessert but they serve ice cream from the local South Mountain Creamery. They also serve milkshakes with or without alcohol. Will definitely return.

The chicken fried shrimp and “Better on Sunday” sandwich were amazing, but my favorite part was the Scotty Lemmy cocktail!! Delicious!

The food was delicious! We had the shrimp appetizer and it had an unexpected and great flavor.
We had the fried chicken sandwich and it was tender and so flavorful and the fries were extra crispy! Our server was attentive and took extra care to list and describe all of the ice creams for our ice cream flight choices for dessert. I think everyone in Frederick should enjoy this great food!

Service from everyone was and kind and helpful. Great evening to sit outside and enjoy the nice breeze. Menu options were delicious. Smaller menu selection and had nice variety to choose from. Flavor of all the food was great and unique. Had the rib appetizer and the sauce was savory with a hint of blueberry. Butchers block burger and better on Sunday chicken sandwich were very good and definitely recommend both. Had the hand crafted cocktail options were fun and tried 2 different choices. Of course had to have some south creamery ice cream for desert. Lots of flavors to choose from and were delicious!

First time we were there for a full meal. And it did not disappoint. In spite of the craziness of Restaurant Week, we had wonderful service and made to order food. Went home with leftovers. Because, of course, we had to leave room for the 24 flavors of ice cream!

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was inviting and easy going which was nice since we have kids. Food was good. We all got some sort of sand which and the bun that came with them was way too big. Fries were great.

We were very impressed! The food was very good, the service was prompt, food was served hot. The waiter was friendly without being overbearing. He was quite knowledgeable about the menu. The calamari was some of the best I have eaten, though a tad salty. The bass was wonderful!

Cocktails were great. Very welcoming when we came in. Service started off great but as soon as a few tables filled things went downhill quickly. Got the beer order wrong. Fish was undercooked and had to be sent back. Chicken was terrific. Entree prices were very reasonable App prices high. Overall the food was good but the service made the whole evening difficult. We noted this was a birthday celebration but there was no acknowledgment. Manager did take the fish off the bill which we appreciated. If they could get the service together this could be a great place.

Interesting that this place has been open for 9 months and yet there are no reviews??? Joined by my wife and brother. It is a bit hard to find as it is in an office building and not clearly marked. Access to parking is convenient(next door) across a rather dark alley. Wide open space and very casual. Seated immediately. Menu is limited and I suspect does not change much. Cocktail list is adequate, but wine list is limited to 3 selections and nothing by the bottle.

Ordered 2 glasses of wine and a cocktail. The drink arrived, but no wine for 15 or so more minutes until I finally asked the waitress and shortly the wine appeared. No deviled egg appetizer as they "were out". We got the oyster appetizer, the pork chop, scallops, and the fried chicken. Added beet salad and gem salad. Portions more than adequate and we took home some leftovers. The food was tasty and well done with good flavors. Unfortunately, they brought the entrees almost immediately after the salad which made the table seem very small and the meal rushed. Many flavors of ice cream for dessert, but no other options. (It is run by folks who also own a dairy and creamery). No coffee (ice cream or beverage).

Shortly after 7, there was live music, a sort of small bluegrass band. No mention of this on the website, so not sure how often this happens. Makes for difficult conversation and given the acoustics in the room, probably not the best music option. We made the most of it.

Most disappointing was the service. Our waitress seemed young and inexperienced. We had to continually ask for water, extra silverware, and the wine as I mentioned. Overall, it was an "OK" dining experience, but not worth the 50 minute drive we made. There are many better options in Frederick in my opinion.

Food was good but service was incredibly slow. Our server only stopped by 4 times in our 2 hr time there. We understood that it was Fire and Ice in Frederick but there were plenty of open tables and it wasn’t crowded at all.

Relatively new restaurant sources from local farms still working out the kinks. We went on Fire & Ice night so they were overwhelmed a bit. Excellent food, great prices, limited menu but service was great and live music a bonus. Don’t miss out on the ice cream !

Overall we enjoyed out meal, but there is not much ambiance for the price. This was out first visit. We were seated promptly, though the place was empty other than one table at 6:30 on a Friday evening. The server was helpful. the menu was limited but all looked good. I ordered the fried chicken, which was a thigh and breast served over braised collard greens. It was fried nicely, but it was a bit too sweet (maybe the molasses brine), and for $20 for two pieces of chicken I expected a little better. It was not served Wife had the striped bass, which was served with mashed cauliflower and a sun choke crumble. She enjoyed the fish, but not the sun choke crumble. I know the menu is new, but it still feels a bit like a cafeteria. We will give it another try, but I think we will stick with the sandwiches and items from the bar menu.
