   To be clear, you won't have a view of the track, at least not the entire track. Those don't exist. If you get a window seat, you will have a view of the track directly in front of you. The far turn will be blocked by window panes and walls. If you aren't on top of the window, you are out of luck. There is no view of the track behind the first row of tables. This is not a restaurant, its a roped off area of a ball room with folding tables and cheap chairs. The menu is something you might find at Buffalo Wild Wings. Which I later learned was from the bar in the casino. Service, at least for me, was very, very poor. However, I would give a pass on that as she seemed to have been assigned too many tables. Now here is the sad point of the entire review. If you are coming to Turfway- get a reservation for Homestretch. Because as lousy and bad as it is- the alternative is worse. There are just no facilities at this track for horse racing fans. This track is easily the worst horse racing track in the USA to view races...

   Was truly a pleasure to spend our Friday evenings eating tasty appetizers and watching live racing at Turfway Park. Too bad the event center is not open to host happy hour & simulcast horse racing on Fridays and Saturdays until live racing resumes in late November 2024.

   We came to watch live racing and had a great view on the window. Food was good, everyone liked what they ordered. Very limited menu but something for everyone. My only real complaint is that we ordered 2 appetizers and one came out with the food and the other came out about 10 minutes later. Our server was very nice and friendly.

    Everything was exceptionally nice. Our waitress, service, view, our surroundings… we definitely will book again as soon as possible since we had such an enjoyable time and not that expensive. The value for the food and drinks was very appropriate., will be back with more friends. We had my sons and my birthday celebration there Feb 25 and were very pleased with the accommodations

    We had a great time. Our server was overstretched, not enough waiters/waitresses. Everyone was reasonably friendly though. Not a wide selection of food, but our meals were priced well and tasted better than expected. Pours on our drinks were valued well. Best spot to view the racing.

    Except for the inability to reach the venue on the phone it was a great experience. Our server, JoAnn was EXCELLENT! And once I go through to the venue through your app they were responsive and accommodating for our party of 8

    Joanne was our server and she was fantastic. We had a two year old with us, and she was very accommodating. One burger came out barely cooked and she took it off the bill. My only real complaint, is that they need a better wine list.

    What is disappointment. Bar food was the best I could describe it. Was actually expecting a good dinner menu. Not even close. Service was nearly non existent. I would have had 2 more drinks if she ever came by again. Views were horrid unless on the glass. Nothing was staggered, just a big ball room. They had a birthday party and an open section for all in the same big room. This is not a restaurant in any way. Absolutely NO thought was put into this so-called restaurant. I was looking forward to this trip and was supposed to go back Wed, Thur, and Friday of this week too, but I cancelled the rest of the reservations. I had also planned on driving in for the "Bid day" in March and will not be coming for that either. I would rather go to NY, AR, LA, or FL. For sure the LOW end of KY racing. Kind of sad as this place once meant something many years ago.

    Perfect table by the window overlooking the track. The tables had cloth tablecloths and water goblets with the contrast of a small menu of fried foods and burgers. I would suggest a grilled chicken or fish option for those of us who like to eat healthier but the fried fish was delicious and the portions were huge. The chicken fingers were over cooked.
