   Food was top class. Well presented and very good service. Wine list limited - but Sommelier was good and wine chosen was excellent. Chef will excel when she achieves her own space. Very reasonably priced - exceptional value.

   A lovely evening for my birthday with two friends. Food was delicious, service was amazing and can't wait for the restaurant.

   Service was so slow, we were seated at 8.30 and didn't get out until midnight. The slow service also meant that the wine flight and food were disjointed, the white wine was warm. The salmon was delicious, the best salmon that i have ever had but the beef course flavours were unbalanced, i barely touched dessert as it was so late that i was tired and fed up. We have paid less for taster menus and recieved better in the past, when paying £320 for four to dine and given Liz Cottams previous reviews i expected more. We weren't the only people to complain and i will give Liz Cottam credit for coming out in person to take the feedback. I'm sorry to say that we wouldn't return to any of her events but how three chefs with assistance coundn't get that menu out to 45 diners in better time is beyond me?

   I’m often a bit dubious about ‘tasting menus’, having been disappointed in the past when the desire to innovate leads the chef into the trap of style over substance (and taste). However, with Liz Cottam in the kitchen, I needn’t have worried. The food Liz produced was divine to look at and to eat. The whole menu was balanced beautifully (in all senses) and one or two of the dishes were amongst the best I’ve ever tasted. What I also really appreciated was the relaxed atmosphere. It’s not uncommon for fine food to be accompanied by stuffy, self-congratulatory waiting staff who feel obliged to explain every detail of the dish they’re presenting, notwithstanding the fact that it is perfectly adequately described on the menu and it’s probable that most of the customers can read. Anyway, this wasn’t a failing here; the service was professional but relaxed and not the least bit pompous. All in all, we had a most enjoyable evening and can recommend Home without reservation (well you probably will need to make a reservation but you know what I mean!).

   Fantastic food and a very engaging maitre'd. Liz came out a few times to speak to us and she is very engaging and more than happy to talk about her experiences. The food was outstanding - a true burst of flavours on the palette.

   It was a great experience especially with the chef coming out to speak to each table about the food. This was a great experience and the wine added to the menu as it very much complemented the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a lovely place for a date or special occasion.

   Superb food from somebody who has a real passion and flair for cooking. Liz is unique in coming round and introducing herself and deliverying each course personally. It was lovely to meet her and a delight to dine with her.
