   Really enjoyed Aiden who served our table. Such an amazing young man who knows all his meals, ingredients, wines and is a great representative for your restaurant. Always an enjoyable experience.

   I almost come here with my friends every year since I love the wine pairing course a lot. But definitely not this time. I don't understand what kind of style it is now. Especially for the appetizer, I remember that it used to be very impressive. And wine is just so so. Just feel so sad because cedercreek is the only reason that I drive 4.5hrs from Vancouver..I hope you guys didn't change the main chief as I've been told. But, it's time to say goodbye and good luck.

   Thank you for the feedback Komo, we do in fact have the same chef and menu format as in previous years. Our menu changes daily. I will be sure to pass along your feedback to chef. I do note that on your last visit you dined on the 5 course platuinum and library wine menu which would have been curated just for your needs and likes and the wine is also a higher tier wine when you select this option. Maybe that style is more to your preference and we do still facilitate 5 course menus when you select them upon booking. Thank you for taking the time to share. Wishing you all the best.

   Spectacular setting, inside and out. Heated patio allowed us to watch a beautiful sunset. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good but not quite as expected. Squid starter was very heavily breaded without much seasoning, and the accoutrement (quenelle of chili jam with no heat) was the same as that served with the main pork dish. With a small menu you hope for different flavour profiles. The overall experience was great however and we would likely go back.

   Never disappointed with the amazing food and service. In addition, they are always accommodating for my husband’s multiple food intolerances. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!!

   I’ve now been to Home Block twice, and while the setting and atmosphere continue to impress, my most recent visit left me feeling a bit let down—especially considering it was for my birthday. On my first visit, the staff were wonderfully accommodating of my dietary restrictions (I’m vegetarian and don’t like mushrooms), and I left feeling seen and satisfied. This time, however, I dined with a group of six, two of us with similar dietary needs, and we hoped to try the five-course tasting menu. Unfortunately, we were told that because we were at one table, everyone had to do the same menu and we couldn’t have separate versions—even though, oddly, we could’ve done that if we sat at two different tables. That lack of flexibility was disappointing, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. We opted for the three-course menu to keep things simple. But when our entrées arrived, I was surprised and disappointed to find there were no vegetarian protein options at all. For a winery that prides itself on seasonal, thoughtful cuisine, it felt like vegetarians were more of an afterthought. That said, the view remains stunning, and the ambiance is beautiful. The service was professional, and the wine was excellent as always. I just wish the food—the main reason we came—had met the same standard of care and consideration, especially for guests with dietary restrictions.

   Our recent dining experience at Cedar Creek Winery was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, every detail reflected a commitment to culinary excellence and thoughtful hospitality.
