   I had the perfect evening with friends at homage at Woods. Perfect ambience very relaxing , the cheese was top quality. The wines were paired perfectly and of course of the highest quality . The young sommelier was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. I can’t recommend it enough, I love the place. I took my friend for her birthday last month and we had the tasting menu. That was fantastic. I will be visiting again,

   We had the cheese board and charcuterie board between 4 with extra warm bread which was the same perfect aMount. Outstanding cheese, really really delicious with homemade crackers. Unfortunately however the menu was difficult to understand and it wasn’t clear what came with the cheeses and it was purely a guess that we needed the extra bread. There was a shortage of wine on the night so we had a limited choice but it was nice. The service was ok very polite and helpful but just a little disingenuous and false. Again with a lot of these restaurants the food is better than the service. Having said that I would go back it was very relaxed, we weren’t rushed and it is really all about the cheese anyway!!

   Excellent afternoon, enjoying the cheese and wine tasting menu (plus some extras). Everything was delicious and brilliantly paired. Anna was a superb host, explaining everything clearly and made sure we were completely looked after, even asking Simon himself to come and say hello! Excellent value for a real experience.

   Homage at Wood was absolutely stunning. The service from the waitress was impeccable, she was so knowledgable and really lovely. Wine pairing was excellent. The last cheese and wine was literally heaven. Only negative I have is that for the money it would have been nice to have a piece of cheese each rather than share a very small triangle between two, but overall would absolutely recommend, it was beautiful.

   We had the cheese tasting with wine. Anna, the sommelier, was knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Cocktails afterwards were amazing.

    The restaurant was very nice and the lady who served us was really friendly and tentative. However, we were under the impression the Homage deal was £30 per person for cheese and wine. It said that on the website and on the board outside the restaurant when we arrived and when we left. However it was in fact £30 each for the 5 cheese selection and another £30 each for the pairing 5 wines. We wouldn’t have booked to go if we’d known it was so expensive. Also when we received the cheese, some pieces were to split between two of us, so I wouldn’t say we had £60 worth of cheese per couple. We also ordered two meat platters as there were four of us and there wasn’t enough meat to try a piece each, so again we were having to share and they were £20 per platter! We felt a bit quite mislead by the price and for that reason I don’t feel it was good value. What we thought would cost £60-£80 per couple ended up costing £150. An expensive cheese and wine tasting. Disappointing.
