It accepted and confirmed reservation on Open Table. I drove 11 miles in the rain to get there... only to be greeted by a sign on both doors that only employees were allowed. Two men were inside, and both doors were locked. Thanks for the great communication Holy Grale.
The service was absolutely terrible and the food was undercooked and everyone’s meals came out at different times. Beer was decent

Loved the atmosphere and quality of craft beers and food for a large get together. Pretzel and beer cheese is amazing, wish I could buy the cheese. Brussel sprouts had a savoring nutty flavor and is my fave on the menu. When we come back, I'm trying the Poutine as it looked really good as well.

I went for my birthday dinner and Jeff took great care of us! The beer selection is amazing, overwhelming if it’s your first time looking at it, but well worth sifting through. My favorite by far was the Jasmine Tea Lager which is a Chinese import. The pretzel bread and beer cheese is a must have for appetizers, the bread was hot when it hit the table and melted in your mouth with the beer cheese spread. The poutine was interesting, in a great way! I definitely want to come back to try the bolognese and more beer!
Excellent! my only complaint is I could have had a bigger portion of the Käsespätzle, it was so good, I wanted way more! Beer cheese/pretzel also delish and everyone raved about the burgers
Holy Grale has an amazing beer selection and the food is fantastic. Servers are very knowledgeable about the food and beer and make great recommendations. Technology between the server and the kitchen is not that great though. Twice I’ve had my order lost. But I love the place and will keep going back.
Bolognese was great. The rest of our dishes were ok. Very tight quarters upstairs. And temperature not well regulated. Server forgot to order our appetizers so those came out after our dinner. Drinks were slow to get.
Wonderful service and fabulous food. We had the pretzel loaf- very tasty and delicious. We ordered the 3D Valley burgers w/Fritjes for both of us and we also asked for a side of beer cheese to go with our burgers. Great beer, great food, superb service and a very nice time spent at dinner. We weren't hurried to leave after we finished our meal as we sat in the choir loft. We will be back and I refer Holy Grale to all my friends and out of town guests.
My first time there was very pleasant. Everyone on the staff seemed to be in good spirits
The food was really good but the service was terrible. We sat at the bar and the bartenders acted like we were an inconvenience to them the whole time. My meal was also brought out 20 minutes before my wife’s. The food was good but we couldn’t wait to leave. We were originally planning on staying for a bit and having some more drinks but ended up leaving as soon as we were done eating.
Hi, we are so sorry you had that experience with us. After checking around, there was a general consensus that the Sunday you visited was a rare moment where we were having a really bad day. You definitely did not experience us at our best. And while it happens, restaurants have “bad days,” we don’t want it to ever affect our guests, and that’s what happened to you. We want to apologize and hope you come back in for a better time.

Late Fathers Day
This was a great place for my our of town friends who love craft beer. They also like food, and were pleased with the Kentucky Proud products. It was a beautiful evening to sit on the patio.

We took friends who had not been here before. Sat upstairs. Patio full and bar area noisy. Forgot upstairs small. Beers good. Selection almost too much. Food selection almost too small. Wanted BLT Sliders. Still on website but MIA in restaurant. Fries still great and Simple Salad tasty. We will go back but not on a regular basis.

Bachelor party dinner. Reserved the upstairs loft. Perfect for the occasion.
Well... we were disappointed that there wasn’t a full bar (we didn’t read the menu correctly) We were okay with just a bourbon until we learned they have nothing on ice- meaning warm wine, water & bourbon, and no Chardonnay. Food was just okay.
Hello! Unfortunately we do not have the plumbing for an ice machine, but we do keep wine that is traditionally served cold in a wine fridge. We also keep water in a fridge so guests can enjoy cold water and wine served at its appropriate temperature. We do have Chardonnay, or something similar to it, and it is kept at the appropriate temperature for serving.
Confused on entry to the set up. Super friendly staff and a frequent customer directed. Open table reservation was placed. Table was set up and waiting on us in loft area with a separate bar. Super cute location and feel. Very much a highland vibe. Took a minute to figure out the menu. If you are a big beer buff this would be your jam. Overall experience was great for our girls night out. If you are in loft area bring a sweater there is a vent that hits the table we were at and the longer you are sitting the colder it feels. Would recommend this place and recommend placing a reservation if larger than four In your party. It seems to be very popular and was filling up on a Thursday night.
Great bar for drinks. Thought we would grab dinner here, but food menu takes back seat to beer - ended up at another place for food, but the ambience and drinks were outstanding

We are so happy that Choir Loft now takes reservations. We go for family birthdays. The service is spectacular. I wish I could remember our server's name. He suggested just the right beer and was relaxed and cheerful with a large group.

Holy Grail was a great experience. They accommodated my last minute reservations on a Friday night. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the servers were very knowledgeable about the food and drink selection. I'll definitely go again and bring others with me.
I made a reservation for a large group for my birthday, and we had a perfect evening! Our server up in the choir loft was excellent, as were the other staff members who promptly brought up food and drinks. They were also very nice about helping us fit in a few extra guests at the last minute. Thanks to everyone at Holy Grale!!
Great beers and the food is just as great!
Holy Grale is essentially a beer bar with a selection of really good "bar" food, the beer selection is really excellent. Food choices are limited but all very good. It has limited seating, so reserve.

Everything about Holy Grale exceeded expectations! Our server was knowledgeable and hilarious. The food was AMAZING. Every bite was just so good. The beer was ridiculously good. We left dinner so happy. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing! We loved the beer menu and the two restaurant options. We ate downstairs with bar service on the Saturday night and then ate upstairs with excellent table service on the Sunday night since we liked it so much. Bartender was engaging and recommended excellent beers based on the ones I already drank and enjoyed. Excellent food both nights. Downstairs was more lively with louder music and conversations whereas the Choir Loft offered a great chance for conversation over multiple beers. Loved this place and will definitely go back if I'm ever in the city again.
