About
Went for Sunday brunch. Lots of choices and everyone was happy with what they ordered. Because it was not crowded we did not feel rushed and enjoyed a very leisurely dining experience.
Service was excellent, and the food was flavorful. However, the scallops were quite expensive for the very small portion with no side whatsoever.
My husband and I were seated at a lovely corner booth to celebrate our anniversary. But the restaurant was full of sizable groups and the sound level was deafening.
The food was excellent and priced right the server was very good and appeared to enjoy her work
It is the second time I have eaten at Holman’s Table. The food has been delicious, the service great and I have enjoyed both times immensely. I have already recommended the restaurant to several friends!
Four of us stopped for a late brunch on Sunday. Our server, Cheryl, was fun and knowledgeable and service was timely. The crab crab cakes with hollandaise was very tasty as were the hamburgers and fries. Everyone was in agreement that we would return soon for dinner
What a not-so-hidden gem! This place is amazing for brunch. Good menu for brunch but an even cooler ambiance.
An Out of the Way Treasure!
Holman's should be on everyone's list. There's something for everyone, from the cocktails and wine/beer list to the desserts. Yes, the menu is small---and creative, local, imaginative, and well-thought out. The service is attentive and helpful---even fun! The history and ambiance of the place is worth the trip in itself.
I've had breakfast and dinner there. Will try lunch. And plan to return here again and again.
It was very enjoyable. Easy parking too
Love the decor and the view. Excellent wine, liquor and cocktail list. The food does not disappoint. The Brussels Sprouts are amazing! The scallops are a favorite. Perfectly cooked scallops with sipce and crunch from the kimchi. Love that you can go casual or dressed up. Top notch service as well.
Retirement dinner celebration.
We dined at Holman's Table as part of Restaurant Week 2019 for their lunch service.
Greatly enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambience of watching the happenings at the St. Paul airfield.
Tried it for the first time since it was restaurant week. Even though the menu was prix fixed, they did not skimp on the portions! Food was great and our server, Karina was too! Definitely coming back.
Corina was the best. Thank you
All of our food was very flavorful and fresh. Loved the options for Restaurant Week and enjoyed our first visit here very much. We will be back!
What a wonderful surprise! Very good food and drinks at a good price. We will be back--I need to find the best route to bike there in the summer.
Interesting location with a great view of downtown St. Paul. Great ambience, we had the short rib and it was phenomenal. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, crispy, but a little on the oilier side. The mushroom toast was cheesier, than mushroomy, but still delicious. The harvest salad was light and good mix of apples, goat cheese and pumpkin seeds. We would definately come back again. Great for a date night.
The historic and interesting venue and view make it an interesting and fun place to dine. Our restaurant week meal was a great value, and delivered well for all. Some great choices too - a nice sturgeon preparation, short rib and lamb cavatelli. The only hiccup was slightly slow service, and we were about done with dessert when the coffee arrived. Will return.
Restaurant week. Big portions for restaurant week! Great food!
I put Holman's more on the upscale side, yet not outrageous in pricing. For the two times my wife and I have dined here, the food and service has been very good! Highlights include the sturgeon and short rib. They serve several interesting cocktails and have an OK selection of local beers. Watching the planes come and go is also very fun!
This was our 4th time at Holmans Table, both the food and service was very good. Our waitperson was both professional, and personable, all in all, a very good dining experience.
We were there for Restaurant Week - so perhaps not their regular crowd. The hostess was friendly, a manager stopped by with waters to let us know our server Jack (?) would be with us shortly. He was also the bartender so doing double-duty - he was friendly and knowledgable but perhaps a bit busier than he was used to. Food was outstanding and the space was very well done with views of small planes taking off and landing. We will be back!
Chicken sandwich was very good but cream of mushroom soup was too salty. I had lunch with two seniors and it was slightly loud for them. They enjoyed their lunch and watching the small planes landing. Jack our server was fantastic!
Small peaceful space. Fun to watch the planes come and go. Small but menu but good choices. Well sourced and prepared food.
There for restaurant week. Very impressed with the food. The service was pretty slow but otherwise excellent. I think it was particularly crowded for them.
Food was very good. We all had something different: salmon, pork chop, sturgeon and braised short rib. Mushroom toast was very good. 2 of us ordered from the special restaurant week menu. Didn't really seem much of a bargain. Probably saved a few dollars. Quite noisy for Sunday nite but the place was very crowded. Our waitress forgot about our coffee but didn't charge us so...………. Very unique atmosphere since it butts up to the airport. We saw one small private jet stop right outside our window. Very easy to find and parking was very accessible and free.
Good, not great. I would say if I lived in that neighborhood I would visit it again and give it another shot. The time it took to get the main course seemed a longer than it should be. 50+ minutes from when we were seated.
Unique setting, great service, food was very well prepared. Steak was done to order, the Chicken Roulade was excellent, and the Mushroom toast is a must.
We went for a Valentine’s date on Saturday the 16th. My husband had arranged a helicopter ride at sunset which was amazing and then dinner at Holmans Table. We had been once before and have been wanting to get back. Nothing disappointed us. Our server Madison was knowledgeable and recommended a great bottle of wine. I had the salmon and it might have been the best salmon dish I have ever tasted. The flavors were complex but all worked well together. My husband ordered the pork chop and he said it was very good. Our booth looked out at the runway and we were able to see a few planes land and take off. Very memorable evening.
Amazing food and such a neat location! I have to be gluten free, and they did a spectacular job working with me. Will definitely be back.
The ambiance was great, the restaurant had a retro feel to it. Our food was amazing. Everyone cleaned their plates just shy of licking them clean. Everything was delicious and we had great service. Definitely will be coming back again!
This was a nice surprise. Great atmosphere, attentive service, excellent food. I enjoyed the brunch but will definitely be back for a dinner!
The food was spectacular. It was a complete surprise since you’re in an FBO airport building and the decor had some looks of a throwback 50’s diner.
We rate Your restaurant as one of the best we have ever been to.
5 stars across the board!
We came here with our kids for Valentines Dinner as our family tradition and were treated as anyone else.
Highly professional, accommodating, sincere, amazing service without being overbearing - just kind - to the point and gave us our time together.
The Food: Anove and beyond expectations! The flavors and the clean taste! And the Microgreens!
The Wine service: perfect
Dessert: Delicious
Ambiance: amazing taste in decor and lighting and the seating is so comfortable!
Concept: What an amazing concept on a runway with the Helicopter Rides! We took all the kids out for rides. Such kindness and convenience and an absolute blast!
This is definitely my new favorite place!
You are superb in every way!
Thank you!
4th visit, still excellent, I recommend to all my friends.
Great food and staff. Good cocktail selection. Ample parking. Quiet, easy to have conversations
Best Manhattan I have every had(Burt?), service was excellent. The Hanger steak was not real tender.
Food quality was excellent. Wait staff fairly attentive. If your a carnivore probably a fine dining experience. If your a vegetarian or gluten sensitive their "working with you" equates to dropping the steak or fish from the entree. And telling you the bread has gluten. They offer no tofu or other meat substitute. So your meal is basically vegetables and starch. Nicely prepared vegetables and starch. But somewhat disappointing for our Valentine's day meal.
Really good food, and nice options on the menu. Fun location too, for a change of pace.
This is the second time my friend and I have dined at this restaurant. The first time it was very busy and you should know this restaurant is very noisy when busy. But this last time was on a very snowy night and there weren’t many people there and we thought it was much more enjoyable to dine in a more quiet atmosphere. We had the mushroom toast which was very good. My friend had a salad and the poutine and liked if. I had the short ribs and that was good too. Service was very good.
Food was very good. Dessert was great.
Loved the creative authenticity of an air raid with the alarms going off on Saturday night! It felt like WWII. Bravo!
