Creative comfort food will make you a frequent flier at this cozy dining spot. Nostalgic favorites are given a modern yet approachable refresh using locally sourced ingredients. Portion sizes are good and in line with prices. Starters are first class and good for sharing; try the mushroom toast or the chorizo clams. The poutine with braised boar is out of this world, and not smothered in gravy like some versions. If you have had a full flight of starters, the salads make for good entrees; the organic farro with smoked salmon is light but savory and satisfying. For something a little heartier the hangar steaks are cooked to perfection and paired with seasonal root vegetables. Save room for the beautifully crafted desserts. Holman's Table is not just for dinner - breakfast, brunch, and lunch are also a must here.
It was a great place to have a business lunch. I would love to come back and try date night!
My friends and I went here for our holiday gathering. The server was nice and the food was good. We started the mushroom toast, which was lukewarm, but still tasty. We had the risotto, short ribs, and scallops. Everything was good, but nothing was exceptional. Would not need to go back.
We have eaten at Holman's Table about a 1/2 dozen times. We love the location, ambiance, excellent food, great craft cocktails and service. We just celebrated a birthday here and definitely plan on returning.
Very good food. Service was superb. Food came quickly and done correctly. Drinks refilled often. We were not rushed as we chatted after finishing our meal.
Cool location, cool building. Service and atmosphere were great and food was good.
I had the Fruits De Mer. The menu description stated “tomato broth” there was absolutely none. Also, we had a 6” round birthday cake and was told that the $15.00 cake fee was waived??? Why bother stating that???
Wait staff was exceptional, as were salmon & pork menu options. First class wine & cocktail options as well. Will be back soon
It was a cold windy night, so the surrounding views from the spacious parking lot were enjoyed only briefly! But the setting is lovely and unique, right on the river with the St. Paul skyline just right over there! Highly recommended. Inside the classic terminal building, the dining room was beautiful, soft pink and copper, with padded, comfy, pillow lined booths along the window walls, and many different table configurations in the center. The bar is small, cute and inviting. The service was excellent, friendly and genuine, timely and not a bit over done. The menu covers it all without being over the top. I had the French Onion soup, thick, crusty, cheesy and a little bit sweet, just the way I like it. The divers entree was generous and delicious. My husband had a beautiful green salad followed by pork ragout, both perfectly prepared, filling and delicious. We shared the thick and tasty pumpkin cheesecake and were thoroughly wowed by the whole experience. We'll definitely be back.
I celebrated my birthday with my wife and two of our kids and their spouses. We have had lunch here before and enjoyed it. This was for dinner and it was a wonderful experience.
Took my son here for his birthday and it was perfect! He had the steak salad and loved it. I enjoyed the salmon - cooked perfectly and fabulous taste. Everything on the menu looked wonderful.
Very good. Met with friends and especially liked not being rushed.
The airport setting is unique and fascinating. It was a bit difficult to find the restaurant in the dark because of lack of signage. The free parking is great. Our server Brad was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices seemed high but most of us liked the food. A bread basket would be nice. The free dessert for the birthday boy was much appreciated.
Food Very good.
Appreciated sound level conducive to conversation.
Beautifully plated and delicious food!
Loved the amazing mushroom toast and we were amazed at the wild boar, egg, potato entree.
Very lovely Sauvignon Blanc!
Comfortable, amazing view of jets arriving/departing, fun, and delightfully different!
We are now planning our 50th Gala Anniversary Party next June, 2019!

The place is great. Prices fair and the food very tasty. The menu is a little sparse. Would like to have seen a smaller steak option such as a small fillet and maybe one additional fish option. The service was outstanding. The server was knowledgable and helpful without being overbearing. A little on the crowded side, (we were tucked in a little closer to the next table than we like). If you can easily overhear the conversation at the next table ,that's too close.
It's a cool venue. We would recommend it to others and would come back again. (In fact, we are bringing a group of back in a week or so).
Our family had a wonderful time at Holman's Table. It was our first time there and we went for my husband's birthday dinner. We have two meat eaters, one vegetarian and one picky eater who also has some food allergies. Holman's Table was able to accommodate all of us and everyone's meal was excellent. I might not take young children there, but our 12 and 15 year old kids enjoyed themselves. And we all really liked our desserts!
Service great; food good; noise level - poor. They sat us near two large parties who were well into their "cups" and quite loud - why sit all "large" (5+) groups together? Diminished an otherwise good experience.
Ordered the scallops which arrived cold. Not impressed.
This was third time I have been to the restaurant. I was really disappointed this time. The food was not as good. My husband had the short rib and it was dry. I had the salmon which was served on a bed of rice with cranberries. This was cold and I'm sure it wasn't meant to be. The service was a little off. Waited for a while to order a second round of drinks. The restaurant was very loud making conversation difficult. Sadly, not sure if I would go back.
Food was great - I had the salmon, my wife, cup of soup and a beet salad. Service was wonderful. Value - OK. Problem was . . . . it felt like a cafeteria. Too much light, little decor to speak of and just not a great dinner venue. I understand it's wonderful for lunch.
Celebrating my dad’s 80th healthy test results.
Food was great! The service was wonderful! The restaurant is somewhat small so we were sitting very close to the next two tables on each side. The Ambiance is that we could see the small jets take off at night, but inside the restaurant is somewhat like a nice cafe.
We hope to return, but we will have different expectations for the ambiance.
Everything was great, beginning with our server's recommendations and explanations. After we got our first course, he sort of dropped off the planet, and rather ignored us. He seemed offended when one of us asked for a glass of ice water and salt and pepper. We were again ignored when we were finished eating, and sat with our plates in front of us for a long time. The same thing happened with dessert. (This was not a busy night--less than half of the tables were filled.) What began with a warm and welcoming first impression faded away, and as first-time customers really colored our otherwise favorable impression. ALSO: This was a birthday dinner for my companion and noted in my reservation. No acknowledgement was made, even after opening wrapped gifts.
This restaurant is always worth it! Excellent food and service!
This is a very cool place and the wait staff gave us incredible attention and were highly trained in menu items available. I had the smoked salmon salad which was delicious! My husband had the pork with pickled cauliflower. He liked that as well. The only recommendation would be to turn up the heat a little in the restaurant.
What a perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary! The food was wonderful. The staff very attentive. Thank you for a special evening!
Fun to watch some take-offs and landings. Food was excellent overall, but dessert(s) needed some help.
Loved it and will return again.
Our server was really good. She was very personable, knowledgeable and quick witted.
I have been to Holman’s Table several times this year and it has always been good but the sever made it an extra special experience and I will hope she’s my server the next time
Food is always excellently prepared - steak salad and French onion soup were beautifully presented and tasty. My friend's hamburger was perfectly cooked and fries were delicious.
Took my mom here for her birthday
Our server was pretty attentive, and knowledgable regarding the menu.
This was particularly needed as my step-father is Celiac and needs gluten free options.
Our server recomended what options he could have and what substitutions were availalbe.
The only miss, if I had to call one out was that there was no gluten free desert option other than ice cream - but that was fine with my step-father as he had more options than he was used to overall
Went here before a concert at Xcel. Wanted something "close" to the venue - 8 minute drive was perfect. View was amazing. Menu is on the smaller side but we all found something and LOVED everything. I had the salmon and it was beyond delightful!
Loved the mushroom toasts, the rib eye, and the pasta with pistachio pesto. Good service. Fun spot.
Our table shared the poutine and had salmon and scallops as entrees. Everything was delicious! Fun to watch a couple of small planes come and go as we ate. We also appreciated the fact that you could carry on a conversation without yelling!
Four of us ordered the French onion soup and it was one of the best we have all enjoyed for a long time. The Reuben sandwich was a disappointment, corn beef was stringy. Steak salad and lamb burgers were great. We will return!
Would absolutely return for the food and ambiance. Appreciated getting a postcard with the tab and it could be mailed for you by the restaurant. The view of downtown St. Paul from the parking lot was spectacular and it was nice having a seating area outside to sit and appreciate the planes coming in and out of the airport. The décor of the waiting area outside of the restaurant was classic old time airport furniture. We enjoyed looking at old photos in the hallways and the outside information stands. This place is a hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Nostalgia feel right on runways for airport
Warm staff. Welcoming. Food was great!!!
This is a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back
