Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We had a very enjoyable meal to celebrate my mother's 86th birthday. The service and food were both amazing. It was very loud because there was a large group in for another birthday and it did get quite boomy when everyone was talking. When the large party left, the noise level returned to normal. The decor is very stylish although we did find the lovely wooden chairs extremely low!

Such a lovely restaurant with a super friendly team, who greeted us like best friends. The ambience was really lovely, with a great buzz in abundance. The chefs were really friendly & so informative & very professional- a well oiled machine! We will definitely be back again & hopefully stay the night next time .

Truly outstanding meal at Holm. We had the tasting menu without the supplementary courses. Everything was refined, balanced and full of flavour. Exactly the right amount too, so we were full enough but not bloated. It was great to the restaurant so busy on a midweek evening. Really fab - highly recommended!

We had an excellent Sunday lunch, once again - Holm has become our favourite restaurant in our part of Somerset. The cheddar fries are glorious, not to be missed. The bread is wonderful too, even before you start on the menu options. Although the Sunday lunch menu is limited, four of us found dishes that we all loved. Sadly, we had no room for pudding.

We had some lovely food on our visit and I think Holm offers great value with the perfect balance between price and quality. I do have what I hope will be seen as constructive observations. The night we were there a large party arrived at almost the same time,as a result waiting staff were under some pressure and it did not make for such a relaxed experience. In particular I would have liked to understand a little more about the wines on offer but as I say understandably it was quite hectic. The noise level in the restaurant was very high, with hard surfaces and little in the way of soft furnishings talking to your guests was quite an effort. I would have thought the music playing through the speakers could have been dispensed with. However I applaud the ethos of this restaurant precisely cooked food using top quality ingredients at a sensible price. ,

Hi Colin, This is really useful feedback, thank you. Full transparency: in an attempt to achieve consistent profitability - which is getting increasingly more difficult in Hospitality - we are having to manage our staff costs quite closely, which often means running with one less team member than we might have say 12 month ago (pre increases in NLW, NI, etc and when all of our ingredients cost less!). This means 'crunch points' as they are known in the trade feel slightly more pronounced. I'm really sorry this impacted your experience a little.
