Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

We are 15 minutes by taxi from Crewkerne Station, 20 minutes from Yeovil Junction Station, 30 minutes from Castle Cary Station.If you are planning on booking a taxi to and from Holm for your visit, please let the person who takes the booking or confirms your booking know, we can then manage your booking times for you and communicate with the taxi firm about timings for you, if you wish.

With a focus on Somerset's finest quality products from local growers and farmers, our team will guide you through a seven course menu. We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember! Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our menu we may not be able to accommodate last minute amendments.

    Start your morning right with our set breakfast menu at Holm Somerset. Presently, set menu breakfast only served with complimentary Canton tea, cafetière coffee from Clifton Coffee Roasters & Burrow Hill apple juice. Followed with yoghurt, compote, granola. Your choice of Alford Farm thick cut streaky bacon, oak smoked trout, or tamari-glazed mushroom. All served with boiled egg, hash brown, seasonal greens, house made condiments, sourdough toast & butter. Finally ending with a cinnamon brioche roll.

    We had a wonderful culinary experience at Holm. We had the Great British Menu tasting menu which was outstanding- beautiful attention to detail- delicious contrasts, generous portions but not overwhelming. Warm and welcoming service with an outstanding team effort- we sat at the counter which was great fun! Will definitely return- a real treat.

    We had the tasting menu, and the food was excellent, some of the best dishes ive ever had. The dishes were varied and presented well. The staff were professional, polite and knowledgeable. The restaurant its self was attractive and looked to have a beautiful outside seating area although we sat inside. Can't recommend it enough.

    We went for a 3 course lunch menu. Exceptional food, good portion sizes. We were very well looked after by the waitresses. Would highly recommend.

    Breakfast on the patio on a sunny morning, perfect. Food well presented and portions about right. We went for smoked trout option which was delicious. The garden is now looking a delight which adds to overall pleasure.

    We ate outside today as it was a warm day. There was a gentle breeze, adequate shading from the sun and the adjacent garden added to the pleasant ambience of the terrace. The food was very flavoursome and plentiful. The person who served us achieved a good balance in her attentiveness and readily answered any questions we had about the menu and ingredients. Altogether a good unhurried lunch at a venue we have eaten at before and will do so again. Highly recommended.

    A lovely lunch in a lovely restaurant. Good to see lots of people enjoying lunch. The food was excellent as always - cod with brandade and wild garlic for me. My husband declared his bavette steak as deliciously perfect!

    Holm is always the perfect destination. Delicious well priced food that changes frequently and will always surprise you. Beautiful surroundings of the restaurant with lovely front of house staff and a very talented friendly open kitchen team. Making every visit a real treat.
