We had a great Fathers Day brunch. The food was wonderful. The only bad thing that stands out was a server snapping at the hostess about billing a customer.
We had a wonderful evening with delicious food at Holly Hill Inn.
Absolutely the best restaurant in Central Kentucky. Ouita is a legend, and Tyler McNabb is a gifted chef. From the decadent tartare and pork belly to the excellently prepared duck and risotto, and finished with the decadent chocolate, the meal was exceptional. Our server Graham was fabulous, and we can't wait to come back for the summer menu!
Great as always
My wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Holly Hull Inn. We had a great time and would definitely recommend anyone to visit.
The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the charm of the old house rang through every corner. We had a very nice time and will be returning.
Thank you Holly Hill Inn for giving us a wonderful surprise for our anniversary dinner. You never fail to impress with your unique dishes, using locally sourced ingredients from people who care. We will definitely be back.
My dining experience at Holly Hill Inn was unforgettable. The food was beautiful and delicious. I will be going back soon.
An excellent meal and experience, as usual for Holly Hill Inn.
The locally sourced dinners are always outstanding. So fresh! And a great wine list! naturally, the bourbon selection and cocktails are also first rate.
Visiting Lexington area and a bourbon trail turned also into a bit of a Ouita Michael restaurant tour - and we were better off for it! Beautiful restaurant in the town of Midway. The prix fixe menu had just changed with the season. Rabbit with a risotto rice and a seafood pot-au-feu were are entrees. We also had something like a fresh garlic flan purée with seasonal veggies and hand cut tagliatelle as apps. Everything was fantastic and the cocktail menu and the very reasonable wine choices are outstanding. AND we met Chef Michael who autographed her new cook book and graciously posed for a photo with us. Great experience. Chef Michael is fantastic.
As always of dinner at Holly Hill was amazing. The staff there is amazing and will try to honor all request. Chef Tyler is amazing. Holly Hills helps create moments for my family and we remember alot of our moments by the food snd time we had at Holly Hills. But let me also say we have had wonderful let's go out and meet friends moments.
Locally sourced, deliciously prepared and graciously served.
This is the best restaurant in Kentucky. We had a delightful brunch. The food and service were impeccable. We appreciated the availability of a small plate for children. We look forward to dining there again.
This was our first time here and we came for brunch, but we’ll definitely be back to try dinner soon. We were seated right next to the entrance/bar/cafe area so it was a little noisier than we’d like but still an acceptable level of noise. Seemed slightly unfair given our reservation was made weeks in advance. We could at least hear one another, although we did hear all of the staff conversations happening in that space. My husband ordered the bluegrass breakfast and was disappointed when the biscuits with fig jam never came. By the time someone came to check, he didn’t want to complain since we know restaurants are struggling to be fully staffed right now. The broccoli and balsamic that came with my omelet was outstanding, so I wasn’t even upset they’d run out of the famed Shelly’s asparagus. The bellinis were tasty, and we enjoyed the snack plate starter that we ordered that came with fresh crackers, cucumbers, radishes, yummy olives, and a variety of spreads. Hopefully we’ll receive better seating and all of our menu items upon our next visit.
We celebrated college graduation here with a small get together. Everything was both relaxed and perfect at the same time. The food was amazing and the ambience was friendly and lots of privacy. We had an amazing time.
Excellent experience. Beautiful house and service and food very good. Only suggestion is to have someone in entryway to greet and then to also wish a fond farewell. Also no interaction with a manager to check in with meal. After such a nice meal, just walking out without anyone present not the right feel. Thanks
The food was very good as usual. The waiter started out a bit snobbish but got better. Always a great place to spend an anniversary.
Our experience was excellent from start to finish! The food was incredible, service was perfectly timed and unobtrusive, and the ambiance was lovely.
We had an excellent dinner on the porch. We knew rain was in the forecast and sure enough, there was a downpour as we finished the main course. The staff very nicely offered to move us inside, but we stayed dry and were glad we stayed outside.
lovely atmosphere. Soft music so you can have great conversation with your party. Food delicious. Recommend the Sunday brunch.
Great dining requires 3 things, Ambiance, service, delicious food. Holly Hill Inn has all three.
Amazing staff .... food was divine
Beautiful setting, good food. Sunday Brunch and dinner anytime is fantastic. Also good option for special occasions. Highly recommend!
The food was terrific. Service was very good considering the pandemic.
Great service..Great food
I can always count on a wonderful time at Holly Hill. Our dinner was wonderful.
What a great experience! Thank you so much. You made our celebration wonderful!
Everyone there is passionate & happy!!!
A definite delicious experience!
Holly Hill was a wonderful dining experience. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable.
Both Holly Hill’s service and food are always outstanding and last night was no different. My friend has food allergies so there is a lot she can’t eat, we called a few days ahead about it and they were more than willing to accommodate her, they had planned adjusted dishes for her and made it seem like it was nothing. This place is beautiful, the food is amazing and the service unmatched. Highly recommend.
As always the meal was excellent and service wonderful. It was so nice to eat there once again
Beautiful setting and a beautiful meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mothers Day Brunch.
Always love coming here for brunch on Mother’s Day. The dodge is beautiful, and the food is delicious!
Great food. Great Service. Servers were very professional.
We love going to Holly Hill, always amazing service and Devine food
We had heard it was the best restaurant in the area and now we believe it. The food was exquisitely prepared and presented. Our server was kind and very knowledgeable. We loved the pairings of wine with the food. Hope we get to come back again before too long.
My favorite restaurant in Kentucky. I go often and am NEVER disappointed
We had a wonderful experience for our 40th wedding anniversary. Staff acknowledged our anniversary as well with a card signed by all of them. It is definitely a must go to!!
I love it that my server watched out for me when I told him I was Glutin free, and even quickly got me another plate when needed. The food was exquisite and a joy to eat. The overall verdict- we will be back for sure!
