   Our meal was overall enjoyable. There were a couple of items on the menu that weren't available, which was unfortunate, but our server alerted us to that fact immediately. She was an excellent server. We shared the delicious bread pudding among three of us when we finished eating our main entrees.

   New Year’s day. Excellent food. Modest interior but people of all different levels of dress we’re comfortable. Great food and very attentive service. Overall a very good experience.

   We had a truly positive experience at Holla in Manitowoc, WI. From the staff to the food, everything was wonderful! We plan on returning to try more menu items as soon as possible!

   We picked a slow night. There were only 3 or 4 tables. I was glad as I heard that it can be very busy especially in the summer time. Our waitress was attentive. My mom is older and needed a bit more time but our waitress was gracious and extended her that. Food was good. A bit overpriced . We will be back.

    The Ahi was truly excellent. Perfect temperature, generous portion, and the accompaniments were original and delicious. This is a real gem of a place.

    This restaurant has a patio with a fantastic view. The service was excellent and efficient. The food was good for the value. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in Manitowoc on business again!

    The shrimp and grits were excellent. The pork schnitzle was tasty but tough. The service was excellent but slow, understandable given how many people were there. We enjoyed sitting on the patio.

    Service is always slow but polite and pleasant. Pizza is always good. The dinner options are always interesting and normally really tasty but this time the swordfish was small and only a tablespoon of purée with some veg chunks different from the menu tossed in a bowl really dry. My daughter got the Indian meatballs and they were dry. Usually we love Holla but they were off their game last weekend. Hopefully next time is better but I can’t keep paying those prices for dry appetizer sized meals.

    You can be sure to have interesting as well as tasty food. They are terrific at providing gluten-free food, as well as paying attention to vegetarians. I had the salmon, as I usually do, and it's prepared a little differently, each time I've had it. Always delicious including vegetables and a different sauce on top. The service was prompt and courteous, checking back several times. Desserts are spectacular!

    This was our first visit. It is a medium sized place with indoor and outdoor seating. We went early and it filled up nicely. Family friendly as well as date night friendly. Smallish menu, but excellent unique food and drinks. Fairly priced for the uniqueness of the dishes and quality of the main ingredients. I highly recommend it.

    Holla is now a few years old and well established. Their hours are a bit tricky to figure out but food and service remain great. They source everything possible from local farms and their menu is the most creative in town, by far. We often recommend Holla to friends and they always thank us afterwards.

    We have been to Holla before COVID but not since things settled down. The service was impeccable. It was a quiet dining room with a wonderful view of the Lake. Our food was delicious and very creative. The wine selection is excellent. We will definitely go again soon.

    First off, we really love this restaurant and we will be back. We had reservations before the symphony so we could have a nice date night. When we arrived we found a sign on the door stating they were closed for the night. I totally understand the circumstance but a heads up would have been nice so we didn’t have to figure out alternate plans right at that moment. Thanks! Update, Holla followed up with me, so sorry for your loss! I’ve updated my review and will look forward to the next time we have an opportunity to enjoy an evening here.

When I called it said that you were unavailable and did not leave me an option to leave a voicemail. We also posted on Facebook, left a message on our machine and hung a note on the door, all stating we were to be closed. I'm sorry you feel the need to leave 1 star.
