   I feel as though this should almost be two separate reviews. We booked the reservation through OpenTable. There was no information on the listing that would have alerted us that there are actually two separate brunch seatings. One, in the Huntington Ballroom is a family oriented, children’s event. I differentiate between an event being child- friendly, and an event being for children, the event in the Huntington Ballroom was FOR children. There was Easter candy, and the Easter Bunny, children running everywhere, playing on the floor, the whole 9 yards. I’m a parent, when my children were little this would’ve been great. As someone who now has adult children with whom I hoped to have an upscale Easter brunch, this was not the experience I paid $175/pp to attend. We found it unbearable after sitting down at our table for only about 2 to 3 minutes. We were very happy that they were able to change our reservations to the other seating downstairs at the Terrace Restaurant. On the other hand, the brunch seating in The Terrace, restaurant was lovely. The food was wonderful, the service was great. The noise level and ambience were really enjoyable. It was also about $50 a head cheaper. This is the experience I would have booked if the information had been clearer. It turned out to be a really nice afternoon.

   Went for Easter Sunday with the family. When we got there the two people checking in peoples reservations were very nice and was able to resolve our seating arrangement issue right away. There a was a photo section with the Easter bunny which was nice. The dessert table they had in the middle of the hallway was nice as well fully decorated and had these cute bunny eggs. So there was two time slots for the Easter egg hunt 11am and 1pm. We went to the 11am. It was out in the garden in a big grassy area. There was also a train ride, it was terrible!! The train ride itself was fine but trying to get on the train was a disaster!!! So we got up to the train ride area and we see some people standing around and others in a line. I asked the attendant if this was the line and he said yes so we got in line and as the train was coming everyone would just walk up to the train. So we missed the first train and then comes the second one we missed that one too because people would just walk up and not getting in line. There was quiet a few people in line behind us waiting so I told the attendant we been waiting in line and he said you will be on the next one. So we finally got on the train ride. After get train ride we went to to check in for our reservation. There was a long line to check in but it went pretty fast. The food was okay wish there was more options. The salmon they had was good! So once we got our food we were looking around for a server to get our drink out there was a few walking around we tried getting their attention but they just ignored us it took us several minutes just to try to get someone. We then was able to get someone and he was super nice he was like the only getting people drink orders giving refills and actually doing his job. While I see others just standing around talking. We didn’t get his name but the receipt said Felipe. It was a nice experience to try once but don’t know if we will come back again for Easter Sunday brunch.

   It was a nice event however there weren't initially enough tables and chairs . The staff moved fast to accommodate everyone but it was inconvenient. There could have been more variety if food offered for the price paid.

   I had higher expectations for 175 per person. The stuffing was dry and the horseradish sauce needed some work. The room was too cold. That being said, the salad and poke bar was delicious as was the dessert selection. My husband and father in law loved the prime rib. We usually go to the Marriott Desert Springs for Thanksgiving and it set the bar very high in terms of presentation and food quality. I would return to the Langham but would hope for better.
