Perched on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, awe-inspiring cityscapes will complement the landmark venue’s decadent buffet. Specialized chef stations will feature a raw bar, breakfast station, carving station, dim sum and an out-of-this-world pastry boutique with indulgent cakes, pies and festive treats.
Due to high demand, all reservations are pre-purchased and non-refundable.
Holiday Brunch is priced at $125.00 per person, plus tax and 20% gratuity, bringing the total cost per person to $162.00. Cocktails and wine will be available for purchase on site.
The room is great. Service excellent. However the food was below par, except for the desert section. The cooked vegetables appeared to have been sitting there for awhile and looked limp and oily. Similarly the salads which had dressing included. A lot of the other dishes weren’t exciting. The two expensive cocktails we ordered appeared to have barely any alcohol. Not value for money sadly
25th wedding anniversary, we got engaged there 25 years ago. We wanted to go back for dinner but all they have is holiday brunch. There was a lot of food but it was all cold nothing was really hot and it was just OK not worth the money. I was happy to be there because I got engaged there 25 years ago
Food was pretty decent but the service was horrendous. Waited 30 minutes to get sat even with a reservation, the waiting lounge had a bar setup but no bartenders so you couldn't even purchase a drink while you waited. We apparently had a server that was assigned to our table but we never saw him, had to flag down a busser for everything that we needed (water, drink orders, plate clearing, silverware refresh, check). Come here if you want to enjoy the room/space but don't expect much from the union labor service staff.
Lovery brunch - next time I’m in New York I will try booking it again
Spectacular!! From the moment we entered the Rainbow Room - the food, service, surroundings and Santa - everything was wonderful.
Loved the elegance of the room, food, and staff. It was an added bonus to have Santa onsite, and a great Santa with rosy cheeks and all!
All the food was COLD!!
The dessert bar ran out of fuel for the S’mores
One of the most beautiful and classic New York venues. The buffet is so stately and delicious! The dessert bar is great, and the ice cream bar is an extra touch!
Food was cold and nothing special. Service wonderful ! Room beautiful. I just think they need to pay much better attention to their food quality not Quantity.
The holiday brunch was fantastic!!! The selection was huge from fresh seafood to many salads and carving stations
Pork belly and ham and fresh turkey!
Loved the Asian station , dim sum and tons of side dishes
Also the dessert wow it was amazing from the nitrogen ice cream to a s’mores station I felt like a little kid!
I really recommend this for everyone
The staff is wonderful they made our experience extra special! It’s definitely pricey but worth every dollar!
Only thing they should have had lobster or caviar would have been a nice touch!
Amazing brunch with options for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. Beautiful ambiance and view. Do not recommend for young children as not worth it for the large price.
The special thing about this is the location, which is stunning. The decor inside is also beautiful.
Wait staff were friendly, but could have been more attentive/available. We had to wait a while to place drinks orders sometimes and get plates cleared and new cutlery.
Food is good, but not amazing for the prices. The Asian selection was disappointing - not well cooked and looked unappetising. The dim sum were chewy and not warm enough. The pasta course wasn’t great either. It was a bit congealed/overcooked. The roast meats were really good as was the dessert station.
Cocktail selection was good, but I would have expected more choice of wine by the glass. Or at least more variety of locations rather than all being local.
It was a nice experience, but I think for the price there is a lot better food out there. You are paying for the location.
We had a wonderful time at the Rainbow Room and spent a full 2 hours at our table without any problem regarding time scale. I would have loved to have had the retro music from the 50's for the whole meal; unfortunately, when we passed the rubicon of brunch in to lunch, the music reverted to modern, more energetic and louder music which was not so compatible with the ambiance. However, that is just one small niggle and I mention it in passing. Wonderful place, wonderful attention to detail and excellent food!
There were four of us for brunch and we all enjoyed it. Our Server Raphael was amazing! answered our questions and helped us get thru all the food options. The chicken pot pie was a marvelous addition.
We are planning on making this an annual event.
Beautiful location but lackluster food and service. We went mid-brunch (1 pm seating) and by that time they had run out of certain items on the buffet and they were never replenished. Our waiter was also MIA most of the time. Pre-paying and automatically adding service on drinks you order means the waiters have absolutely no incentive to actually provide good service.
Fathers Day was fantastic
Fantastic experience! Excellent food, service, venue—all outstanding.
Great overall location and amazing views. Restaurant looked amazing. The overall experience isn't what it once was when you guys had Sunday brunches. They cut down on many stations like egg sous vide, sushi etc. Felt like like many things were scaled back. No live music for father's day??
Our waiter was outstanding and the food was exceptional except for the dessert table which seems picked over and thin. The room itself was too cold (temp was 70 at best) and it was difficult to keep warm which severely compromised the dining experience.
Amazing experience!! A Mother’s Day and birthday to remember
Mother's Day Brunch was lovely! The staff was super friendly. The food was very good. I can't wait to come back again!
such a beautiful location and view. The staff was phenomenal, this will be our new family tradition! Amazing food choices. Overall a beautiful New York experience. For anyone who loves old-school New York when you step into the rainbow room, you feel like you’re stepping back in time in the most beautiful way ! A+++++++ Val our waiter was fantastic!
We had high hopes for this Sunday brunch experience in an iconic New York venue. While the views from the 65th floor were beautiful, and while the buffet was impressively presented, the food quality was disappointing. Many of the dishes that were supposed to be served hot were barely luke warm. And, everything was under seasoned with food ranging from bland to blander. There were a few glimmers of hope (the Beef Wellington for example was delicious) but all in all, they need to pick up their game if they want this to be the incredible experience it should be given the setting.
Attended the Mother’s Day Brunch. The food was delicious and there was plenty of variety for everyone. Beautiful atmosphere. Service was great.
Mother’s Day brunch. Great experience for the whole family.
The savory food was great, but the desserts were dissapointing. There was nothing with chocolate and the ice cream tasted cheap.
We celebrated Easter Years prior at RR but this year we were all disappointed. No menu choices, no carving beef except beef Wellington, no turkey, no chicken choices. The food was not hot at any of the stations. We were a party of 12, we didn’t have flowers on the table. Other tables had flowers, wondering if the party before us took them or the table of 8 which had 2 arrangements just decorated themselves. We had to ask our waiter for wine after purchasing a bottle that was held “somewhere “. One of our guests noticed misspelling food displays. The dessert station was a disappointment compared to prior years. For the value of cold food, slow service for drinks and limited, average selections, I would not return!
I haven not been to the Rainbow Room in years. I celebrated my birthday back in the day at your Italian Fort Night.
My only complaint is the meats were not as hot which is very common at a buffet. The lamps just don't keep the food that hot without spoiling the overall taste and presentation.
Otherwise, I was glad to be there and celebrate my Easter Sunday with my daughter and new son-in-law. I love showing them places in New York that I went to when I was their age.
All the food, hot or cold, was delicious. Thank you.
Annual Easter Brunch was fantastic!
Was a wonderful experience that was enjoyed by our family. Wonderful selection of food and beverages -desserts are extraordinary - the cakes were light , airy and flavorful. Cupcakes and ice cream bar not to be missed.
Great holiday fun.
It was a lovely experience. We arrived a bit early because of some past reviews and ended up sitting 10 mins ahead of our booking time, after waiting for very few minutes. Food was delicious and constantly refilled. Ambiance was peaceful, familiar and not noisy at all, really relaxed. The staff was the best, polite, lovely and dedicated. Pricey, but loved every minute. Thanks!!
The best thing about this bar is the view; i found the drinks over priced and the service lacked any kind of personal service and that we were being rushed on our Valentine’s special dinner. Despite noting I was gluten free on the booking they couldn’t even offer an ice cream or sorbet as a simple alternative to the set dessert. Disappointing.
Came here for Valentine's Day and was completely blown away by great food a decent wine paring and a view that is beyond words
Too much noise
Too expansive for the wine
Amazing views of the city ! Ambiance was spectacular for sweet conversations - definitely made for a special evening . The service was marginal and out waitress was inattentive and seemed to be bothered when we asked even just to have our water refilled . We had prepaid for the valentines dinner so I guess the tip had already been calculated so she had no motivation to attend to our table . We still enjoyed the night .
Tourist trap. Can’t enjoy the view. Food was some of the worst I’ve had, drinks were terrible and service was some of the worst I’ve received in NYC after living here for 10 years.
The service was great and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back and recommend it to others. The views make it extra special.
Wonderful. Wonderful . Wonderful . The views are unbelieveable . Really . Unbelieveable. The food is great . Book a reservation and treat yourself.
