Hojoko offers indoor and patio seating. Our outdoor seating on the pool patio and front patio is uncovered and subject to cancellation due to weather. Our "indoor" dining spaces will have open windows to allow for air flow. As the weather gets cooler, please keep temperature in mind when coming to dine with us as we will keep our windows open in the dining room. Hojoko is a Japanese tavern in the heart of Fenway Park. Modeled after izakayas, or drinking taverns, in Japan, the food is meant to be enjoyed with drinks and good company! Specializing in small plates, the menu encourages diners to share and explore.

My favorite place to go for incredible cocktails, delicious food and the friendliest service staff I have come across in Boston! They remember us every time we come in and create such a fun, exciting atmosphere.
An old favorite, but just went here for the first time since Covid began!
Definitely get a reservation if you plan on eating in Hojoko-- they were booked back to back. At the end of the meal there were people who came in who were intended for our table. The restaurant, like most right now, is enforcing a 90-minute limit on seating, and they take your temperature as you enter.
Great food and attentive service, as always. The bartender and a host/server attended to us, with a runner coming from the kitchen for each dish.
The food menu is limited right now, and the drink menu has some new mixed drinks that they couldn't do when the restaurant was busier, so it was a trade-off. I missed the cauliflower appetizer that I always get, but was really happy with everything. The mushroom tempura maki (with truffle foam?!?!) was really interesting and I'm glad we tried it, even though truffle isn't normally my thing.
The Jungle Parrot drink (rum-based, comes in a tiki cup) was excellent as well.
Smaller menu due to COVID (understandable). But, still great food, service, and cocktails. I highly recommend the crab sushi and fried chicken.

Hojoko is one of the best restaurants i have had the pleasure to eat in. There is not enough good things i can say. The staff, the service and the food was top notch. Their fried chicken, chicken wings, ramen, dumplings and sushi are a must. We will definitely will be returning.
Menu was reduced I understand with Covid, we missed many items taken off ramen was good but wings were overcooked

First time at Hojoko since they reopened and it was great. We sat inside by the windows, it was very comfortable. Sam was very attentive and personable, asked about allergies first then described every dish in detail (knows her stuff). Everything was a great presentation and tasted great- there wasn’t a thing the 4 of us didn’t like and we all plan to be back again soon
We sat out on the spacious patio in mid-October and the weather was great. We split ramen as a main and ordered a hunch of small plates to share. Everything was great. The service was perfect. This is the best spot in Fenway
As always- one of the best places for a night out! Excellent food, killer drinks and phenomenal staff...it doesn’t get much better! Also- they’re taking Covid seriously, temp checks for all, superior air flow. They have thought of it all!
I love hojoko! It’s one of my favorite spots in the city ! The cheeseburger is amazing and the fries are amazing! The mushroom tempura roll is one of my all time favs and I’ve ordered it more than once in a sitting. The funky chicken ramen is also great!

Great dinner at Hojoko on their first night open in a while (due to COVID). They had a safe set up (outdoor tables, masks for all staff members, virtual menus) and the food was delicious. I had the mushroom tempura sushi roll, which is out of this world, and the chicken sandwich, which was also very delicious. The 5678 cocktail is one of my all-time favorites, and the Saturn is up there too. Highly recommend!
So happy to have Hojoko open again! They’ve done a great job making adjustments to maintain social distancing and cleanliness. As always, the food and service were both outstanding! Can’t wait to visit again!
Sushi was excellent, rice dish okay. When restaurant got busy we had to wait 20 minutes for drinks.

Small menu with very limited variety, sushi was brought out about 20 to 30 mins before i got my burger, small portions (didn't order small plates) waitress was slow. Just not worth the money.
This place was so delicious and fun! The drinks were great. The Spicy miso ramen is amazing. The other bites I had from other people at the table were soooo delicious! I will be going back for sure!
My husband and I love Hojoko, we go for a fun date night because we love the fun, funky drink choices and the playful menu options. The shiitake mushroom roll with truffle foam is a must have, and their Hojoko burger or tuna burger are some of our favorites too. When we go with friends, we love to introduce them to Hojoko by ordering the wasabi roulette! It’s a great ice breaker!
I’ve always loved Hojoko, and the food is so delicious, but we had a few issues with the service. First, we put in a drinks order that never got to us and was filled incorrectly. Second, we’d ordered the shitake mushroom tempura roll, and it never got to us - when we asked the waiter he said that they’d run out of it but had forgotten to tell us for 45 minutes. Overall, still a great dining experience and amazing food, but the service could be better.
One of my favorite recent dining experiences in Boston!! The food was incredible highly recommend the brussel sprouts. They were a game changer. The tuna burger is also otherworldly. All the cocktails were fantastic as well even altering if they ran out of an ingredient to a wonderful drink. Service was a little slow but I wasn't in a rush so will for sure be back

One of my favorite spots in Boston for a fun and lively dinner with friends and family. Would recommend for anyone who likes exciting and shareable plates.

I've been going to Hojoko since they first opened. The menu is always changing but they always keep their classics. The Shitake Mushroom Tempura is one of the best things I've ever eaten. You would never think to order a burger at Hojoko, but the burger is phenomenal.
Our waitperson was friendly,informative, and knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. The food was delicious! Interesting ingredients and flavor combinations. The cocktails were great, too!
Great new food items!
Hojoko always seems to add / remove the items that we really enjoy with some regularity. One this evening we were hoping to get the uni toast, wagyu skirt steak, eggplant and wagyu meatballs. We got some other dishes which were good but not the greatest. Terrific service and fun vibe. I’ll come back when they improve the menu
Had a great meal at Hojoko with a friend - great spot to meet after work. The restaurant has cool vibe and ambiance. The cocktail list had a good variety. The Raba Raba was AMAZING - refreshing and light. The food was delicious - my friend had the fried chicken sandwich. I had the Funky Chicken Ramen with the spicy relish on the side. The ramen noodles, chicken and toppings were great! The broth was flavorful, just a little salty. The relish is VERY spicy, but a good add-on. Happy that comes on the side. Would definitely recommend this place!
Note that everything comes in small portions, even the sandwiches and bowls are not that large. The spicy tuna burger and okonomiyake were my fav. The yakisoba is Def not worth it. Nyc>tko cocktail was basically a good quality whiskey sour, but not very memorable. If you're looking for yummy food in a casual setting and willing to pay a bit, I would Def check it out.
Great space and fun atmosphere - sat at the bar. Tenders were attentive and knowledgable. Tried a bunch of dishes - loved the hamachi sashimi and the fried chicken (from the bottom right corner of the menu). The potstickers were also delicious.
Food good but not amazing for the price. $12- California roll was average. Tofu tempura was very good.
NYE three years in a row!! Great spot.
