Hogtown Smoke is a Southern BBQ restaurant located in Stoney Creek, Ontario in the Greater Hamilton Region. Over here, we smoke meat the traditional way using our gigantic wood smokers. Born from the spirit of no-waste consumption, traditional Southern BBQ often utilizes every piece of meat. They're cooked with low-temperature smoke for hours at a time. This technique infuses the delicious BBQ meat with smooth, woody flavours while breaking it down into our buttery, tender smoked meat dishes. Join us for Brunch on Sundays, Trivia on Mondays, Karaoke on Tuesdays, Live Music and DJing on our HUGE patio or come by and catch the game! Mobile catering is also an option we provide if you want to bring our smoked meats to your next event! It's hard to rate a restaurant when you show up and it's locked. No notification to say they were closed. We drove 40 minutes for a 7pm reservation to arrive and the doors are locked. Open Table should not promote this chain. Very disappointing!!!!

I gave it a mediocre rating because the place was closed when we got there, so I really don't know if it's any good. It's frustrating that they didn't suspend reservations or place a notice on their website indicating they were temporarily closed.

Showed up and it was closed. Drove 30 mins to find out they don't update their website.

It would have been a lot better if, on a Saturday night, they hadn't run out of several items we tried to order, including a second cup of coffee. The food was very good once we ordered stuff they had. I think I would phone before going again to see what was in stock. They do their own smoking of meats and that is worth the visit.

This was the worst dinner out we have had in 2 years The service was the worst I have ever seen. The food was terrible. It was cold and took a half hour to come to us. Only 2 tables in the restuarant where busy so no excuse for the late dinner. We asked for pino white wine the waitress said they just ran out nobody was drinking wine. It was the biggest mistake we made for dinner. Please if you going there change your mind you will be much better off.

It was our very first visit at Hogtown Smoke and everything was excellent. The only complaint every single person at the table had was the music was beyond loud. It was a very good choice of music but the level was out of control. I chose to not say anything to the server to not look like I was complaining but I wish I had.

The mains were good. The appetizers of burnt ends was so hard it hurt my jaw to chew them. The jalapeño popper were extremely hard to cut and the filling tasted like toothpaste. Also, the menus were filthy.

Ribs tough and cold although server was good about offering to reheat them. Potato salad dry and coleslaw tasteless. Pretty place in converted church.
