Consistently great dining experiences here for me. I had the best entree salad here recently - Jerk Chicken Cobb salad. It was huge, delicious, and very satisfying. Husband had Chicken Parm special and loved it. Servers were great. Knowledgeable about menu and specials. Never a half full water glass on the table.

The food is always very good. Friday is their prime rib special night. Huge cut of perfect prime rib. They are very gluten sensitivity conscious. Although the selections are slightly limited, they will adapt when they can. They don't label blue cheese as gluten safe because the bacteria for the "blue" is grown on gluten containing media, which I did not know.

Great chef and staff and responsive barkeeps. Very positive energy throughout and so helpful. The menu is loaded with incredible choices. Now if you come very hungry, go no further than the Meatloaf dinner. Incredible! So tasty.

We have not dined at Hogshead in a few years and wanted to give it another try. We truly wanted to be able to review a stellar experience, but it was just average. There doesn’t seem to be a cohesive theme to the restaurant, and the food was fine, but nothing exceptional. There were very few other diners. We would love to see this little spot come back to life!

The entrees were ill-prepared ; fried chicken soggy, meat loaf mushy, and BBQ ribs very overcooked. Expensive - meat loaf and ribs were $36 each while their web site said they should be $28.

We have dined here multiple times and enjoy the service and the food. On this occasion we had a large group and most of the dishes were done well. The meat loaf and the Caribbean jerk pork were excellent (the pork was a tad bit spicey) and the fried green tomato's are the best in Hilton Head. Unfortunately, the shrimp and grits came out cold. It is served in a skillet so one would not think it would not be cold but four in our party had it and all four said the dish was cold and the shrimp undercooked. Surprising because we generally have positive experiences here. None chose to send it back or complain and we only heard about it after we left. For dessert we shared the key lime pie and the pecan pie, both very good. We also tried a number of the craft cocktails and the table reviews were positive. Despite the above you should give this place a try for a good low country meal. Portions are very large.

Wonderful experience as usual. Food was fabulous. We met long time friends we had not seen in Forever and had a wonderful experience. They accommodated our party of 7 with no problem. Traffic was bad and we were late. They said no problem.

Loved the places. Warm greeting at the door started our visit. I had the Red fish special and it was excellent. My wife and son had the burgers with the house made ketchup and they were excellent. Our server Donna took our experience to another level. Thanks Donna. We will put this restaurant on our must visit list during our next trip. Thanks for taking care of my family.

The food st Hog’s Headwe’ve never been disappointed, and I frequently come here with first time friends, and they have enjoyed their meal. What I really like about Hogshead staff and the service. Everyone’s friendly. and we’re always made to feel welcome. The interaction of the staff to each other it’s also friendly and relaxed and this makes for a relaxing evening sometimes sit in the bar. I would like to sit in the big room, but it gets very noisy dining outside in good weather is a plus.

The chef is GREATLY gifted!! Every single bite we experienced was absolutely fantastic, creative, with great layers of flavors, creative, and perfectly executed!! This is TRULY a gem! Best meal not only in Hilton Head but the best we have had in a long time anywhere! HIGHLY recommend this place. We wish it was closer to us in Florida!!

We have lived on Hiton Head Island for several years, but this was first visit. Overall, I was very impressed. The special was a blackened red fish served over sweet corn risotto and spinach. It was the perfect combination and balance of sweet, spicy, and bitter. My complements to the chef! Our cocktails were excellent and the apptezers did not disaapont. We will be back, probably to have a drink and the bar and shares some of the many small plates. We really enjoyed the evening.

We can’t wait to go back! This was the first time, and I so appreciate I was asked how I would like my salmon prepared. I always have to mention it when I’m ordering cause I’ve never asked the salmon was amazing. generous should well seasoned and served over mashed cauliflower and brussels sprouts really really good. Three of us had it and was very happy with their meal Tasted the spareribs And will order that next time Falling off the bone and melted in my mouth who could resist. I had the peach cobbler for dessert. It was really really well done. I’m gonna have liked a few more peaches maybe next time. This is our third time to hogshead we got a problem make this or go to local neighborhood restaurant

This was an amazing experience. The chicken parm which was a special, was food for 3 days. The crust was out of this world. The drinks amazing. It was one of the best dining experiences of my lifetime.
