The food (sauerbraten dinner) was awful. The meat was tough and cut too thick, the spatzle was so salty, cold and tasted like flour. The red cabbage had an odd flavor and mushy consistency. The potato salad was too vinegary tasting. The wine was awful. The beer was fine and the applesauce was the only good food(probably Motts) it was sooooo loud so we ate on the outside patio which was on The main road. Very disappointing. If you want noise and beer you can go there, but NOT for casual dining. The chef spoke to us and apologized. They took off our food cost from the bill which was good but we left hungry.
For friends birthday we had horrible seating. Ended up in the beer garden because seating so bad in hall. I had asked for a birthday bash for her Nothing was done. Waitress was so overwhelmed we waiting at least a half hour. Food was good. Just felt like we were an afterthought. My husband and I have been bringing friends and family for over 15 years. Just very disappointed.
It was just okay.
Delicious authentic German food. Fun place! Very large portions.
Server was awesome. Don’t know her name but she had a 15 pin. Beer was great. Food was amazing.
The price is still the same but the portions of gotten smaller
I was looking forward to a little Oktoberfest but the noise level in the Hall was difficult to deal with. I was taking out a guest and it was difficult to communicate. The service and food were fine - except the red cabbage - in my opinion - was not very good. It had a sauce that was more like a thick gravy. If I had been out with a group looking for a rowdy time - then it probably would have been a better experience.
We had a group of 8 and we went during Oktoberfest. The Australian Bee Gees tapped the keg. The restaurant was very lively and loud. It was a bit hard to talk but it was a fun time. We will definitely be back.
I enjoyed the waitress but she was affected by all the noise and I ordered was wrong. The food was OK but nothing exciting. And that you enjoy drinking beer and celebrating such. Part of the reason Was my expectation based on their website so this may be unfair but my opinion
Great time and excellent food. Not your typical chain restaurant and its uniqueness is worth the money and wait. Reservations are the way to go.
Always fun at the Hofbrauhaus. The beer is great and the food portions are large. A great place for a birthday celebration!
October fest in Las Vegas! No need to fly to Germany.
Great Octoberfest spot!
Definitely going back with friends and family. Super nice staff and entertainment
Make sure you make reservations as it gets busy. The food was amazing and it was a fun atmosphere. Will definitely come back again!
Too loud, too touristy, food was ok at best...would not recommend or go back..
It was a fun place, brought back old memories, although I found it to be to Americanized. Was hoping for more authenticity. To much Austrian or Swiss influence and not the true Deutschland I remember. Aber, das bier schmecht gut und das Schnitzel auch!
Outstanding food and service. A definite place to eat when you are in Las Vegas. Highly recommend this place.
I have mixed emotions about this restaurant because I enjoy the concept of a beer hall with live German entertainment. Our experience was marred at the get-go because we were sat at a dirty table. Luckily our server understood that this should not have occurred and informed the manager. Sadly, the manager did not visit the table to apologize or make up for this glaring mistake.
My experience here confirmed that I am not a fan of German cuisine. That is my personal preference; however, other guests experiences made me question the quality of the food..i.e. being served what were effectively cheap boiled hot dogs and labeled as German sausages. Finally, we enjoyed the live entertainment; however, the sound system is horrible, and we could not understand the host.
Great place. Must have been an old church. Fantastic German style venue with great beer, things to buy, and traditional food. Was probably the best place we visited whale there.
Hofbrahaus is a fun tradition for Oktoberfest. The food is nothing special, so once a year is perfect.
Fast friendly service, excellent food quality.
Went for a birthday dinner for my husband. When we arrived, the hostess completely ignored us! She was talking with a coworker for at least 5 min before she even acknowledged that we were standing there in front of her. Not once did she say “welcome” or “we’ll be right with you”. Finally, once her conversation concluded, she decided to do her job and had someone seat us. Very unprofessional and had we not been return customers and already known how service usually is, we may not have come back. There are way too many good place to eat in Vegas to have to put up with that kind of disrespect. The rest of our dinner was outstanding. Our waitress was wonderful, the food was delicious, and we had a great time enjoying the entertainment!
The food was ok.
Great food and beer. Great fun. Almost like being back in Germany.
Lived in Germany for 20 years and this is the most authentic German restaurant I’ve been to in the States
Always a great time with good food excellent German beer and a very happy crowd.
Too F'N loud.
Always a fun time. We arrived early and thought we would just sit at the bar. They seated us! It was great. Cannot say enough about our server. The experience was already good but she made it better. Look forward to the next trip!
We dined somewhat early, so were seated promptly. Once the band started up again (with an Alpine horn player), the noise picked considerably. Of course, one should expect that from a German-themed beer hall. The draught beer was nice and cold (wish their steins were authentic—with the proper beer level marked! The brezen (pretzel) with beer cheese was quite good, as was the jaeger schnitzel.
By the time our food arrived the place was really filling up. Folks were enjoying the rowdy ambiance and the even louder music.
A nice experience, crafted after the Munich original.
The food great. Atmosphere was fun. Wait staff was efficient.
We had two different sausages, not much flavor or enthusiasm in the cooking. Bland, basically two types of dull flavorless hot dogs. Not much to say about the sides either.
Fun atmosphere which is sure to ebt
Food was excellent. The music was fun although it was very loud.
If you are looking for something out of the ordinary with a fun vibe, this would be a decent choice. Nothing amazing, just different.
If you like a loud environment and German food - this is probably the place for you in Vegas. For me it was a) too noisy and b) the Swat (with a wooden paddle) for a Shot had no redeeming social value other than to fulfill the sadomasochistic fantasies of the Blonde with the bat. Her smile was unnerving as she swung for the fences with both young and old victims alike. Won't be going back and will definitely dissuade others from doing so as well.
This place never disappoints! Great good excellent beer and so much fun. Highly recommend this experience.
Great service waitress Gabi nice. Food came out fast. Whole place nice. Mngr kool
Heather our server was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. When we go to Las Vegas, my husband usually makes it his first spot to eat. Have never been disappointed with the quality of the food, variety of genuine German dishes available and the ambiance and service. Next best thing to being in Munich at the Hofbrai
Great place to mingle and have toasts of their favorite drinks. The food was great also. The band was good also.
