After being the ‘life-of-the-party’ in downtown CBD for the last six years, Mama’s ready to kick-start another exciting new venture in the wild, wild East! And where better for this Tiger Mama to roar than the vibrant South-East Asian hub of flavour and culture that is Swan Street, Richmond!

Mama's second-coming will be servin' you Eastside excellence! – but this sequel is just as good as the original!

We’re beyond ecstatic to share this new space with the public and bring the Richmond tiger cubs some of Mama’s lovin’!

Great food, every single dish was a treat, each different and full of flavour. Spice level was also just right, enough to know it was there, but not too much for those that can't enjoy the heat... The service was warm, smiling and sincere, all too often later into the evening serving staff can look and sound tired, NOT at Hochi, we were always smiled at and spoken to in such a warm manner. Vibe was just right, music was loud enough to add to the atmosphere, but subtle enough that we could still converse. Highly recommended!

Amazing food !! The lamb curry was so tender and the chicken cashew & vegetable was very tasty. Defiantly coming back to order these 2 dishers again .

Hochi Mama is one of our favorite restaurants, he food is always 10/10 and quick to come out. the service at Hawthorn was exceptional. Both servers we delt with were very personal and it made our experience amazing. Cannot wait to go back.

Staff were wonderful, food was delicious and the vibes were vibing. You could hear your friends over the music which is a must now we have turned 40 haha. Definitely recommend - the feed me menu is the best!!!
