HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern - Midtown
The food was actually pretty good, especially the spring roll appetizer. The service however was perhaps the worst we ever had. We were greeted with an attitude of indifference, and then ignored for several minutes. It took almost 10 minutes just to have our drinks delivered, and much longer for our food. We will not go back.
It was great. Even though I arrived a little late, my friends were still seated and accommodated just as though I was already there. It was a great ambience and my friends and I really enjoyed.
This is a great neighborhood bar vibe. They have a great beer selection and their menu is perfect. Fantastic Triple B burger and the pizza was good. I'd definitely go back!
Burgers are tasty. Service was terrible. Seemed unprepared for a normal moderately busy Friday night. Their price point is too high for the abysmal service.
We had a nice outing celebrating my pay raise. Only one small downer, the Parking lot was full, but the valet told me of a lot around the corner that I could park, so it worked out. The valet even allowed me pull inside the full lot to allow my to family exit so that they wouldn't have to make the walk back to the restaurant. Service was nice and fast, the waitress was very sweet. I wish that I could remember her name to post here. I will come again just to hangout and take in the vibes.
Would not recommend. The worst service I have ever had. A table of 5, we were there 3 hours. Charged for extra sauce, more bread for our appetizer, and graditity was included but only a party of 5? Food was mediocre
One of my favoriste bruch location in Atlanta. My only complaint is the Prime Rib & Eggs is not the entire prime rib instead of the slices it used to be. My steak had way too much fat on it. Server was great and quick. There was a line at the door when I got there but most of them didn't have reservation so they ended up leaving once the announcement of the wait time. I had a reservation. I'll be back of course!
Good pub food
Brunch date. Very busy, service was slow due to the busyness. Manager on duty was great.
Thank You, My birthday brunch was amazing quick food, great service. Will definitely return.
9 of my friends and I celebrated my birthday with brunch at Hobnob (midtown location). My shrimp and grits were amazing and they never let my mimosa glass get empty! However some of the people at my table didn’t get their food until 30 min after the first people got food so the service was a little iffy but I would still recommend! Also I got 2 tequila shots on the house for my birthday so no complaints here!
I came into Hobnob for brunch, on the weekend of my birthday. I had the breakfast sampler and it was delicious, but my friend got the egg whites (too salty to consume) and the chicken and waffle sliders, which they enjoyed. The server was slow, but a young lady named Ayanna definitely made up for it. She kept coming to our table to check and see if we needed anything, despite our efforts to reach our server. The manager came over and gave me a free shot for my bday and the bartender was very generous with the drinks we bought. I would definitely come back again.
Unlike the Brookhaven location, this location has EXCELLENT service. The servers and the manager, Kyle, were friendly a d courteous. We will drive the extra 15 minutes to enjoy Hob Nob in midtown!!!
Overall the experience was good. I’d definitely return for the bottomless mimosas. The food was just okay. They offer free valet parking. There’s live music from 1-4 on Sundays. They also have covered outside seating.
Had a horrendous experience with the valet who gave my keys to another customer who left. They made a terrrible effort to retrieve them. Took over 2 hours to be on my way.
Office lunch with the "girls". Everyone was happy with their food. Service was great.
The service was great, as well as the live music! Looking forward to dining again soon.
Horrible experience. Do not try. What a terrible experience. An hour and 45 minutes for food. No refills. 30 minute wait for drinks. The server was nice (Trey) but completely incompetent. The situation was the same with every table around. The table across left without ever getting food. I would not recommend anyone coming. I am surprised they are open.
Was a very good experience. However, one of our party members had to wait a very long time for some food to be redone. The live music was great, he did such a great job singing from several genres.
This is one of my favorite places... but this time it was a mess... I was on a date and both of our entrees were incorrect... I watched the waitress write down our order so I know she had it... but when it was delivered, everything was the pits... no bacon, sunny eggs and missing items...but on the good side it started raining and the waiters and waitresses were absolutely amazing in finding us a new space... ensured our drinks were always full and that we were comfortable in the new spot... it is still one of my fav places and will always come back... but the kitchen needs to do a better job!
Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We enjoyed the restaurant. The food and patio seating were good. I was disappointed that my potatoes and broccoli were not hot. It seems as though they let them sit out while waiting for the rest of the food for our party to get done :-(
Started off a bit rough with customer service but it improved. The server took a while to acknowledge us. However, after that it good food and a good time
Food was great. And Trey was a great waiter. He made great suggestions and frequently checked on us to make sure we were good.
The atmosphere was wonderful. The server knew the menu throughout. Educated me and My guest on different drink options. The best restaurant I’ve been to while living in Atlanta Georgia. I’m so overjoyed that I am going to plan my birthday dinner there as well.
The drinks were very tasty & they were huge, so let’s start with a positive. The table we sat at had a towel stuffed into the ceiling gap where it was dripping down on our table the entire meal. We pointed it out, nothing was done abt it. The server was very frazzled, we had to stop her to see if she was handling our table, she was but thought someone else had taken the table since we had drinks. We had drinks because there was a wait & we got them from the bar. We had to ask for water & silverware more than once. The Mac & Cheese we wanted as app for the table came when our brunch food came. It was luke warm and here were no truffled breadcrumbs as stated in the menu. Was asked abt it and were given a small ramekin of untoasted tasteless breadcrumbs. My chicken and waffles were not very good. The chicken was small in proportion to the amount of waffle you received. I could only eat very little of the waffle or you didn’t taste the chicken.
It was my birthday, we ordered 2 desserts a lava cake & banana creme brûlée the lava cake was kind of warm the banana desert was ice cold. Weird. To top it all off they didn’t even offer a birthday dessert. The waitress admitted she wasn’t feeling well, thanks and you’re serving food to people, she said she was sorry for the bad service.
This place is a short walk from my new home & I was really hoping to be able to eat there often with friends as a local easy hangout. That will NOT be the case. I have given it 2 tries since moving here & I’m done.
Our waitress was terrible. She didn’t seem to care much about our table and continually forgot items or left us without beverages
We had bottomless brunch on the patio this past Sunday. The live music and atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive. Highly recommend!
Solid food, but nothing spectacular. Also kind of a weird parking situation as the restaurant is on a busy ATL corner and the small lot is valet only.
Great food, Great service and great drinks with a large selection of bourbon!
Great spot for good food. Sat outside since it’s nice weather, but regretted it. Tons of traffic & street noise - definitely negatively impacted the table ambiance.
Was also charged a fixed gratuity rate at a 3 person table... found that a bit odd.
Great place for brunch with family and or friends.
The food portions were horrible. Who wants to pay 13 dollars for the cauliflower entree when there’s nothing that excites me about it
Really great food. Sat on patio for Sunday brunch. Great acoustic live covers performed by James Morgan
Service was great, food not so good!
Our server was very nice but we went very long periods without seeing her while she was over at the bar hanging out with other employees. It took a very long time for the food to come out and mine was ice cold. They had to go microwave it to heat it up. Not a great experience.
I've been coming here for 8+ years and eaten many times. Obviously, it was a great local neighborhood gem that I enjoyed bringing friends. The last few times have declined with food quality(dinner menu). Very average food- Spring Rolls ordered and collard greens were bitter overpowering rolls; flatbread was yummy, but served uncut?; Salmon salad ordered medium and delivered dry/crunchy(server asked how I wanted it cook and confirmed she preferred medium as well); Cocktails were bitter and a disappointment. The servers were very friendly, but seemed distraught, by reassigning us to different people and forgetting our table for 20 minutes to take our order after drinks were served. Sorry, but too many other options in town, and hope they can use this post for good. Best Wishes!
The breakfast bowl left a lot to be desired. The potatoes were on the bottom, huge, and unseasoned. The atmosphere was cool, but seemed more for drinking than eating.
Waitress was amazing, server (Seth) was out of this world, and the musician (James P Morgan) took my breath away. And the chicken & waffles and the mimosas were insane. 10/10 would recommend!
Food was ok. Service wasn't the best. The server wasn't very attentive
