Great restaurant with a wide variety of food. The ambiance is energetic and very lively. Menu has some really good dishes on it. Very nice variety for just about everyone. Food service was fast. Food orders were promptly delivered fresh, hot, and delicious.
Loved the magician, he was really good! Food was delicious. Music was very loud and it was difficult to hear the server.
Overall brunch was delicious and enjoyable. Service was good. We sat out side and the music was quit loud. Asked if it could be turned down a little, no results.
The waitress never asked us if we need anything other than drinks at the beginning. Towards the end of ur dinner the waitress asked us if we needed to order anything before the kitchen closed and when we mentioned what we wanted to order she said wait let me check and see if the kitchen is still open. We received our food at a timely manner. The waitress wasn’t friendly.
Loved that the kids could play so easily while we were out to eat
Pretty loud last night with a couple large raucous birthday parties. Service was extremely slow - they seem to need more help like most restaurants these days. Food was pretty good.
We love going to Halcyon, and Hobnob has great food! We sat at the rooftop bar, and the service was very good. They have a ton of beers on draft and good wine selections as well. Great place to go with friends!
We did wait over an hour for our food but the managers were very kind & gave us a free appetizer! Great place and food!
Food took over an hour to get to our party and the food did not taste good. The waitress was very nice though.
My dietary needs were taken care off! Great service and great food!
Brunch was delicious! Great service from a friendly waitress.
Reserved outside seating, was seating inside. Server's first day. She tried - kitchen backed up. Appetizer toast was stale. Main course took forever. Management made it right by comping main course. Check should have been run up to include main course then credited to show original total for the server's tip. This didn't happen. Crowded and they were not prepared for the crowd. Went to upstairs bar post dinner for drinks. Music was LOUD. Bar tenders not attentive. Disappointing overall. Server did her best and management did their best to make it right but overall very disappointing.
Our server Amanda was pleasant and attentive, and the patio seating was nice, but unfortunately our food left a lot to be desired. One burger dish (which was $16) was quite overcooked, and the fries that accompanied all our dishes were cold. When we arrived home, I had an email indicating we were no-shows for our OpenTable reservation, despite having checked in with the hostess and advising her of our rez. We ended up sitting outside because the music/noise level indoors was so high, no one in our party could have heard each other speak. I may return in the future for drinks, but not for dinner.
Food was just ok
Staff, food awesome!
The food was very good. I love my chimichurri, the pretzel appetizer was excellent, the service outstanding, we enjoy our conversations until the music volume was loud but we didn’t care it was worthy
This is the perfect place to go with your friends for good food and drinks, we will be back very soon
The brunch is delicious! They are always able to accommodate my dietary needs (gluten free and vegetarian).
I ordered a chopped salad ($14) with salmon added, which was an additional $10, (salmon to be cooked medium well) The piece of salmon was so tiny. We asked the waitress about it, and even she agreed that it was a very tiny piece for $10. She said she would try to get extra piece. I sliced the fish and it was completely raw on the inside. We again asked the waitress about it; she had the manager come to our table. With QUITE THE ATTITUDE, the manager basically told us that that was the size of all fish served there (we have eaten there before ~ it most definitely IS NOT). In addition, she informed us that my fish was cooked properly. It basically looked like sushi or a seared piece of tuna. We were mainly disgusted with the manager and her attitude.
Awesome food and great customer service! Atmosphere that night was 80's night. It was entertaining.
Birthday day dinner our waiter was excellent and recommended some great things.
The food was very good and this was my first experience. I had the short rib sandwich and it was outstanding.
Great old fashion and craft beer selection. Fried green tomatoes are top notch as well.
Appeared to be understaffed. It took a long time to place order and an hour to receive our meal, too long for burgers and shrimp tacos. Reserved table for 4 at 7:45 and didn’t finish our meal until 10:00.
We enjoyed the edamame hummus as an appetizer. We had burgers for dinner and all of the burgers and fries were good. We also shared red velvet cake for dessert and peanut butter pie everything was good. We sat inside because it was a warm evening and the noise level was very high. Not with music, just the general din. If you have trouble hearing you need to sit outside.
In a sentence, the food was good and not so good and the service was okay, but negatively impacted by insufficient staffing.
Our server was also the bartender for the night and he set the expectation from the beginning that he would have difficulty being as attentive as he would like to be. Despite this he did a good job.
The value was below average. We paid almost $12 for the fried green tomato appetizer which consisted of only four slices of some of the greenest tomato I’ve ever eaten. The chèvre used beneath the slices was great, though, as was the sriracha aioli on top. Do NOT get the BBQ pork rinds! They were clearly not fresh and were so hard my wife got an oral abrasion trying to eat one!
I cannot fault their drink selections. So many bourbons to try (over 100!) and a good variety of beer on draft.
My wife’s pork belly tacos were delicious and filling, but my porter braised short ribs were tender, but surprisingly dry.
Remarkably loud inside making conversation difficult. This may be a better option for a fun night out with friends instead of a romantic date.
We had a great dinner with a small group of 6 adults on a Sunday evening at HobNob. Our server was great, service was fast, food was yummy and atmosphere was also great. I would recommend it.
First and last time.
Fun atmosphere! Great service and food. Will be back again!
Arrived early before any other customers, served us old fries, how does that happen when there are no patrons even in the establishment. My mother didn’t receive any of the sauces that came with her meal. Pork belly bowl was good. Salmon cakes were good but burnt on outside and undercooked on the inside. Poached egg was good but the meal was lacking so much flavor. The cooks really need some training and so do the servers. Nobody had any personality. Our server spilled my mother’s mimosa all over her lap and didn’t even offer her a towel, just proceeded to wipe the table. Who does that? She also suggested a mimosa that was $2 extra but didn’t let us know which wasn’t a big deal but would’ve been nice to know. My mom had to walk around all afternoon with liquor smelling pants-she could’ve at least removed the cost of mimosa from her bill. I will not be back - just ugh. I should’ve listened to all of the Yelp reviews. It was our first time at Halcyon and should’ve chosen another restaurant.
Pork belly tacos were outstanding . The salmon was great, however I asked for medium well and got medium to medium rare . Wine was delicious. Abby was our server and she was great.
Great food, great drinks, and great service. I would definitely go back to Hobnob and would certainly recommend it to others.
Parking is non existent nearby. Very noisy. Seated at a table that had water dripping from ceiling. Took forever after ordering to get food. Food was good, although they got one of the orders wrong — burger ordered with side of broccoli; waitress let us know after ordering they were out, and asked if green beans was acceptable swap. Answer yes, green beans are fine. It was served with fries, not a green bean in sight….
Probably won’t return to this location. (Although I like the one in Dunwoody)
The location is great and it’s a good place to meet friends. The food? It was never that good (I’ve been there half a dozen times), and it’s going downhill. This time I had a wedge salad. The dressing seemed old and didn’t taste much like bleu cheese. I think it had been watered down with a lot of mayonnaise added. And it was off-white in color, like hollandaise sauce. Not good! The lettuce was not cool and crisp—it was room temperature and a bit wilted. I added some chicken, but I wouldn’t do that again. The meat was flavorless and dry, and it was also room temperature. I had the feeling it had been precooked (baked, no grilled?), refrigerated, and then popped into the microwave for a few seconds. Considering the prices here, this won’t do.
I ordered the $14 chopped salad with the blackened chicken for another $6. I was expecting it to be your typical, full-size entree salad. The salad was no more than a small side salad and it had 3 small chicken tender size bites that maybe was 3 oz. of chicken. I asked the server when she brought it out if it was missing chicken. She went to the kitchen and returned and said that's the right amount. The salad was just a little bit of romaine, arugula, soggy tomatoes, corn and edamame. Like maybe no more than 200 calories worth of food for $20. I told the server that I was super disappointed in the salad and her response was "well next time you come I'll be sure they make it extra good for you". She didn't adjust bill or offer to bring anything else out. I was with friends so didn't want to make a scene, but it left a really bad impression. I have eaten here once before and had a nice, filling salad. This was a complete ripoff!
The worst quality of food I’ve ever had at a dining experience at this location. The burger came out overcooked and charred and the fries were hard and cold. My boyfriend’s sandwich had a crust that was impossible to eat because it was so burned. They switched servers halfway through the meal but neither of them stopped to check in. You had to flag them down even though the restaurant was not busy.
We had an excellent brunch today! Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious. Can't wait to visit again soon.
Service was very slow but they were pretty busy! Yummy burgers and entre dishes. Great Moscow mules! Strong martinis!
Good $20 hamburger. Not sure why I couldn’t make a reservation later when it seemed there were plenty of tables.
Great food and service!!!
